The pool and hot tub where amazing. It was clean and warm, atmosphere was nice, quiet and relaxing, pool and hotel. Felt safe and welcome. Beds and pillows where comfortable and clean.

We stayed in room 119 the only thing that I can say for improvement was the ceiling in our bathroom looked a little rough maybe from water leaking? Exhaust fan in our bathroom didnt work I believe there was one in there. There was a vent in ceiling above tub that was pretty dusty. Also while lifting the garbage bag out of black trash can by sink there was a smell, looking inside I noticed the bottom of the trash can was wet and had a used Q-tip in it, im assuming from the previous occupant.

Free parking in downtown Grand Haven near shops, restaurants, waterfront parks and beaches. We brought our folding chairs and enjoyed staying cool under a shade tree with our books on a breezy 90 degree day. Took breaks to walk the waterfront trail to Lake Michigan beach and lighthouse and also visited thriving downtown business district.

Hotel needs to continue to make facilities improvements. What they have done for the comfort of their guests is appreciated. We learned we will need to request 1st floor room in future, no elevator to 2nd floor and we struggled with stairs at our age.

We loved the staff at the front desk and the property was clean and well taken care of. The breakfast was very nice. Large variety of everything. And the dining room attendants were super nice and accommodating.

We arrived on a Friday and checked out on the following Wednesday. It says every three days housekeeping would come in to replace towels and sheets. We had no housekeeping the whole time. Even though I asked for clean towels and the garbage emptied twice while we were there. I had to get garbage bags from the front desk and let the garbage pile up under the sink. I’m hoping this was just an oversight or poor communication. Because we loved staying here and want to come back again. It would have been okay if there were somewhere to hang towels to dry. They did not dry in the bathroom.

The room and bed were very comfortable, and the hot breakfast was a great plus! Loved the location and easy access to shopping, restaurants, and downtown Grand Haven (and, of course, the wonderful Lake Michigan shoreline). Parking was very convenient, as were the pool and other amenities. Will stay here again!

Even though the room was kept at a nice temperature, the bed was right next to the wall heater and the window curtain kept floating up on the bed, which was a bit annoying at times. Perhaps using little weights to keep the curtains down might help. Just a thought.

A very pleasant and clean place, the pool looked very nice but we didn't try it, we were only there for one night. A very good breakfast in the morning with eggs, bacon, pancakes and lots of other things.

The shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty after one use, but let the housekeeper know and they got it taken care of. Thought there was no hot water at first when we began to run the shower but realized the hot and cold were backward, it was a great shower once we figured that out!

The motel is clean and comfortable, staff are courteous and friendly. The only one thing we disliked was that there were about 15 teenagers with no adult supervision in the pool area, running, screaming, using profanity and seriously compromising the safety of everyone. My wife and small kids were hit in the head with an outdoor football. More oversight and safety enforcement is needed for the pool. I would stay again, but I would not be inclined to visit the pool again.

They give us enough towels, there were drawers for me to put things in, a sizeable refrigerator and microwave.. breakfast was very good. The location is right on the main drag so we could get anywhere in town within 10 minutes.

Checking in. They only had one clerk. At a major Festival like this. There are a lot of people coming in and it takes quite a while. They knew need two staffers

Everything. I got a good deal on a room for $66 at the last minute. The place was decorated very nicely for Halloween/fall. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast had tons of options. The hotel and hot tub were both very clean. Comfortable bed. The bed linens were very comfortable. Dove supplies in the bathroom 10/10!!

There is nothing negative that I could say. One thing that might bother some people was there was no clock in the room. But I didn’t care about that. I had my telephone to use as an alarm.

The hotel was conveniently located not far from the state park. The facility was clean. They offered breakfast in the morning, which was your standard hotel breakfast. My party enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The bad was comfortable with clean New bedding, and nice fluffy pillows. Shower worked well. Property had a refrigerator in the room. It’s just a major plus.

Property was overpriced for a holiday weekend. Property was rather loud you could hear people walking above us. Area of the hotel is very busy, high traffic roads

I was concerned by the reviews, but we were very comfortable and pleased. Nice little spot to take the dog out, there is a sidewalk up front so we went on a nice walk. We are used to busier roads so that didn't bother us. Breakfast was as expected, they had a cool pancake machine the kid liked. The room was a good size, sink outside the washroom which I prefer so we can multi-task. We were there for a beach wresting tournament and will book there again next year.

If I didn't mind stairs, I would ask for 1st floor as there is no elevator.
