The hotel is well furnished, clean, and conveniently located close to a subway which is very close to the middle of Manhattan and runs 24hrs a day. Staff were helpful and friendly. My room was warm, comfy, and had all amenities I'd hope for.

There's an issue with the deposit - first they couldn't take it and threatened to cancel the reservation, even though it was secured through booking.com, then they say they can't refund it to my card. Sure, the immediate vicinity of the hotel is a poorer neighbourhood, and the breakfast is crazy crowded; but you won't get a room in a hotel this nice so close to Manhattan at the price, and this is the trade-off. It wouldn't stop me staying again.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff. 7 minutes walking from queensbridge station and quiet at night. It feels safe walking at night even if there are not many shops around. Changed towels every day and room was very warm. The bed was big and very comfortable. Breakfast was good with buffet choice of waffles, bagels, scrumbled eggs, sausage, youghurt, juices and some fruit. The waitress was very attentive and kept refilling. There was no cheese or ham though.

I missed cappuccino, espresso and caffelatte at breakfast. Hotel would be superb if offered this. American coffe is not great(sorry)

The staff was very kind and helpful, we enjoyed our stay there and felt safe inside the hotel. My family had nothing but good things to say about the stay as well. The breakfast was convenient and one less expense to worry about during our stay. It only took us about 20 minutes to get to the NYPL including walking to the subway! Also the price was better than what you’d find in the city and worth it because it didn’t take too long from our hotel to get there.

Outside of the hotel the area was a little sketchy but not too bad. I’d probably stay here again!

The room was nice and spacious. It was well-lit and offered a nice view on Long Island City from the 15th floor. The bed was comfortable with proper pillows, and the shower was also good. Cleaning happened every day, even if we had to postpone it due to a late start. The staff at the front desk is absolutely wonderful and very helpful.

The A/C in our room was extremely loud. I don't think it was necessarily a malfunction, but it sounded like a fridge on steroids with a blow-off sound like a truck when it disengaged. I was able to sleep through it, but I don't think everyone could. Furthermore, the breakfast area was kind of small. There were two days where I couldn't even sit because all the seating was taken already. Lastly, the hotel is in a bit of a sketchy area. I wouldn't call it bad, and never felt particularly unsafe, but there's definitely always something happening in the direct vicinity.

Breakfast was good! Decent selection of bagels, toast, cereal, yogurt, juice, tea, coffee. Runs from 7am til 10am. Location is super easy to find, quick walk through a local park to get to and from the train station. Everything touristy is so easy to access from the F train! Convenience store in the lobby was also really good for some chips or a soda in the middle of the night. You simply pay at reception after choosing your items.

Breakfast room fills up FAST, a few more tables and chairs would be good. Although many people just went in, grabbed their food and took it back upstairs (myself included). The "room service" menu is just an Uber Eats type of thing, the hotel itself does not offer any hot foods. In saying that, we used Uber Eats and Door Dash really easily, just met our drivers out front of the hotel, (almost) all our food arrived hot and fresh.

I really like how spacious and big the bedroom was. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean. I also likes the wood material for the bedroom which make it a little bit luxurious. The staff was very helpful to fix the AC for heat when requested it. But also the ladies at the desk were very nice and helpful.Thank you

I did not like the location of the hotel and the price of the staying coming from it. It is an area with homeless and family shelters around. Streets are very dirty on your way to and from the hotel. Even if the hotel is high standard and look brand new, I would say the price applicable are for hotel in downtown Manhattan. The subway close by is a very good point though. To finish regarding the price I would except a better breakfast, maybe more choices of fresh fruits, fruits salads, more variety.

Super convenient location for accessing Manhattan without the price. The room was very modern and looked like it had a recent remodel. The staff were always friendly and said hello or good morning, etc. Don't let the other reviews about the neighborhood scar you just do what you need to do. I was never bothered and walked home after midnight by myself. It's convenient for access to both NYC airports. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely look here 1st when we come back.

We arrived at the JFK airport and it was pretty easy to get there by Airtrain and Metro, the hotel is located 4 squares away from the F line so it's a very short walking distance even with luggage. Upon our arrival, Sofia was very kind and made everything possible in her hands to make our stay comfortable and check-in easy, she's the best!! The breakfast was a lifesaver and the staff was always aware of our needs. The room was very spacious, the beds were super comfortable (ideal to rest after a really busy day with MANY tourist activities) and it was ALWAYS clean!!

At first sight, you might think that the location is not very safe because it's not a fancy residential zone. However, my husband and I came back late several days and walked from the bus or metro and everything was easy and safe. Taking the F line Manhattan is 4 stops away, so it's nothing and the place is quiet at night in comparison to hotels in Manhattan.

Very accessible to the subway which was only a 4-5 min walk from here! It was clean, comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly. My partner and I came straight here after a 7 hour flight. We were completely buggered and they let us wait in the reception room until our room was ready! They also put on a complimentary breakfast from 7am to 10am. I’ve seen a lot of people complain about things being “empty” or they “run out” of food before 10am. Just want to say it’s first in, first serve! If they are busy it’s likely that you’ll miss out if you’re not there promptly at 7 or 8am. We were lucky enough to enjoy breakfast on our check out day. As we slept in most days till 11am (due to NYC Sun being out till 8pm) The neighbourhood can be a little bit of a culture shock if you’re use to a certain way of living. But we absolutely loved the neighbourhood and my partner was enjoying the $3 beers from the 24/7 corner store! We also had food from there and got the real American taste! We would happily stay here again. The staff were amazing! Accomodating and always readily available if we requested anything. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels - they do have an option to reuse your towels to reduce water waste, we just didn’t know how to ask for that, and by the time we remembered to ask when coming back from our trips into NYC it was too late. They also had parking as well, and offered free wifi, toiletries and had snacks for you to purchase or add to your room if you wanted. View is spectacular as well! 10/10

The cable tv, I have a feeling they are currently upgrading everything, as we noticed a new hotel card swipe was added to the entry so you need your room key to enter the property after a certain time at night. Which is great for security purposes. But I do believe once you upgrade your tvs with apps and wifi it’ll be even more enjoyable.

I really liked the comfortable beds and pillows, and the rest of the equipment that was provided like a hairdryer, shampoo, iron for the clothes, TV. Also very positive was the fact that the hotel was providing free water to refill something very useful to have in NY. The breakfast was very decent and the staff in general were very polite and helpful. Another plus is that the hotel is very close to the subway and in 15 minutes you are in downtown Manhattan.

I didn't like the fact that there was no lock for the bathroom door.
