Friendly staff. Location. Easy parking. Spacious room. Clean.

Stairs to 2nd floor were unexpectedly steep - with no elevator option (especially for those who would need it for heavier luggage or health issues). Bathroom lighting is awful - definitely needs to be upgraded so that anyone who wears make-up or needs to do their hair for an event, can actually see themselves clearly in good light without walking out of the room looking like a drag queen or clown. I booked 2 rooms with lake view. First-floor room had views of the parking lot. 2nd-floor room had partial views of the lake.

I booked 2 king rooms with lake views. I thought we'd be next door (or within a few doors) to each other. However, one room was upstairs with a partial lake view and the other room was on the main level with a view of the parking lot. If you have issues with stairs, request a room on the main floor - but be aware that even if you book a lake view room, you may end up with zero views or a view of the parking lot. The room prices should be reflective of the view - in my opinion. So, I don't believe the price I paid for one of the rooms (with a parking lot view) was worth the money charged.

The location was convenient with several stores and restaurants either walkable or very nearby. The staff was fantastic! We complained about noise from the room above and they immediately moved our room to the top floor while being apologetic and very kind. My husband said the bagels in the morning were very good.

The noise from Route 25 was noticeable, especially a fair amount of loud motorcycles. The bathroom was small and I found the shelf space lacking with only one long shelf above the sink approx 6 inches wide, the sink surround had barely room to set a toothbrush down, no soap dish, the fan barely worked and the towels were not overly soft/thick - and I wish they had a makeup mirror. There was no full length mirror in the room. There was a large rectangular mirror on one wall and, as I'm tall, it was good enough to see most of my outfit once dressed, but anyone shorter would have a hard time! No safe in the room. Though my husband found his breakfast of bagel, bacon and eggs to be good, my bacon was barely cooked and the eggs seemed to be powdered/fake.

Hotel was clean and comfortable and in a nice location on the lake. I was worried about getting there around midnight and not having staff available, but they make it easy for you to access your room even if you come in that late. Air conditioning was great but Had a motion sensor so it would not run at night while we were sleeping so I would have to get up and move around to click it back on again. Bed was soft, room was modern.

My only complaint was that housekeeping was by request only so they asked us to let them know by 11 AM if we wanted our room clean. After the second day, I requested a cleaning the next day and let them know we would be leaving the room at noon. They confirmed that the room would be cleaned. Came back to the room at 10:00 that night and it was never cleaned. Which was unfortunate as we threw our towels on the ground in the bathroom assuming they would be replaced. The shower door doesn’t block a lot of the water and the floors get really wet so we used those towels to mop the floor which meant we had no clean towels the next day. You do expect a little bit more for over $300 a night.

The location was close to Center Harbor, but not noisy at all. The private beach was cute with chairs supplied along with beach towels. The fire pit at night was a delight. And the hotel room's cleanliness and very friendly staff capped it off. All the rooms were located on the side of the hotel to give you a water view from your balcony. The grounds were well kept and pleasant. They did have canoes, paddleboards, paddle boats and kayaks, but I'm not sure if you needed to rent them or they were free. The other amenities were nice too, even though we didn't use them (sauna, hot tub, spa and exercise equipment). I will definitely come back and recommend the hotel to others.

This is really not a negative review: I didn't like that I only stayed at this hotel for one night. The continental breakfast was typical, but there was a restaurant across the street called Gusto's that had phenomenal breakfast and lunch fare.

The location was great, amazing view of the lake, the rooms were clean and comfortable with a balcony, free breakfast was pretty good, hot tub was nice and A fire pit.

There were geese all over the property and pooping everywhere so we had to watch our step. The floating dock was covered in goose poop. Also, we got a late checkout, which was great, but our room keys were deactivated for the last hour so we couldn’t get back into the room to pack up. It’s right on the main road so it was hard to cross the street to get to restaurants without walking further down to a cross walk.

Views from room were very nice. Full free breakfast was very nice. Beach was large and nice. Bed was comfortable and a/c worked good.

I wish there was a full shower door in lieu of just one half door, to keep the draft out. I wish there was a used towel dispenser so there was somewhere to put your dirty towels when your room isnt being cleaned. I wish there were umbrellas on the beach. I wish there was a lunch available.

Beautiful setting; perfect location for 4th of July festivities in Center Harbor. Large, comfortable room and big, well stocked bathroom with walk-in shower. Nice balcony. Includes self-serve breakfast from 8-10am; coffee, tea and juices; scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patties; breads, cereals, muffins, yogurt. There’s a beach area and jacuzzi, and we saw the available kayaks and paddle boards.

We liked everything. Adding lighting at the driveway entrance for after dark arrivals would be helpful.

Continental breakfast was decent. Need more chocolate chip muffins. Beautiful property. Never used any amenities as we were busy on the lake. The drawers in the rooms had crumbs in them, so I had to clean them before I used them. Fridge could have also used a better wipe down. Other than that it was comfortable and great view

The staff were friendly and helpful; the room was large and clean; and the hotel has excellent views of the lake, as well as access to the water. It is located in walking distance of two good restaurants. Plenty of parking is available on site. The breakfast included in the room price offered scrambled egg and bacon.

Our room promised a view of the mountains and the lake. Many rooms had this - but the only view from our balcony was of the car park.
