This was my second stay at The Kenilworth Hotel, and once again, it was absolutely fantastic. I came from London a week early to cover a wedding and spent two wonderful weeks here with my family. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the housekeepers were respectful and hardworking, and the 24-hour coffee machine was a lovely touch. We especially enjoyed the delicious cooked breakfasts and the comfortable rooms. Great location, great service — I’ll definitely be back again!

Absolutely nothing! The staffs attitude was great and good first business

I was there for a wedding weekend. The upgrades that were done to the property are so nice. Everything is clean.

The 2 front desk staff upon checking in and out were absolutely wonderful. Bob, the shuttle driver, was so nice. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the shuttle arrangement that was later corrected. But the female at the front desk at the time of the incident came out to the front of the inn as me and my daughter were sitting in the shuttle and stated to Bob in a very loud unprofessional tone "they need to get out the shuttle is not paid for". Again, that was not the time or place as we were not only dressed but in the wedding, and she literally embarrassed us for something that wasn't arranged by us. For that alone, we will not be staying there again.

They snacks for the house, morning coffee ☕️, hot chocolate 🍫 and the amazing muffins 😋 and many more. 5. The gym 🏋️‍♀️ 6. The safety (security) 7. The structure of the building and the environment are really good 👍🏼. 8. The gentle man who always smiles and lightens up the waiting room.

1. The staff on the reception desk sometimes act as if they are forced to come to work. (I think they should be more friendly and not frowning).

While they were very strict about checkout time, there were multiple comfortable places to hangout in the hotel and read or get some work done while we waited some hours for our flight, including a desk and multiple couches tucked in various corners. Way better than waiting in the airport. Comfortable beds. Coffee was good. Shuttle was useful and accommodating.

There was hair in the bathtub drain, but otherwise seemed clean. Breakfast was coffee and packaged nutri-grain bars, muffin, ok streudel. It probably mentions “continental breakfast” somewhere, in which case, that’s to be expected. I just missed it.

We needed to quickly find a new hotel for a wedding we were attending because our initial booking at another location was unsatisfactory. The wedding party had recommended Kenilworth, but we chose a different place due to the price, which turned out to be a mistake. We arrived at Kenilworth before check-in and had to wait in our car until the room was ready. Once inside, the room was exactly as expected—clean and lovely. I recommend spending a bit more for a better experience; it's better to be safe than sorry.

The staff were amazing. They answered any question I had via their messaging service and were incredibly accommodative. The location was perfect for what we needed while visiting family and they had a great crib for our daughter that made the stay more comfortable for us. Bob helped me get our bags to the room which was great and they even ordered us a complimentary Lyft ride to the airport when they didn't have a driver available to shuttle us. They went above and beyond and we would absolutely stay here again.

The Kenilworth is an impeccably clean hotel with spacious, quiet rooms. I found it to be an excellent price for the quality of the room, about 1/3 of what you pay at Newark airport. The staff was efficient and helpful with recommendations for dining in the local area. Quiet hours were emphasized (begins at 10:00pm). The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable. Everything smelled fresh upon entry. The toiletries were of good quality, towels were thick and higher end than what I expected. Having a cold mini-refrigerator and good air conditioning was a bonus. Blackout drapes helped and solid windows helped with getting a quiet night of sleep. I was just in for one night but when returning to this area I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others, especially as an EWR airport solution. Just plan out your journey to allow for plenty of time to navigate the airport and you can save money and get a great room.

The location is just a few miles to Newark airport and located in a nice area, so it was worth the drive and traffic planning needed to ensure I made my flight to get a great hotel room at 1/3 the price of the EWR hotels. The only thing that kept this from being a 10 was the lack of a restaurant onsite or at a minimum a breakfast room. I understand there is a bar that opens in the evenings, and they do offer a breakfast-on-the-go that starts at 7am. Drove to the local Kenilworth Diner for an excellent meal, so this setup was not a big deal for me, but just be aware if an onsite restaurant is a priority.

We loved everything !! People in the reception were great, Kind and sweet. They gave us apples when whe arrived...so nice 😘🤗🙂 What we loved the most was to arrive after a long day of tours and always finding a clean and comfortable room, really really thanks for that! ... They also have ACME supermarket in front of the hotel in the case you need to buy food or something... They have suttle service and Mike, the driver was great, nice and kind... They can help you with the train stop direction, and how to become to NY City by train or bus. I don't remember your names guys, but really thanks ♥️ We love you and your hotel and we'll be with you in our next trip ♥️👋🗽 Blessings and Kind regards!
