Excellent location, breakfast was great.

The bathroom wasn’t ideal. The sink was on the outside and it had a barn door which made a shared room a bit weird.

The breakfast was excellent, and the workout and pool areas were small but nicely kept and enjoyable. I also liked the security of the front doors being locked in the evening and night and the convenience of the little snack store area. Our room was tidied up several times during our 5 night stay, which was unexpected because I am used to minimal room maintenance during stays since the pandemic.

In our small studio-type room, the closet position and style made it feel even more cramped. Maybe hooks on the wall and a luggage holder would offer storage but make it feel more open. The elevator was slow and felt like it was old and may need to be updated for safety and ease of use.

The hotel is well located and the room was very comfortable. Additionally, the staff was really nice and helped me with everything I needed, exceeding my expectations. I also want to leave a special compliment to Irvin. He was very polite and professional. Without asking, he noticed an uncomfortable situation caused by another drunk guest who was at the reception at the same time as my friend and I, and the guy started to be undelicate with us. Irvin amazingly handled the situation without causing any disturbance and in a very professional manner to all the presents, including with the drunk guy.

One particular member of staff - Katie I believe her name is and I think management was particularly rude. Having approached the desk to ask a question she refused to look up or stop typing and when I waited and asked her if she was busy she rather rudely stated no she ‘was listening to me’ whilst continuing to type not even looking up . I gave up and waited until someone else was on duty who not only was able to give better customer service but who was just not plain rude!

Food was barely acceptable but you could eat any amount Paper plates and bowls were terrible and the spoons were kid size BUT the staff even though their english language was ZERO were nice and helpful The Office staff were very helpful indeed

The original mixup of Loyola street where we intended to stay and the one Holiday Express in the rear BUT that was fixed by the first try at Loyola St The Security man in the Foya was real helpfull indeed Big Smile too.Wife loved him?

The staff was so nice and very helpful especially when I had no parking spot in the back of the hotel even though I paid for parking. She accommodated me by finding a spot across the street and made sure that my car was secure.

The swimming pool is very, very, small. The outside area by the pool is not welcoming nor inviting nor comfortable. The chair in my room, 615, was shredded. The porcelain sink was broken and the beds were very, very, hard and uncomfortable. There was not an extra comforter or a blanket in the room to make the bed more comfortable. It would’ve also been nice to have at least a couple complementary waters. I also wasn’t very happy when I didn’t have a parking spot after coming home from a late night on Bourbon Street. Even though I paid for parking for my entire stay. I also think that there needs to be a dress code at breakfast. I don’t want to see people in their pajamas at the buffet.

we enjoyed the location and all the friendly staff. The hotel was pretty clean. Breakfast provided many options.

We had a leaking toliet and mold in our shower with no vent fan to help with moisture or odor. The pool had a ton of grit/dirt on the bottom and falling off the edges you touch. Needs a renovation. Bacon and pork sausage were often over cooked. Adding tortillas and cheese options to breakfast would be helpful for those not wanting plain scrambled eggs they could make a taco or wrap with the eggs.

The breakfast was good and the location was perfect for what we were in town for. Easy to get to the places we wanted to go, even with the incident that interrupted our visit. Congratulations to the staff for working with the guests after the act of terrorism.

There was not much more they could do, considering the circumstances that were presented to them, but they handled it like professionals and made it a lot easier to deal with.

The customer service providing by the general manager in this site . He is so professional and supportive.

everything was good except I had a fraud with booking.com and they hacked me with booking at the hotel but thankful for the General Manager at Holiday Inn who supported and encouraged me to go by my bank and dispute the issue . I don’t understand how booking.com can allow these things to happen with customers I mean fake accounts and people chatting and pretending they are booking.com
