It was an exceptional stay… my room was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. I especially appreciated the very good WiFi, plenty of towels, treats offered in the room (I needed a snack upon arrival); and, I liked the window dressings, which provided the quiet and privacy that I needed. The staff was helpful and engaging. I was not able to attend breakfast, but I hope to try it out next time I am in Williamstown for business.

Only comment is: Next upgrade to the property might include an easier friendly bathroom sink- - I realize space is probably a concern, but it was a bit difficult to use.

Rooms were clean and meticulous. Loved the attention to the small details, Hersey kisses, cinnamon rolls for the morning, Beekman goat milk soap (not cheap!) The continental breakfast was perfect and well thought out. Plenty of options! The innkeepers are so nice and friendly! We enjoyed the conversation with one of the innkeepers while we enjoyed our breakfast. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. So many great options for sitting and enjoying the beautiful gardens and views! The pool is beautiful and also meticulously maintained. (Picky pool owner here!) Such pride of ownership and it shows!

Nothing negative at all!

Our room was nice and very clean. It was also quite spacious. We had a quiet room. The motel is conveniently located to the university and the old part of Williamstown. The breakfast room is in the reception area and cosy. Thus I think it is easy to get to know other guests and to chat if one is up to this. It was a relaxed atmosphere. Our hosts were very nice. The motel has a well kept garden. Thus I guess in summertime it is even more fun to stay there.

We had a really pleasant stay. I cannot criticize anything. The breakfast was very good. There were beagles and toast and fruit etc. The only thing I suggest is to also offer some natural joghourt for someone who cannot eat sugar.

I did not participate in breakfast but t it was offered. It is a beautiful location. The rooms were very well maintained. You have access to a small refrigerator, microwave, ironing board, hair dryer and toiletries. Very clean. They have a heated pool with a fire pit and chairs around it. The landscaping is beautiful. So well maintained. I would recommend this precious finding to everyone.

Small size motel on beautiful grounds. The pool’s bucolic setting is stunning. Friendly and very efficient owner. The room was very clean and comfortable; all the amenities were thoughtfully displayed. Perfect location to visit Mass MoCA. Half-priced tickets to the Clark Art Institute :-)

The air conditioning unit was too loud to keep running at night.

The motel owners were the nicest people. Our room was large and beautiful; the bathroom was so clean it looked brand new. Breakfast was perfect; continental, so no hot, but bagels, my favorite and blueberry muffins. The coffee was hot and great. Lots of information on the town and where to visit. The pool was also exceptionally clean and pretty.

We liked everything. Talked about the motel to others we met too. It really was perfect.

It was absolutely the best stay I had in Massachusetts while moving my daughter into Williams College. Very friendly owner! It's really a hidden gem. Gardens, amazing CLEAN pool. Fire pit is such a nice touch. The bed and bedding were great, so soft and comfortable. Great price. You honestly can't beat it! We will definitely be coming back when we come for a visit to see my daughter!! Thank you so much to the owner for that wonderful stay!!

The outdoor property is beautiful with a big lawn, fire pit, lots of Adirondack chairs and picnic tables, decent pool, corn hole, dog friendly. The room was clean and beds / pillows were very comfy. Dog treats were waiting in the room for our buddy. 😊 Very friendly, accommodating owner.

The bathroom was clean but fixtures are old and the shower head was difficult to regulate. Updated bathroom and carpeting would have made the room an A+.

The view out the back window, nice places to site outdoors. The host's offer to rebook us elsewhere when a storm resulted in a power outage.

We were rebooked (due to power outage) in a much inferior, older, shabbier motel. It would have been courteous to rebook us in a place of comparable quality. Also on the hot days we were at the Maple Terrace, the pool was quite warm.

This place is great: spotless, comfortable beds, good linens, good towels, gracious owners, free WiFi, perfectly located for a Williams college visit or to see the town and a free, fresh, simple breakfast spread. Skip the chain and support a local business that is doing everything right!
