The hotel is only minutes from downtown Augusta and far enough away to avoid any major traffic congestion. Comfortable bed, plus our room had a nice TV and mini fridge. Great for a one or two night stay. Breakfast was good with lots of options and of course was free with an overnight stay. All in all a solid hotel.

Our sink in bathroom was a really slow drain. Make sure you bring your own water from a store for your fridge. The market in the hotel charges $3.50 per bottle. Yikes!!

The location worked for what we were doing in Maine. Breakfast was alright. The one thing for breakfast was that the coffee was horrible. Very strong, the last day of our stay my husband could not even drink it. Not sure if the brand they use is dark and bitter or the brewing method needs tweaking. The staff was exceptional. They were able to accommodate us with an early day arrival and kept us in the same room for the duration.

Loved the earlier check in and later check out. Didn't feel like we had to rush in the morning.

Breakfast was good though it would be nice if it went a little later like 10 am. Would've preferred to make own waffles instead of having them premade. They just get kind of soggy sitting in the pan.

Kudos to Eric (could be Ethan) Sampson for assisting us with unraveling an awkward reservation through Expedia and rebooking it through Marriott Bonvoy.

Location, breakfast, cleanliness.

Our room was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. The waffles for breakfast were prepackaged, but the best I have ever eaten! Nice breakfast all around. Good overall experience.

Pool wasn't heated, so we skipped it.

We had a king size bed but the comforter and top sheet were NOT king size!!! It was a constant battle each night for bedcovers!! The pillows were more suitable for a twin bed rather than a king

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The whole place was very clean. There were ample amenities and our room had a tub! It was good to have a soak after a long day.

Some updates are needed, as the place is very clean but there is obvious wear and tear that may be mistaken for being “dirty”. Understandable that would be the case post-Covid though and the whole experience was safe, quiet, comfortable and clean.

Comfy clean rooms. Nice greeting at the front desk. Very willing to help with extra blankets and towels. Lovely breakfast area with a very cheerful woman working the setup!

Last minute stay and they even accommodated us for an extra night due to weather! Great staff, clean and spacious rooms! Location was perfect!

The hotel was easily located. The check in was easy and the fellow was so nice! The room was clean, the bathroom spotless. Breakfast was excellent and well done. It was an outstanding experience and is now our new go-to spot when we’re in the area and are staying overnight.
