We had a work event down the street at Gunstock. Location was perfect distance. Room was beautiful! It was larger than a normal motel room by far. Well appointed with FREE snacks and extra blankets and plenty of pillows. We had a gorgeous view of lake and mountains and the back area which had a huge firepit. The staff was friendly and had a bonus treat of meeting Chloe the furry greater when we arrived. The next morning we strolled 10 steps to the coffee bar and had a delicios Vanilla Latte-my first one :) I would highly recommend this place.

Not a thing!

The property is well maintained, the rooms are very cute! The bed was very comfortable! The landscaping is beautiful and the view is amazing! They offer 2 gas fire places out back with a cute sitting area! The staff is pleasant and helpful! The staff checked in with us prior to arrival! Great water pressure and plenty of hot water!

The only complaint we had was the particular room we had was small and there was little to no place to unpack our clothes for the week! The other down fall is that the building is old and there is no access to the second floor other than stairs.

Too Perfect for a skier. I arrived after dark. Friendly welcome at desk. Has very attractive, tasteful style, though no hottub for aprés ski. I was so happy to find a bathtub to soak in. Figuring out how to turn the water on was a challenge. I got blissfully enfolded in the king bed and when i woke up first thing i saw was the jawdropping million dollar view. Heaven on earth.

They didn't provide breakfast. Although there was plenty of coffee day and night. I was shocked when I got to my room and found rags to wipe our motorcycles down with and a basket of snacks on the dresser. The staff was very friendly as well as the other people that were staying at the hotel. It had. A great view out on the back patio. The reason that we went down was for bike week. We had breakfast twice in Guilford At the country cook n at the lakeside. The staff at the restaurant was very friendly and couteous and the food was awesome. For the people that like to hike. There are many scenic views in the area as well. As hiking trails.

There's really nothing that I can say. I didn't like. I would definitely stay at the gun stock inn again.

Gorgeous view. Nicely-appointed rooms with easy access. Great to have a refrigerator and some dishes. Complementary snacks and waters a nice touch.

Dropped something and while looking for it to have possibly fallen under the bed found two pieces of clothing from previous guest(s). Since the room was clearly stocked with some food preparation supplies, it could have been set up better so that two people could sit at a table-like surface together.

The view, decor and facilities were great. Our bed too firm for our liking but we really liked the contact-less check in/out process and the hotel was happy to accommodate an earlier check in for us on short notice. Did I mention the view?! It's amazing!

The hotel is a little out of the way and it's a least a 10 minute drive back into town. But the front desk had information on ride services, restaurants, and things to do, which we thought was nice.

Incredible(!) view in the lovely back yard seating area... mountains/lake... stunning really. We could have sat out there in the lovely September morning sun forever looking out that way. Our room was not facing that way, but it didn't matter... there's a balcony facing that way which is shared, or you can sit down in the lawn area on that beautiful side... there's also a firepit there.

Lobby was lovely looking but smelled like cat pee?

The deck/ porch was MONEY!!! Newly renovated and the view… breathtaking!! Our room was newly renovated and had a NH birch tree theme, so pretty ! Loved the floors ! ( no carpet… yuck!!) Everything was updated, clean and new!! Back guest patio ( shared space) was beautiful! Didn’t get to enjoy it because of rain, but would love to come back just to sit by the fire in front of the view!!

A few thoughts… room could definitely use a full length mirror ( we went out to dinner and I wanted to see my outfit ), kcup machine in room instead of a fryer ( I had to leave my room to go get a cup in the shared kitchen area), small battery tea lights were all out. Would have liked to have had them to light ( it was a cool, gloomy day), a lightbulb in bathroom was out, the towel rack needed to be fixed, it fell off the wall when I dried my hands.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at the Gunstock a couple of years ago as well as recently and the desk attendant was the same guy both times, and he went out of his way to be friendly and helpful. We were staying there after traveling from Canada so any insight into the local area was appreciated.

LOVED THE CLEANLINESS! Rare at the big chains and it's a testament to the commitment of the innkeepers here and the pride they take in their work... I would have loved to have rated everything five stars, unfortunately, I came in late so didn't interact with anyone else. The economy dictates the cost was a little hard to swallow, but that is obviously not the fault of the inn but Biden-flation breaking the backs of small business owners and customers alike... I'd stay here again anytime. Beautiful, peaceful place and grounds. Would've loved to stay longer but alas! Back to the grind...

Didn't like the cost, obviously, inflated like everything else these days but that's unavoidable until we can get an anti-Communist back in the WH...
