It was easy to find driving in from I-95. The staff were very friendly and professional. Extremely helpful. The room was cozy and clean. 24 hour front desk staff availability was a great help for someone on their first trip to Maine.

An older hotel and the room smelled a little musty at first, but Lysol spray solved that. No other issues at all with the room. The parking lot is not lit and is very dark when the sun goes down. It needs to be better lit for the security and safety of guests moving about in the dark hours of the day. The breakfast was sufficient, but pretty basic, and options slim. Could do well with some meat additions.

Great location with ample parking. The continental breakfast was always well stocked and the staff were very friendly. Exterior doors were secure and the rooms were quiet at night. Attached restaurant has great baked goods.

The room was a bit musty but that may be from only recently reopening for the season. Price was a bit higher than I would expect for the type of hotel but there were limited options in the immediate area.

It was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast selection was varied and available very early in the morning for those of us who are early risers. I also appreciated the different places to sit comfortably outside the room, and I took advantage of the workout room treadmill. Overall, we had a good stay.

Unfortunately, the bed was too soft. The hotel needs new mattresses. And significant for me, the laundry soap was not fragrance free. I and many others are chemically sensitive. It would be really considerate and good business policy to use fragrance free detergents and cleaning supplies. The scent was not as strong as in other hotels, but bad enough to make sleeping less comfortable.

Had a very comfortable overnight stay, en route home. I'd stayed at the fireside inn many years ago, and they sell little stuffed moose/bears to raise money for cancer support. I bought one year's ago and another one this past stay. I think it's a wonderful fund raiser and item. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The room was spotlessly clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hallway rugs I found beautiful. There was even a bag of micro popcorn to enjoy if wanted. Lots of snacks and breakfast items to choose from in the lobby and take on the road if you wanted. The Governor's restaurant, which is attached to the Inn, served a very good dinner. I had the potroast, salad, beets, and feta, my friend had the meatloaf, mashed spuds. The waitress, service and staff were wonderful. Really hit the spot after a long day of traveling.

There is not a handcap ramp or ramp to roll your luggage up. 🤔 pool was closed, frozen over!!

This hotel has been a mainstay for us many times. IT is convenient to the highway, has a solid restaurant, close to shopping.

Climbing stairs is hard for us seniors. I know not everyone can stay on the main floor, but perhaps it would be helpful to make sure everyone knows the weird floor arrangements. Also, the outside door # 2, was not convenient for opening.

Beds were extremely comfortable. The room was clean and it was very quiet. The staff overall was friendly. The pool area and hot tub were clean and opened great hours. The ajoined restaurant made it great for easy service.

Staff was friendly for the most part. There were a few that were not polite. The set up of the Waterville Fireside Inn and Suites was odd. The stairs were chopped up thorughout the facility.

We loved the size of the room with the fireplace, the hot tub , the continental breakfast which was ample and varied , the attached Governors Restaurant which is DELICIOUS! This was an excellent place to stay , centrally located and very accommodating!

We stayed here for Colby graduation. It was close to campus, rooms were very clean, ac/heating unit was quiet, shower pressure was very good, rooms were a decent size, we brought our small dog, the staff was friendly.

The property is old and outdated. It sits in the middle of a shopping center.

Very comfortable motel with an attached “ihop-style” restaurant. The pool was exceptionally clean and inviting. The beds were comfortable and the coffee and selection of free breakfast items in the lobby was surprisingly nice.

The location is on the edge of town - near all the big box stores. It’s convenient if you’re coming from I-95 but not so convenient if you want to walk into town.

The bathroom was a little awkward. There were safety bars in the shower, which was perfect, but stepping over the tub was difficult. A tub cut out would have been much easier. The toilet was also extremely low.
