The staff, the room, and the cleaning was were excellent. really really good value for money, specially because it also included breakfast. very good location, 2 minute walk from an underground station, 2 stops from Manhattan. we loved the views from our room too!! we could see Manhattan and queens ridge, fantastic morning sky lights!!

the only thing that needs improving is breakfast capacity. the quality of food was very good value, however there is too many people to serve in just 2h of breakfast service and often times people couldn’t seat or bread would run out. either build another breakfast room or increase breakfast time 7-10am.

We have enjoyed our stay. Even though the hotel wasn't located in Manhattan, you have actually a block away the line F that goes directly to the city center. We didn't have any problem about the area. It was also value for money as breakfast was included (enough to start the day). Our room was great, comfy bed, excellent small fridge and good heating (even though it is a little bit noisy).. Take note that cleaning service must be requested at the reception. Staffs were kind. Not bad for what we have paid!

Breakfast was only for a couple of hours, and there aren't enough space for everyone...

This hotel is only 5 mins walking to the nearest subway (F Train, 21st Queens Bridge Station). Check in was fast and the staff are nice and helpful. They provide free unlimited coffee, tea and the condiments in the lobby which is really nice. They also have long and wide table with plug in to charge your devices and bunch of seats. Elevator works perfectly well. I stayed in king room. The room is spacious enough for two people and clean. It has everything I need. They have mini fridge in the room too. Bed is comfy, thick and soft. Breakfast is typical American breakfast. They have two rooms separated but next to each other for breakfast, make sure you check both rooms to get the full menu of the breakfast, located in 1R floor. The fitness room was hidden in the corner and small, I didn't notice about it until I checked out. All in all it's a nice hotel and I will recommend it to others.

Location is in Long Island City but it will take you to Midtown Manhattan by train with only 2 stops away (20 mins).

The room was clean and as described also had all the basic amenities. Heating and cooling in the room worked well. Location very close to a subway station and took only 15-20min to central Manhattan. The F line could take you to most places and was very handy! All staff was friendly and ready to help whenever. Overall very good value for the money.

Tried the gym at the hotel and was a little disappointed it would need an update. Breakfast was offered and good but didn't have much fresh food just apples and an occasional banana. Also the space for breakfast was quite crowded so had to wait to be be able to sit down and eat. The neighborhood might feel a little sketchy to some in the evening but we never had any problems there.

It was our first time coming to the big city Stephanie Johnson at the front desk was phenomenal with ALL her assistance. She gave us step-by-step help with transport. We could also leave our luggage at check out to finish touring before heading out. The staff gave us directions on how to navigate the train/subway/shuttle. Although the line for breakfast was very long there was an overflow.

The staff was super efficient at replenishing everything. ''there could have been a longer breakfast time. It lasted only 2 hours from 7am-9am.

The hotel was nice and the service was excellent and I will be back again.

Paid for my room when I checked in at $413 and a second payment of $413 was deducted from my card which should have only being a $100 security and left me short of cash as I when to buy some food at the airport and my card was declined. So unfortunately I was so embarrassed. Also booked in for a king size room overlooking the city and ended up in a smaller room on the 5th floor which was not a king size room so I think that was false advertisements.

Staff very polite and helpful in anything we asked help for, especially Stephani was amazing but also everyone else, even if we cant recall by name! City view was very very nice (room was on 10th floor), the hotel was clean and in a great location, just less than 2 minutes from the subway which means you can practically go everywhere. Breakfast was a huge plus and was tasty, and also there is complimentary water/tea/coffee at the lobby 24/7 which we found very convenient. Overall and especially for the price we got (was relatively lower than the area average and MUCH lower than Manhattan - we expected there was a catch somewhere, to our surprise everything was perfect!) we would definately stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting NYC. Another plus is that it cooperates with Luggage Hero which was super convenient.

All the minuses mentioned below are just points for improvement and were nowhere remotely close to "ruining" our stay in any way :) -Breakfast room can get crowded in the serving hours and you might have to wait a little until seated (the staff lady was polite and did her best with cleaning tables and refilling trays as fast as possible - thank you!!) -The elevators were somewhat slow. -The area is ok, we read comments about it being dangerous, but we didnt feel any threat or danger, maybe the drunkies and beggars is something that we could do without, but not really "dangerous". Despite the above nuances, we would VERY much recommend Best Western Plaza hotel, thanks again for a wonderful stay!

The location is awesome by 3 minute walking you can access to the yellow metro station, just be careful with the deli store at the corner of the street, there is always people screaming and we felt a little unsafe at this part. The bed is very comfortable and the room size was just perfect.

We spend almost 2 hours to make check in (also other 3 families) because they have trouble with their bookings. After a long flight we would appreciate a faster check in

Breakfast was great, dinning room was too small for the demand, the hotel location was fantastic!, was close to all attractions we wanted to see.

I was very uncomfortable and surprise that all my personal information, including CVC was manually taken from my visa card at the front desk. When I asked the hotel employee he explained that I needed to prove that I was there?? and that the machine will not take my PIN? that the key pad was not enabled and that the all that information was required... I need to cancel my visa.

The hotel was very clean and personnel was always available to help. Position is great <1min from metro going into Manhattan

Unfortunately there was maintenance ongoing on one of the elevator, so we had to wait many minutes to reach the room or exit - doing 7 floors on foot was impossible. Breakfast space is small and there are a lot of people in the morning, so I suggest eating somewhere else.
