This is the 2nd time I've stayed at Anchor. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The pool is sparkling. I got a room with two queen beds for a friend and me. The room itself isn't very big but that's fine with me since we don't spend much time in the room anyway (except to relax and sleep). There's everything I need in the room so that's all that matters. The chairs outside the room are great for reading, sipping on coffee or adult beverages, daydreaming, and relaxing. Super close to the boardwalk & beach and bars/restaurants in the area.

The only thing that was not great was the construction going on across the street. I think people with rooms on that side of the hotel should be informed there will be construction noise during the day. It was barely noticeable in the room, but when sitting outside, it was loud. (Still, not louder than it is in Brooklyn where I live!)

5 minute walk to the beach. Very quiet, clean family- run place. No loud parties at night. Nice, little ,clean pool. Comfortable beds. Air conditioning, toilet, shower, all kitchen appliances are newer and in excellent working condition.

Should have a bar or hook by the bathroom sink, for hanging a hand towel. Also need a replacement carafe for the coffee maker. I was disappointed the first morning when I couldn't make coffee, because the carafe to the coffee maker was missing. No major issues. Staff is sweet and helpful, and would have probably fixed these 2 minor issues if I had remembered to mention them during my stay.

I am in love with this place!!! Perfect location and the nicest, most hospitable people you will ever meet!!! Booked for 3 days...stayed for an extra 2. Family run business that really cares about their customers. All I wanted when I came down the shore was a roof over my head and a shower..I got so much more!!! Comfortable accomodations and customer service on a whole other level! Such wonderful people!! If you're looking for a spot thats close to everything...this is the spot for you. I can't stress enough how great this family is...they made my stay fantastic!!!! I will be back!!

I picked a room through booking.com and when I got there the room I picked was not what was given to me. I was told by the owner that if I wa Ted a specific room I should have contacted them directly. I told the owner I specifically picked that room because it had 2 rooms seperate from eachother and I was traveling with my son and daughter. An offer to move was made but I would have to pay more. I refused.

We had a great stay! The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean, perfect for our family. One of the things we really appreciated was the peaceful, family-oriented atmosphere — it was nice no yung kids partying. Definitely a place we’d come back to!

Slightly squeaky bed, TV was too loud on the lowest volume so couldn't watch TV at night as I didn't want to disturb the neighbors. Toilet was really close to the wall so was a bit awkward as I'm tall.

The customer service is excellent. From the moment I arrived they were welcoming and respectful. There weren’t towels when I checked in. I called and they brought them to me immediately. I decided to stay an extra day. I sent an email request and the responded quickly. The whole experience has been great. The place is clean and roomy. It may not be a high end hotel, but it is clean. Well equipped with full size refrigerator. An oven, stove and coffee pot. There’s utensils, cookware and in the bathroom they have a blow dryer! The shower has amazing water pressure. Everything is so clean. It has plenty of space and even a large dining room table. I had read the air conditioner is noisy. But honestly, it’s window air conditioners. They are very quiet compared to other window air conditioners. I could only stay 3 days as i traveled with family for a reunion. It is walking distance to the boardwalk and ocean . I can see the Ferris wheel when I walk outside. I should also state that it’s very quiet. You will or be disappointed. I did not know where I was going to stay and when you book online you never know what the place will look like: this place looked like the pictures the service is exceptional. My daughter and her family stayed at a house right around the cornier from me. They came back here to pick me up and were amazed how nice this house is. Bed might not be fantastic . But you most likely would come here for the beach, the bed is fine. Bring a pillow if you like fluffy pillows, but to me they were fine. They sent me a conformation # email when I booked it which was so welcoming. It was more like a welcoming letter. They even included the wi-fi password In the welcome later. I honestly can’t say enough about it. The customer service , I need to emphasize, is great! You will not be very happy you found this place! 10/10

Nothing! The place is great. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach. It is very clean. There’s plenty of room. I read so posts that Said the air conditioner was loud, but they are all on air conditioners. Thats how they sound. I thought they were quiet. And they keep the place really cool and comfortable.

This Motel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. They explained the check in process well and answered all my questions. The motels location was great. It was just a short walk to the beach and boardwalk. It was also inexpensive when compared to other motels. The room was very tidy. The bathroom was nice. I loved having a mini fridge and microwave. It was very convenient. The air conditioning also worked great.

We stayed in a three bed room that was small for three full sized beds. I wish they had been twin sized, honestly. We were really squished together and I did disturb my friend getting up in the night because I couldn't help bumping her bed. The beds were way too close together and the room felt small. I also felt like there should have been more hanging rods for towels. They only clean your room or bring new towels on request so we were trying to reuse towels but hanging three towels proved difficult as we also wanted to dry our swimsuits. Still, it was a clean, inexpensive room. I would totally book it again given the price and location. Any inconveniences were minor and really it was a good place to crash after visiting the beach and boardwalk.

The location for the price! 2 blocks to the beach, the water park, and the ride section of the boardwalk! I had 2 young children with me, ages 3 and 4, and both were able to handle walking even after a day at the beach and night on the boardwalk! Right next to the police station, so it also made me feel safe walking at night.

The room is very small and does not have a coffee maker. Although there is a 7-11 one block away, I would have loved to be able to make my own.

Friendliness of the owners, the location to the boardwalk and beach, and the cleanliness and temperature of the pool was amazing! The owner cleaned the pool every night, and while it was on the small side, there were times when we were the only people in the pool. This was our first time in Seaside Heights, and we will definitely be back to this motel again next year!

The bathroom was pretty small, but the affordability of the room made up for it!
