Location was perfect-right by Queens Plaza station we were able to use the Airtrain from the airport to the E at Jamaica to get there, and that station has several other lines that we took to all of our destinations without having to make any transfers. Felt very safe, nearby restaurants and great grocery store not too far away called Foodcellar. Our room and the view (city view) was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooftop lounge was nice for viewing the city in the evening and hanging out during the day.

Location was a surprise, MTA station is 2' away, bus is 1' from the hotel door. Fast and reliable connection with the rest of the city. Room is pristine clean and they provide with complimentary water and coffee. Bed is really comfortable, best sleep of the trip (3 hotels in total) by far. Staff is friendly and happy to help.

I would have appreciated better water pressure in the shower; it felt a bit below the average compared to other hotels, which made the showers take longer. The other point is the subtle background noise. It wasn't a major issue, but if you're a light sleeper, you should definitely ask for a quieter room.

1 Very good location near metro (Queens plaza and Queensborough) 2 Staff at the front desk very friendly. 3 Room beautiful and very clean. 4 Roof top at 18...top and for free!!Even if it's "just" skyline of Roosevelt island bridge or Queensborought bridge and a part of midtown! 5 Good and different fast food very close.

1 The wonderful glass-wall of the bathroom lights up the all bedroom if used during night time. 2 We had a room at the first floor just above the coffee bar... when the live music night was noisy!! 3 Unfortunately our room was just in front of the Metro railways and on the main car street with any kind of protection against noises...so for ALL NIGHT LONG VERY NOISY! Ask for an interior room or higher and higher floor!

The location was really convenient, the hotel looks new, clean, the wifi worked well. At the lobby there's a place to buy food and snacks. You can go up to the roof to see the view. They also have tables + chairs on the roof, where we sat to eat some take-away. We really enjoyed that. Between 7 pm and 11 pm they have on weekdays in the lobby area some fun activities, loved the social vibe.

we had an issue keeping the blanket between the sheets, but I think it's a really minor issue.

Amazing location! Long island city is a great alternative to Manhattan. 1 min walk to subway station on the same side as the hotel and 15 mins train ride to Manhattan. Staff was very friendly. Room is big enough for 2 ppl. Rooftop view is amazing. Too bad a building blocks the view of the Empire State or else we would have seen it right from the hotel’s roof. Only one small minus point is they have probably have a very small luggage storage room so we had to leave our suitcases in the lobby because we checked out for a few days and came back to stay at the hotel again for a night. I will definitely stay there again in the future!

Location was great. As a tourist from the UK it was far cheaper to stay in Queens than in Lower Manhattan and the Subway was close by which gave us access to anywhere we wanted to go. It felt very safe, even at night time. The staff were super friendly. The free coffee and tea in reception was a lovely touch. We found a fabulous American Diner for breakfast each day and ate in a wonderful Chinese restaurant just up the road from the Hotel at very reasonable prices.

There was nothing we didn't like.

I have only one complaint but it is rather important: the room is very and I mean very noisy. The room heater, the little fridge, the street (although 11 floors below), the neighbours, the trains…there is simply always some loud noise. Always. With better phonic insulation the hotel deserves a ten, really.

The staff were super accommodating and friendly. They were a life saver for letting my friend borrow a band-aid and scissors. We were able to check in early, which helped a lot with getting ready for our first full day in NY. They were able to provide some extra towels, which was lovely and much needed. I really feel like the staff went above and beyond. The room itself was super clean and I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was. My friends and I stayed on the 13th floor so that might be why the city sounds were quite faint. I loved the location too, especially the view from the top floor. 10/10 would stay here again!!!

I don't really have anything negative to say. I suppose it would have been nice to have robes in the room but that didn't impact the experience. The view was obscured by some building stuff but it didn't really matter to us.

The room was spacious enough for 4 adults. The restroom was also huge. We didn't have breakfast but the location was really great because it's near some groceries, restaurants, Target and Trader Joe's. Even if it's not in Manhattan, you can easily get there by train because of a subway station that's nearby (Queens Place).

Just the check-in time - even if the check-in time says 3 PM and we arrived around that time, we still had to wait because there were no "vacant" rooms
