When we entered the room smelled of smoke. Went to the bathroom and found cigarette ashes in the toilet and some on the seat. I grew up in a house that smoked so I just flushed and wiped the seat but I don’t smoke and didn’t like the smell. It eventually disappeared. I’m assuming they just cleaned and a worked took a smoke break and forgot to flush. Rest of the room was clean and the staff was friendly. Great breakfast options also! Staff was great and even called to make sure we get our stuff back that my daughters left there.

New building, which made it feel clean though the decor was a little random. The food was okay for being continental. The staff were pretty decent, though we never received a call when our room was ready even though we were informed they would let us know. Overall, I would recommend it, as the room is huge, comfortable bed, and adequate food.

The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable. The pool was great for our kids. The staff was helpful and attentive to needs. For instance, I was making a cup of tea at the coffee/tea area around 9 pm and the water ran out. A staff member was there almost immediately to refill the water and make sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was good.

Freshly built hotel. Nice. Good accommodations. Big and comfortable room.

Cleaning was very poor. Hairs and dirt in shower and on the floor of the bathroom, unflushed (but clean) paper in toilet, stains in lot of places in bathroom. Big doubt how seriously was done the cleaning. Sheets and pillowslips were smelling washing powder (so I suppose they were clean) but with a lot of creases everywhere (just as they were already used by previous occupier and the cleaner had just redo the bed with same sheets). Strange.

Everything at this hotel was lovely - the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was excellent and had many healthy choices. Staff there was excellent and made sure everything was kept clean.

Would have liked a mirror in the room itself and not having to take the time in the bathroom when someone else could have gotten ready.

Breakfast was awesome! Staff is always friendly and helpful. Our kids love the cookies at check-in. Clean and neat. Location is great too. Plenty of stores and restaurants close by. We stay here every time we are in the area.

Water pressure in the shower and a few more degrees on the temp in the pool…little things

Only a two day stay. They had made the beds and took the garbage after the first day. It was unexpected. The food was delicious, hot and you always had plenty to choose from. Liked the cookies at the front desk!!

The beds were so comfortable! The location is great, the hotel is clean and new. Overall, this is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. I will definitely stay here again and suggest that friends and family stay here as well.

There were a few small things where we could tell that the room hadn't been cleaned thoroughly enough. These were generally minor though. The shower needed a scrubbing and there was dried soda or something similar on the wall.

The room faced the city of oneonta which was nice. The location is super easy to get to. The rooms and bedding were nice and clean with room cleaning taking minimal time.

Some kid puked in the breakfast buffet… but that wasn’t any wring doing on the hotels part. They actually took care of it rather quickly. The rooms seemed to be a bit pricier for such an off weekend.
