La Quinta near the airport in Detroit is a great value compared to the downtown locations that cost twice as much. The front desk staff and housekeeping were very friendly, the building is basic, but parking is easy and I was even able to jog to a public park not a mile away. The room was clean and comfy and insulated from other noises. I have a pet peeve for room doors that slam at hotels if you don't close them gently, but this was not an issue here. Also, there are a few eating choices within walking distance, including coincidentally a Taco Bell where AI took my order and it was the fastest drive through fast food experience of my life.

For what I paid and the location, I don't have any complaints or suggestions for improvement.

Fast check in,clean room,comfortable bed, slept real good,love the coffee maker in the room,excellent breakfast and it's choices, love the waffles, excellent coffee,friendly staff,love the young man who checked me out,very nice .Will be there soon for another stay from April 16-17for same room,the king,but only negative thing was the hairdryer in my room was overheating heating and The coils were glowing orange ,it's a fire hazard and needs to be replaced asap

They put us away from other rooms because it was Movement time in Detroit and my boyfriend is a DJ and wanted to practice. It was super cool of them. And the staff was amazingly cool!!

The carpets in the hallway need a good cleaning, the elevator is super slow, and the walls in our room needed a cleaning and the counters had dust all over them. They need to get a better cleaning staff for sure. But all in all we enjoyed our stay!

Staff was accommodating, and the price was great. The location was even better. I come to Detroit to visit grandkids. This hotel was 6 mins away. Highway was right there. I will always use la Quinta when I come to visit. Plus, the beds are comfortable. I have a bad back, so that's a plus

I was missing the essential things in my room. I only had 1 towel, no batteries in the remote again, and it's a little outdated. But again, staff was accommodating

Staff is exceptionally nice, greeted us warmly. They are very professional & always respectful. We stay every year at this place, & honestly, look forward to our return trips!

The staff was friendly, room was super clean, and its location is close by Detroit for events and local bars and restaurants which is really nice.

There was some confusion on how to operate the television but we managed to figure it out.

Very friendly & accommodations were exceptional! We've booked the same hotel for 6 yrs, & have never had any mishaps, or bad experiences. We will continue to book with this hotel for yrs to come 😊

Breakfast met most of my nutritional needs, the location was perfect for quick and easy access to the interstate.

Great location, easy access to Freeway and shopping. Great internet connection.

The parking lot had a lot of potholes. Not a fan of Carpeting.TV shot down every so often for no reason.

Overall, everything was fabulous!!

Not a lot of stores super close that there are to walk to. But if you have a car, you can get most anywhere.
