Easy to find a in a quiet area. The folks at the desk were very friendly and very helpful. Room is somewhat small, but is sufficient, with bed, sofa, desk, TV. The facilities are older and dated, but kept very clean and management has added little homey touches, like friendly notes about services, that personalize and make the room more welcoming. The air conditioning worked great on a very hot day. Easy access from parking to the room. No breakfast, but for the savings in room rate, you can afford a rather nice breakfast elsewhere. I would definitely stay again.

I guess if I had to come up with one complaint, it would be the size of the room, although this was really not a concern for me. I had sufficient space to sleep, work, and clean up.

It was so quiet! The walls are cinder block, which makes it look old-fashioned, but I like absolute quiet to sleep, so for me it was perfect. You can tell it's a family-run business and that they care about the details. I was pleased with my choice and I would stay here again.

It's an older facility, so it looks dated. (Remember those dark pink tubs from the 70s?) The rooms are smaller and feel a little crowded with furniture. But honestly, I don't care about any of that. I just want a good night's sleep in a quiet, safe, clean hotel, and that's what I got.

I loved how the gentleman knew who I was when I checked out. Very friendly staff. Nice rooms for the most part. I like how the lights get turned on with the key and then pull it to turn them off. Great hot water.

All the furniture made the room feel tight. I think the couch could be replaced with just chairs and an end table removed. The price was higher than I paid for three nights at Blackhawk. So the price is kindof high.

Comfortable bed, convenient location. They are upgrading their TV's and if you wish a DVD player they their Booking as mentions you will have to ask for one and they will hook it up to the TV. The manager is very personable and explains their upgrades very well. We were happy with our stay.

The signage for the location of the office is lacking. We pulled off the street to what appeared to be a front door and found it was just entered a hallway. After diving around the north side of the building we found the sign that said lobby.

For what the hotel is, it’s great. Clean and comfortable. The owner is incredibly kind. He checked me in and explained everything to me, then he was there at check out, too, and called me by name and gave me a water. There was a very cute hand towel in a glass by the sink, and a nice placard, too. Good amenities as in a working fridge, great ac, a coffee maker, a good tv and the decor/bedspread were tasteful. It’s not the fanciest place in the world but for what it is it’s excellent.

The staff at the front desk was friendly and accommodating, the room was extremely clean, there's plenty of lighting and outlets for devices, and the TV is set up so you can sign into a variety of different streaming services.

There were no heating controls in the room, so we were not able to adjust the temperature. It was sometimes uncomfortably warm during our stay.

The hotel has been updated in a very smart way...some of the old fixtures that are still perfectly good and in good repair are in place, but everything else is fresh, updated and comfortable.

Our bed was supposed to be a queen bed, but it was a full sized bed. It was very comfortable, just a bit smaller than we were expecting.

When we got to our room it was already warm and it stayed that way without having to fuss with the heat. Not usually the case when traveling. The room was nicely decorated and clean, the carpet looked new. Controls for the tv, coffee maker etc were labeled and worked! Lots of pillows for when you want to sit up in bed and watch tv. Best in room coffee I have had. I would go out of my way to stay here again.

The only negative was Mother Nature, she froze the melting snow in the parking lot.

We really liked where this hotel was located. It was easy to find the hotel. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly. On checkout, they even gave us 2 bottles of water because the weather was supposed to be so hot. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

The only thing we didn't really like was there was nothing on TV except Netflix but that still wasn't too bad. We got to watch movies for free.

Great detailed instructions, love the improvements to the property like extra outlets, coffee was fantastic. Bottles of water after handing over access cards really showed the owners family kindness.

A/C was situated low in the property, took just a short time to get cold but really wasn’t much of an issue
