The hotel is centrally located in Penn Yan to visit wineries at Seneca and Keuka Lakes in the Finger Lakes of NY. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was loud, so we turned it off. The price was very reasonable, and we added a wine package as a memento of the trip. The breakfast had a large variety of food, so everyone had many choices. We were impressed by the yogurt machine! Great way to cut down on waste!

Unfortunately, we were placed in a room on the main road. The traffic noise and garbage removal led to a restless sleep. I would definitely request a room at the back.

Cleanliness. The bed was comfortable, and so were the pillows. The breakfast bar was unique: touchless pancake machine, yogurt machine, cappacino machine, and the usual eggs, sausage, and fruit. The coffee was available 24 hrs. We had a king room, which was quite spacious. The stairwell was recently painted and carpeted. It was good to see that the property is well maintained.

We had a tub with a shower curtain. I love walk-in showers. However, the water pressure for the shower was great. It felt good after our walk. The light switch was for both fan and light. It was very noisy. A night light would be good

We has a small problem booking a cab to the hotel, but the staff was so helpful and so nice. Our welcome was probably one of the warmest greetings we have ever gotten for us and our service dog (once she was told she could be friendly and not work, it was love all around). We loved the thoughtful welcome packet and location. Absolutely would book this hotel again for any Penn Yan travel.

Honestly no complaints. The bed was comfy, the staff was amazing, the location is great. Really the staff is above and beyond at this hotel.

The size of the room was great. the pillows & bed were very comfortable. No shortage of hot water in the shower. The microwave in the room is a total bonus! Enjoyed the small table in the room also so we could enjoy a meal without having to sit on the bed like most hotels. Highly recommend.

Our heating and air unit made a constant clicking noise and it made it hard to sleep peacefully at night. After a certain time it was very hard to find a parking spot. We found that the breakfast food was often over cooked, like the potato option being very hard and tough to chew. Bacon was very over cooked to the point that it almost disintegrated in your mouth instantly. Just would recommend that maybe more than one person be in charge of the busy breakfast to avoid these situations.

This hotel is ALWAYS clean, the staff is ALWAYS lovely; respectful and friendly. The breakfast, while fairly typical, is very good because the hot foods are kept hot; and everything is fresh.

I do wish they would convert all the tubs to walk in showers. I am recovering from recent knee surgery and it was very challenging for me to get in and out of the tub as the edge was very high.

Poor lighting in the bathroom (no lights above the mirror...they were on the walls at the sides of the mirror, and they were the yellow low-glow type - not good for putting on makeup, contact lenses, or seeing details). Also, the carpeting in the room has got to go! It was starting to fray at the bathroom door, and there was a big stain RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE of the room (as if an earlier guest had dropped a big pizza or something...honestly, if this were my home, I NEVER would have left that kind of stain on the carpet for others to see!). Surely you must have a decent carpet cleaning machine in the hotel. Please consider getting rid of the carpets in the rooms in favor of the vinyl hardwood floor look - so much more sanitary too!

I liked the location. It was within walking distance to restaurants and shopping and also the Outlet Trail. It was a short drive to the wineries and to the lake. It was great having coffee and juices available whenever we wanted them. The pool and hot tub were nice.

For breakfast I would have preferred sausage gravy and biscuits as an option instead of scrambled eggs.

The greeting at front desk was pleasant and kind. The rooms were very clean and our cleaning lady Sue greeted us wished us a good day and worked with a smile. All around very friendly staff. A convenient location to the lakes. Also your breakfast buffet was very good and the staff kept it spotless and everything was never empty. Very pleasant breakfast and atmosphere to sit and get your morning started. Overall I have not one negative comment. Also always had hot water for a shower. Most hotels you stay in don't have that!! Keep up the excellent atmosphere and work ethics!!!

The breakfast was varied, fresh, and had plenty of selections for everyone. Loved the 24/7 availability of the excellent coffee machine and juice. Our room was clean, roomy, and comfortable with plenty of towels and toiletries.

The pool water was cloudy, so we didn't use. The hot tub wasn't clean, and when we turned on the jets, it developed a brown, bubble foam on top. Not good. There were towels available in the pool area.

The location is within an hour of most local attractions. Breakfast was great, unlimited coffee all day! Pool was clean and easy to access. Parking lot was easy to access and never had an issue with space.

Walls are a bit thin and some noise does come though. On our last night a family with young children and dogs stayed and kept us up a bit later than I would have liked. Hotel is pet friendly, we did not realize this before booking.
