The room exceeded our expectations. We had a living area sofa, fridge, coffee maker TV and coffee table as well as a very large bedroom with jacuzzi bath. There was also a separate shower. There was a hot tub which we loved and the Lodge provide luxury bathrobes and towels. We loved the location which was quiet and peaceful but only a few minutes drive from the shops, outlets and restaurants. The breakfast included in the price was a buffet breakfast which was nice. You can pay for a cooked breakfast which we did on our last day and it was excellent.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

This is a great place that managed by a lovely couple. The room itself is quite small and basic, but everything else is just great: you can take coffee (also espresso!), soft drinks and sweets which are available 24 hours. You can either enjoy simple breakfast which is part of the cost or ask for eggs or similar for extra cost. You can also order great dinner (fixed meal, all dishes were excellent) to be served in the location itself. There is a pool, television room with Netflix and other options available, a room with different box games for families and kids, frog pound and small white water stream located two minutes away.

Beautiful and comfortable in the mountains of New Hampshire! Very attentive and helpful hosts! Went for dinner and it was very very delicious – haven’t had such wonderful halibut for many many years. Although we did not take part in some of the amenities such as the pool and hot tub, we really were relaxed and had a nice time.

The only two things that we would’ve liked would’ve been for a larger room, and maybe a little more up-to-date bathroom. The next time we stay, we will ask for more towels from the outset .

Our stay was great in every way. My daughter wanted to make sure I included how delicious the chocolate chip cookies were. The staff was very friendly, attentive and eager to make sure our stay was a great experience, which it was. The breakfast was incredible, the grounds were well maintained, everything in our room was clean and orderly. I really can't fault anything about our stay.

Very pleasantly surprised with this BNB, which was recently purchased by the new owners. They've made a lot of updates and brought it up to modern comforts. The beds are comfy and clean. The decor is modern. The hosts are very accommodating and make the stay inviting. They made fresh baked cookies and sent a note out to all the guests, they made a campfire Friday night, and they let us stay out a bit later at the hot tub when we asked. The grounds are also gorgeous, with a huge deck overlooking a pretty pond and a path leading out to the creek that has some lovely little swimming holes. It's close to north conway but secluded enough to feel peaceful.

No major issues. Maybe just how much light came into my room in the morning, but some Blackout curtains or an eye mask can remedy that easily. The hot tub was small for the number of rooms, and we couldn't get one half of the jets to work but that could have been user error.

It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Amazing location surrounded by trails and close to town. The staff went above and beyond with hospitality and kindness. The breakfast was delicious and elegant. The Inn has been updated, but has not lost any NE charm and quirkiness. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Well kept older property, thoughtful layout of rooms and amenities. Round the clock complimentary drink and snack offering in the kitchen was a really nice touch, it felt nice to be trusted like this by the staff. Hot tub and pool were nice and clean. Beds were comfortable, yet maintained their traditional feel. Staff were not fussed at all about our sleep in and late check out.

The owners and staff crew are friendly and welcoming. Oh my goodness, the breakfasts were good! One day we had eggs AND raspberry pancakes! Delicious! Staff left cookies out, and complementary selzer/soda. Yogurt, juice, fruit and coffee were available around the clock. There's a hot tub and small swimming pool for guests. One of the most important criterion for us is that they allow dogs, albeit in a limited number of rooms.

Ownership of the lodge has changed hands more than once in the past couple decades. New owners are working hard to update the place. The buildings were erected a LONG time ago, and the loft building shows its age. Bedrooms are being updated with new mattresses and bathroom fixtures. Our room had a great mattress, but both the toilet and the love seat were low, which could be a problem for older folks. Bathtub had a jacuzzi that we loved (although the bathroom itself is dated). Space for clothing in the "suite" was limited to a small rack to hang clothing. Ice maker in the main building was tiny. With the new owners, and the awesome staff, we expect there will be a lot of improvements in the upcoming years!

A beautiful historic lodge with all of the amenities you could need. I was warmly greeted upon my arrival and felt welcome. A beautiful property.

I was on the second floor of the main building and the stairs were a bit steep and narrow, but this is understandable in a historic building. Everything was immaculate, although the carpet on the stairs could use a cleaning.

A home-away-from-home experience!!! Beautiful-comfortable from the entrance to our room. Very bright and Sunny. And also we were so blessed to stay in Babe Ruth's visiting room.
