Amazing location near thruway but no noise whatsoever. Quite convenient to a multitude of restaurants and area attractions in and near NewPaltz. Super modern and seems very updated. Beds and bedding were exceptionally comfortable and room were super clean and well appointed with nice sized mini fridge and microwave as well as flat screen Tv. Bathroom and walk in shower were exceptional. Great rates- amazing full breakfast and friendly staff. Easy and plentiful free parking and had a nice pool too. Just a perfect hotel service and room all around. Loved the little convenience area by the front desk for snacks and treats as well that you could purchase at anytime.

We love the Hampton Inn. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and the staff is helpful and friendly. The fitness center is also very appreciated.

The breakfast has always been average and limited but it seems to have declined. Each day the items were very limited; eggs, yogurts, breads and pastries had one or maybe two options in each category. The bananas were so green you could not peel them. The orange juice was undrinkable. The included breakfast definitely needs some improving!

The room was clean and in good shape (Bathroom utilities, furniture, floor covering, etc.)

Walls were not insulated well. We heard people in the next room easily. There did not seem to be many people in the hotel at that time yet we were situated next to other occupants. It seems to be a standard practice to not spread people out when there is the ability to do so for the convenience of the hotel but it would be beneficial for the guests to do so when possible.

Clean room, pleasant. Good location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby was nice. There were blackout curtains and the tv worked. They gave me the top floor that I requested and there was a frig and coffee pot in the room

The bed was not firm, and in the morning, you can hear everyone opening and closing their doors loudly. There is no attempt to model the doors so they don't slam. Very annoying. Plus there is no bath, only shower.

I think Hilton group really cares about the needs of the guests staying in their properties. The beds and the pillows are so comfy. The hot breakfast is a very thoughtful gesture; making sure that their guests are fueled up for the day. They take cleanliness seriously. Once we enter their properties, we are welcomed with a relaxing smell. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The room and bathroom SUPER clean. The beds were extremely comfortable including the wonderful pillows! Always look forward to arriving after a 6 1/2 drive to the cookies baked fresh for weary travelers~! My Grandson enjoyed the work-out facilities that were open late- much appreciated. Enjoyed the all you can eat breakfast buffet. Upon checking out, a take-away bag is provided for the ride home. It included a muffin, orange, a bagel with PB & Jelly along with a bottle of water. Yes--they were appreciated during the long ride home. Thank you for providing a wonderful retreat during our travels. See you next time~!

The hotel and rooms were very clean and the decor was modern. I’ve been to a lot of places with old curtains or furniture and it shows, but everything about this hotel seemed updated and fresh. The front desk staff were also kind and knowledgeable, even offering us water bottles for the room which I was happy with. Overall it was a great stay and I would return again.

I don’t have any recommendations for improvement at this time.

Unfortunately, we had a fire drill at 9 p.m. that took approximately 30 minutes to complete. Woke us out of a dead sleep. We were never accounted for. No one told us to reenter the building. We just went back in because everyone else was. It was tough to go back to sleep after raising everyone's anxiety level. We stay here every year, so I can't complain about one fire drill. The facilities are awesome,it's very clean, the location is perfect and the price is "bit high" but you pay for what you get. Breakfast is wonderful. The pool area is nice.

The unexpected fire drill so late when folks have to get up early. There is no organization to the drill. There is no accountability for people at all. No apology to anyone. No one told us we could renter the building. We were standing in the rain with a homeless man shouting obscenities at us. Sane homeless person we saw spit on a car and pound on their window earlier that day!

Friendly helpful receptionist and staff. Very comfortable bed, comforter, pillow. Good shower. My partner forgot his tooth brush and tooth paste. Receptionist supplied replacements. Also my partner went swimming and enjoyed the pool. Liked that breakfast was included. I was offered an upgrade because I am an honors member. But unfortunately didn't not see it because I did not check my email till after we checked in.

The fact that I didn't see the email about the upgrade and missed it. When I inquired about it when I made the reservation, I received an email telling me an upgrade would not be possible because all the rooms had just 2 queen beds. So I didn't bother to check whether I got an upgrade. Then when the offer was made it said there was a room with a king bed. So I was confused about the first email that was sent to me. If the first email had said I should have kept checking for an upgrade I would have done so. However I was very happy with my room. No complaints.

Location, location, location! Cycled to rail trail route when we arrived. Spent 1 day touring FDR museum (excellent!) and other Hyde Park spots. Nice 7 mile cycle right from hotel to Walk across the Hudson bridge. Great breakfast with lots of options and 4 hour window!
