It is hard to understand why this hotel gets so many negative feedbacks. My experience was a totally different one: Check-in was prompt, smooth and efficient. There was no strange food or other smell anywhere in the building. The room was large and clean, towels, shampoo, toilet paper etc were provided and everything was fully functional. As some reviews mentioned that there wasn’t any cooking equipment, cutlery, glasses, plates in the kitchen: this is correct BUT there is a clear note onnthe table that such SANITISED items will be delivered to the room upon contacting reception, s solution I favour rather than using half cleaned items left from a previous guest. The area is quiet as it is an area where many hotels are located but still Boston city and airport are only a 30 min drive away. From the hotel there are also walking paths through Prospect Hill Park with fine views over Boston skyline and bay. Restaurants in walking distance and large food market 5 min drive. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

I liked the room in general. It’s nice, clean and spacious. The bathroom is also really nice.

I didn’t like the checkout time, my husband and I arrived later than expected to check in and we were really exhausted from the trip so someone came at our room exactly 11am and it was really annoying and rude because we would have liked to be considered as we arrived so late and needed some time to gather our bags and check out so that was a negative for us.

For the price it was excellent value. While the property is a little run down it’s clear they’re renovating and new air conditioning and painting was being done while I was there. The staff were incredibly helpful and I found the manager Katie to be very attentive and friendly.

There’s not a lot in the area by way of restaurants or supermarkets, the kitchen supplies are sparse and as a smoker a covered area with a bench would be very welcome as there were a number of smokers staying there. Also the Wi-Fi that I paid to have higher speed wasn’t great and my partner was working from the property so it wasn’t ideal for him.

Should be rated higher than is in "booking." Problem with the odors of cooking in rooms, but, if you close the door to bathroom and open window a crack, there is little problem. We have stayed at 7 Air BnBs in Newton area and for the price, this beats the all.

The only food available was one chocolate muffin or dry packets of oatmeal. No juice, fruit, bread, etc. No coffee maker or coffee is provided in room. No dishes or pots and pans. Not even a stopper for the sink. They cost more. Slow internet is free and sufficient for web access. To stream costs additional $$.

Front Desk person was awesome. Saw someone tired after a long drive and could not be more pleasant than she was. 5 Stars for her.

Was a bit disappointed in the room. The bath tub needed some updating (caulking needed some work). The kitchen area needed to be wiped down a bit better (seats has something spilled at one time and needed to be wiped clearly.

Liked being out of the city and into the quiet

The room had some things that were falling apart and coming loose. Bathroom cabinet wasn't secure and almost broke my toe, toliet seat was so loose I thought it was going to fall off

Deluxe studio was very fairly priced, spacious. Though there weren't even a couple disposable plastic cups. No ice bucket, but there was an apartment sized fridge with a couple ice trays. No coffee maker. Otherwise, a nice room.
