Vervana is a beautifully decorated, modern, renovated GEM in the town of Bennington, VT, near the NY border. The minute you step into the lobby, you sense you made the right choice! Very nicely decorated lobby with modern furniture and tasteful accessories. Also, the staff is wonderful- very friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were beautiful and spacious with comfortable beds, quality linens, a large fridge, and gorgeous bathrooms. Rooms are all very quiet and our exterior room had a balcony with a view of the pool. The large outdoor pool is a huge bonus on a hot summer day. Our family enjoyed lounging and reading poolside. The property also has nice gardens, paths and a gazebo. Outdoor space could use a bit more care: trimming & pruning but it's Vermont and wildflowers grow everywhere. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel and staff. No breakfast is available but a take a short walk to the Sunnyside Diner for a delicious, quality breakfast. I'm not a greasy spoon kind of person but I was REALLY impressed with the quality, # of options and the friendly staff.

Gardens can be better maintained. No bottled water at checkout bc they ran out otherwise but no issues.

Location was right on Main Street and walking distance to downtown. Nice big room with comfortable bed.

We couldn’t find the motel! The signs by the road just say the name but the motel is hidden so it took us two turn around an until we found it! Please put an arrow or something directing where to go up the hill and behind the building in front of the motel. The bathroom was remodeled but the shower drain backed up as we showered it drained slow after the water was shut off. The same with the sink. There is no breakfast available which did t bother us since we walked to the local diner down from the motel. Laminate wood flooring is nice but it felt dirty like it hadn’t been swept eso I had to wear socks after showering. Maybe swifter mop the floors between each visit to help with the dirt.

Didn't know breakfast was included. Little glitch checking in, but all worked out in the end. Very clean updated room!!

Would have liked someone there when we went to check in. We had to leave for a family outing, but i was able to get checked in by phone and when we got back to the lobby our key was waiting for us (that could have been a disaster if someone had gotten there ahead of our return...our key and receipt was taped to the inside of the lobby door...anyone could have used it before we got back, since there was no way to prove idenity), like I said, it all worked out in the end.

Hotel Vervana location is close to the town of Bennington and North Bennington. Hotel Vervana is walking distance to the Bennington Museum, Bennington Monument and more. The beds are fresh, crisp and the mattresses are comfortable. Their towels are fresh, absorbent and fluffy. The rooms are clean and comfortable, including, refrigerator, tv, and a coffee maker. There is an unexpected, Private, oasis of beautiful grounds around the back, including a swimming pool. One of the owners communicated with me to ensure all was clear with my reservation. Thank you Shiv. You are a true professional, with top notch care. We had late arrival and Cliff left everything with perfect instructions.

Driving into the parking lot is not representative of what Hotel Vervana rooms and grounds are like. My first impression was disappointing. The walls are a bit thin. We could hear the people in the next room easily. This would not prevent us from visiting again though.

The rooms and property have undergone a recent renovation and is looking good. I noticed work outside on landscaping and walkways still continuing. It’s nice to see an investment being made on older hotel and not letting it fall into disrepair while still trying to operate. The king bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean.

There was no soda or snack machines yet but because of that the office provided complimentary water bottles.

We stayed there for Thanksgiving. Conveniently located on Main Street heading into Bennington VT. The place looks like it was recently remodeled, the room was large and clean. Nice balcony, overlooking the backyard. Keurig coffee machine located in the lobby, made it so I didn't have to go out for coffee. Nice stay, nice price. The place was pretty quiet shich was great. We ate at the Four Chimney Inn on Thanksgiving which I recommend as well. AAA+++ rating.

The receptionist called us to explain how to find the building and how to find our hotel keys and even gave us his phone number if we had questions. It was very helpful.

Our stay was great. The only thing I would suggest is to have a big sign that says where the entrance of the lobby is. That wasn’t obvious, especially at night. It takes 5 minutes to find the hotel but, something to consider.

The property was super cute and great location! The room was clean and comfortable. We loved the balcony.

The person I spoke to on the phone was extremely kind and helpful. The rest of the front desk staff wasn’t very friendly. We were also really disappointed that the pool was closed and we didn’t know that beforehand.

Room seemed brand new, shower was delightful.. Cliff was so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable

Which it had continental breakfast ..But because it was just acquired we think just not available as of yet ..As also more signage to come

Room was HUGE, we couldn’t believe it when we checked in. Early check in wasn’t a problem. there was a balcony which was lovely. surrounded by green and still conveniently located.

staff was nice and the stay was good, but they double charged us for the room and refused to refund us when we contacted them via Booking after our stay. It was a bit of a hustle to get our money back but luckily, booking refunded our money.
