I loved the location just far enough away from the city but an easy travel to many restaurants and shopping stores. I'm a bit of a cookie monster and of course I couldn't resist the cookie jar that was provided I had two ok four cookies,the home made breakfast made it feel as if we were home very delicious We even purchased some local art that was hanging in the dining hall we went with the barn scene from the inn to always remember our stay. We only stayed one night so we didn't take advantage of the sauna or hot tub but you can be assured we will be back to enjoy these Thank you for making us feel so welcome on our little get away

Scott and Vince made me feel so very welcome. It felt like a home away from home. Most amazing breakfasts, bar service as needed, thoughtful touches everywhere, great art, cats to play with so I didn't miss mine so much, and the beautiful scenery especially from the front porch all made for a very relaxing vacation.

That I couldn't stay forever!!

This was the best stay in our cross country trip. The owners were friendly and helpful during our stay. Rooms were spacious and the bed was comfortable. The maid cleaned the room and stocked it with fresh linens and towels daily. The best part was the breakfast!! Several choices each day and all were delicious. Great place for a meeting/ retreat, a wedding or just exploring Maine like we were as the peaceful surroundings of the farm made this very serene and beautiful experience.

The best part about the property was it just felt like home. I absolutely adored the two gentlemen who run it, extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and just all-around good people!

I’d say if I had to pick something, it would be the hospitality items in the bathroom lol the Calgon bubble bath might need some updating to maybe something a little less harsh and a little more friendly. ;) I’d say the only other Thing would be the thread count on the sheets, they were kind of scratchy

It’s a wonderful place with charming atmosphere and feels like home. The e bed was sooo comfortable for someone with back issues, not a problem here at all. The owner was so nice and personable. He made sure our romantic getaway was perfect. We enjoyed sipping drinks by the fire with an adorable cat, the sauna, a home cooked breakfast made, and especially the jacuzzi tub. The cats just made feel like home. Everyone should stay here at least once, but you can’t have room 8 when I want it.

There’s nothing I didn’t like.

I had expected the breakfast to be like a continental, however when I saw the menus on the tables and read the offerings I was in disbelief. It was a well thought out menu with something for everyone. If wee ordered this breakfast at any restaurant it would have been $30 easy for the two of us. Scott and Vincent excell at their hospitality and its very easy to see why they have remained in business for over 30 years. I have traveled worldwide on trips on I have won thru sales, and you won't find a better place , with better people that want nothing more than to make your visit a joy. I have been handing out their cards to all my friends and telling them if they want a special place to get away from the stress or chaos of life, to rebuild your relationship with your other half, or just to enjoy serenity there is not a better place I can recommend, and I have never handed out cards before. Hats off to these guys for creating such a place and keeping it so welcoming and stress free in such a world we fund ourselves in today. P.S. did I mention they have a common kitchen and in the fridge was shelves of deserts like bread pudding and cherry cobbler etc that are complimentary as you want even a can of whip cream to top off.

My only recommendation and I mentioned it to Vincent who was the chef, among other duties I am sure, was that they should put out a bowl of sliced lemons for the ice water and the hot teas.

A gem of a place just outside Augusta...was a beautiful place, very clean and comfortable. Close enough to town...but far enough for a very quiet relaxing experience. The staff was amazing...very friendly. The room was very cozy...the breakfast was amazing!! The place was just amazing and can't wait to visit again!

The only knock I could possibly have...and I'd be reaching...is that the shower could have been better...but I like a shower that feels like a firehose!

Wow, what a place and what a host! Scott was brilliant from start to finish, giving us a tour of the property, always there for our daft questions and to assist. Breakfast was lovely, French toast with amazing Maine potatoes. Beautiful setting, wildlife (including the 2 real bosses, the cats! 😁), and property.

Nothing!

The quiet location was perfect just 15 minutes from everything, the room was the perfect size and we loved the jet tub! Scott is clearly very proud of the Inn and what they do and the love they have for it shows all over the place.

The bed was a bit firm for us, but that’s mostly a matter of preference.

Definitely the best Bed & breakfast in Maine! Scott is super welcoming and the Maple Hill Farm is a great warm and cozy place, where you literally feel like at home! Needless to mention its ideal location to discover all Maine’s attractions. And the natural environment around the hotel (nice to see the Monarch butterfly back there 🤗).
