The vibe was amazing, the court yard was so fun but peaceful at the same time. The rooms had smart tvs so we weren’t stuck with cable. The Ac was easy to work as well. But the staff was what made the hotel so great. I can’t remember her name, but the woman who works in the evening with the short dark hair & glasses was so amazing, gave us the best recommendations, was so helpful & put thought into what room she put us in. She was easy to talk to & we had great conversations with her. Easily the best person we met on our whole visit.

The location isn’t the greatest, only because it’s about a 20-30 minute walk to the quarter. If walking doesn’t bother you, then this place is perfect, especially for the price point. The only time we struggled with the walk was after our trip to bourbon street!

The property is located conveniently near, but not directly in the center of all the bustle, but just close enough to where you can appreciate all of the charms of NewOrleans. One of the best parts about the property are how wonderful the staff is. Any minor discrepancy and they are always quick to help and assist you and are steadfast incorrect, anything that I’ve ever taken issue with. I’ve seen them do the same with other guest as well which shows a caring and loving staff that is always happy to see return.

I always find that it’s difficult to sometimes, during big events, find parking on the street, which is where the majority of the parking is. But much of that is to my fault, because there is a secret little parking lot that they took towards the back of the property that you enter from a different area. my only complaint about the property this time is that the drink machine has gone up from $2.50 to three dollars. I’m hoping that’s not a sign of the coming inflation lol.

Everything!! This beautiful home, turned hotel is soooo cozy and clean. It was the absolute best location, less then 1min from bus stops and streetcar! You can walk to downtown from here, i believe it took less then 10mins to get to frenchman st. Nice little store across the street for whatever you need. Staff was super welcoming, just a perfect experience!!!

Our shower could of had a little more water pressure, but that's our only slight complaint.

I like the local vibe and the atmosphere of the hotel, and the staff was very helpful and very friendly, they made sure I had what I needed for my stay. Nice clean room, close to things that I needed, and it reminded me of my old neighbor in Brooklyn. Love ❤️ my stay.

Everything, not one complaint. It wasn't noisy, or loud, clean rooms, really really HOT water. Only thing I found that I didn't like was, no windows. But I can live with that. And no one was in the office early in the morning to assist with getting a cab to the train station. Other than that it was a nice stay.

This is the second year in a row that I’ve stayed here for the New Orleans Pride Celebration and the location is EXCELLENT! It’s LITERALLY located in the middle of the celebration! Great on site parking, too for a nominal fee.

The air conditioning is always an issue but I do understand that the building is very old and I like to sleep very cold. The tv didn’t work (or I just couldn’t figure it out) and there was no trash can in my room. I did go to the office and got one immediately.

The property was right across from the Pride Festival which is the reason I was staying in NOLA. I was able to watch the main stage from my front door. The room I was given had a unique type of character you only see in the Marigny Neighborhood. I love the bright colors of the hotel. The location was right next to two of my usual bars too. I was welcomed by the staff, promptly checked in, complimented on my look by the manager, and I was upgraded to a larger room because they needed my room. Jazz was an absolute delight for check in and check out.

The bathroom needed some cosmetic work and new lighting. The counter in the kitchen needed some tlc but everything was clean.

We stayed in a large family room. If I tell you the room was wonderful great price and location. The ladies that checked us in and out was very nice. Great location for walking and entertainment. The kids also enjoyed the location plenty of food places in walking distance. Beds are very comfortable. Would definitely stay again. 🤩🤩

There was nothing I didn't like about the stay. Only down side was the 1 bathroom.

Great friendly service. Very helpful with any needs. Close to everything needed, including just steps to wonderful nightlife. Personal amenities like soap & shampoo high quality.

Noisy at odd hours. Heat in room difficult to control. Couldn't figure out TV or internet. (My car broken into close by, unfortunately. Still a very interesting eclectic neighborhood.)

I loved the location! Safe neighborhood, good restaurants and shops nearby, and half a mile from Frenchmen st!

I really should've rented a car because I wanted to see more of New Orleans. But that was a personal decision, and the facilities were outstanding!

The moment i walked in to the lobby i knew i was in the right place. But THEN you walk into the gated, colorful courtyard and and you're transended to a whole other world. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, bed very comfortable and our room cleaner DAWN was a lovely lady and takes pride in her rooms. We stayed in 308 and plan on returning in Oct to stay here again. This will be our new home away from home

There wasnt anything i didn't like. 5 star
