Walking distance to everything, Lewis the desk clerk upon check in and out. His sincere smile made us Southern visitors feel welcome there. He went above and beyond getting cooking pans to warm up our leftovers. Now we know they are not supplied at all these type of facilities. Apple Valley is a very nice area. Felt safe. Able to walk and get all the supplies we needed. Breakfast was good. 3 full days there any longer we would have left due to jack hammers. Will ask from now on upon check in.

Construction noices 3 stories up from street. Autumns' inability to answer simple questions. Communication issues for sure. The kitchen wasn't clean. Dishwasher full of dishes even though they don't supply kitchen items ? Ice bucket had trash in it. Fridge door on wrong side. Very rough looking bathroom floors. Needs some love. The housekeeping supervisor needs to check. Think they must give booking.com the worst or leftovers. The pool was tiny. There was only 1 working wash machine. No juice 3 days we were there.

The weekend staff was amazing! Right at check in she even answered my daughter's questions on the amenities. Breakfast on Sunday was great. The staff was efficient in keeping everything stocked and clean. I was impressed with the coffee, not the usual watered down kind it was delicious. Pool and room were what we expected, which was great.

Monday at 8 am someone opened the door to our room peeked in then closed it. This freaked out my daughter who was on the rollaway couch. I can only assume it was housekeeping although they didn't say anything. Breakfast was terrible especially after the day before it being so great. We came down at 9 it was dirty. There were other people who had already asked for plates and coffee to be restocked. Trash was overflowing and the person that got the plates, refilled that and left again with all the other issues in the room. It was disappointing but we did enjoy the previous morning. The room only had one remote for the tvs but it wasn't that big of a deal.

Great location in Apple Valley. Plenty of free parking. Nice staff. Check-in was easy. The King Suite with jacuzzi tub is a huge space. There's a living area, kitchenette, bedroom with a comfy king size bed, and jacuzzi tub in the corner near the bathroom area. The jacuzzi tub had two jets, and they put a TV near that area to enjoy while you soak. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. Overall, a very decent place for the cost. They do offer breakfast from 6-10am, but I did not check it out.

The hotel is getting a bit dated - just with some random cracks in flooring, and barely there decor. Felt a bit industrial in the room. The room above me must've had elephants practicing for a circus because that's all I could hear for hours.

I JUST LOVED ♥️THE STAY @ GRAND STAY . NICE CLEAN COMFORTABLE BEDROOM/LIvING ROOM WITH KITCHEN PLENTY OF GOOD CHANNELS TO WATCH ON TV. A sSTOVE TO COOK MEALS OK & FRIDGE TO KEEP MY BEVERAGES COLD. (WATER, MILK, POP OR JUICE.) I REALLY ENJOYED MY STAY @ GRAND STAT AMEN.🙏

CHECKING IN EARLIER THAN 3PM COLD HAVE BEEN BETTER AND I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHEN CAN I QUALIFY TO EARN A FREE ROOM @ GRAND STAY CONFIDENCE APPLE VALLEY, MINNESOTA GOD BLESS.🙏

Room was comfortable and clean. One of the tv’s in our room didn’t work but the new GM came up right away and couldn’t fix but as soon as his maintenance guy came in he came up and fixed it in two minutes! Very impressed with the new GM!

Big event going on in the conference center so no parking for actual hotel guests, kids running wild in the hallways from the event, not staying at the hotel!

They had an elevator, which made it easy to carry everything to the 2nd floor. The room was huge and the bed was super comfy!

The couch bed was broken, the microwave didnt work well, no silverware but they provided plates, holes in bathroom door, the shower made a super loud screeching sound while being on and the jacuzzi tub jets need a deep deep clean.

Breakfast wasn’t bad.

The permanent old lady resident, with the walker. Kinda rude, for the brief elevator ride. She was too stubborn to move her walker, to all guests into the elevator. Guests had to maneuver around her, because she was blocking the elevator door. Hard time figuring out the lights & getting the TVs to work. I’d bet, lights were burned out. Room 223 would have standing water in the bathtub, after 2 minutes of showering.

The location worked for me because my friends were just blocks away. The gentleman at the front desk was so helpful and informative.

The breakfast was so so and the dining area was always looking like it needed to be swept and cleaned. The rooms lacked ambiance and decorations but all I needed was the basics so it worked for me.

The property is in a great location, staff was friendly and helpful. Price of the room was affordable. Pool was warm and comfortable to swim in. Breakfast had a great variety and stayed well stocked throughout breakfast hours. Water pressure in the shower was great. Room amenities were more than necessary (dishes/dishwasher, full fridge/freezer). Loved the black out curtain options.

You could not control the room temperature. Extra blankets for pull out were unavailable. There was no place to hang wet clothes/towels. Ice machine was only on first floor (4 floors total).

Breakfast was a plus and had good variety and consistent being brought out as items were finishing. Great location! I loved that restaurants, grocery stores and attractions were close by. We were there for soccer tournaments so not too far from fields. Very quiet stay. Upon arriving at front desk (Dominic) was helpful and polite to guests arriving and needing assistance. At checkout, the lady was also patient and helpful during the rush of guests checking out.

Only downfall was there wasn’t change available for vending machines and to do laundry. Also there was only one ice machine on main floor. When we arrived in room, it wasn’t a big deal as there was a fridge with ice maker in room, a big plus!
