The Colonial exceeded my expectations for a budget motel. The room was small but clean and decently furnished, and the bed was very firm and comfortable (much better than many other budget motels I've stayed in).

The room had an adjoining door to the next room, allowing noise to pass through easily. My neighbors had an infant who fortunately wasn't fussy and didn't keep me up, but if it had been some late-night partiers next door, it could have been a real issue. Next time I stay here, I will definitely ask for a room without an adjoining door.

Obviously a plain and modest older motel which the owners have worked hard to upgrade. Small microwave and "dorm"-sized refrigerator were welcome. Comfortable chairs and adequate space for clothing and luggage. BIG bed! There is a Level 2 EV car charger in the back with a J1772 connector, but it obviously is not set up for visitors to use, You could ask management about it, but I don't know if they're ready for that yet. The in-room private Jacuzzi tub was a surprise. Very relaxing after skiing!

The memory-foam mattress (or topper, I can't tell) was a generous investment, and comfortable, but it is really warm -- a bit too warm for me -- even with the room kept very cool. That could be a plus for you, but bring light sleepwear just in case.

First off if you are looking for a cheap, clean, decent motel to rest your head this is the spot.The motel is in a great location, everything is within walking distance and very convenient.. The maintenance guy, I didn't catch his name, but he was right on top of making sure the parking lot and spots were cleared out of snow, which was great! The restaurant Muddy Moose is literally right down the road and I recommend eating there. The food was delicious. We would definitely stay here again! 😊 We are already planning a trip for next year.

I didn't have any complaints..The only thing is the supply of coffee in the room but it wasn't a huge deal since I prefer Dunkin coffee anyways..and Dunkin is down the street also .. Everything else was great! 😃

Was able to get right in - manager had called prior to arrival time just to confirm we were still able to come and if any delays. Check in was smooth and quick. Room met all expectations and was extremely satisfied and definitely agreed with reviews of room cleanliness, comfortable beds and friendly staff.

Was a little surprised with outside appearance compared to website - looked like they could use just a little bit of fresh paint coat on the outside - but that was my only slight disappointment - everything else met or exceed all expectations.

The staff at the Colonial Motel was very welcoming, the room was ready when we arrived, and it was spotlessly clean. Although the hotel was full, it was very, very quiet at night, which was wonderful. It was a great experience, and we will most definitely plan to stay at the Colonial Motel in the future. The nightly cost is amazing for the area, and what you get, and the easy walk to the center of North Conway Village is fantastic.

We loved everything about our stay at the Colonial Motel.

I had a room reserved with two Queen beds and the manager wanted to know if we would swap with someone who needed the two beds.. He had a room reserved with a King bed and jetted tub. We swapped with no extra charge to us. The room was extremely clean, beautiful shower and the jetted tub worked great. First time we had enough outlets to charge our phones also. I will continue to go back there when in the area.

The only thing was the 3 PM check-in. I wish it was at at lease 1 PM or earler. We were only there for the night so we actually shopped for a couple hours.

Perfect location, 6 minute walk to the center of North Conway. Rooms were basic and clean. Relatively quiet for the area that it's located in. Outdoor pool was clean.

The front office needs an air freshener, the smell was stale and unpleasant. Rooms are old and need updating. Our door had been visibly forced open at some point in it's life as the door frame was badly damaged. A poor repair job had been done using spray foam insulation so that the latch was only held in place by spray foam. The shower was my biggest complaint. The entire time I showered the water went from boiling hot to freezing cold every 30 seconds or so. At one point getting so hot it burned me.

Conveniently located to downtown N. Conway and about a 5 min (in traffic) drive to the outlet stores. Beds are comfortable, cable TV has more options than other places we've stayed and water pressure in showers are best we've had in N. Conway Staff is friendly and outside of our "neighbors" we weren't bothered at all

There wasn't a table in our room, we did have an office chair but nothing to use it with, other than that just the fact we couldn't shut off the alarm clock (set for 6AM) everything else was good

This was first time my husband and I stayed at the Colonial Motel and we were very pleased with everything. Our check-in was very pleasant and friendly. Our room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. There was also a beautiful pool to take advantage of on a hot day. We would highly recommend the Colonial Motel and we will certainly stay there again the next time we are in the White Mountains.

Location was excellent and the rooms all refurbished and very clean. Stayed one night and it was so good decided to book a second night but they only had a King room with spa, although extra it was well worth it as the spa was very relaxing and ideal for anyone after a day playing golf or skiing. Reception were very helpful and knowledgeable with recommendations. Although we did not use the BBQ or fire pit on the grass area at the front, its a lovely touch from the Management. Lovely seating area also there and chairs outside each room. Excellent Motel.

Nothing to dislike.
