Ample room with kitchenette equipped with basic cooking ware, dishwasher, microwave and full size fridge. Comfy bed, shower with good water pressure. Breakfast with good selection of items and the all day help-yourself coffee station is a nice touch. Everyone we interacted with was lovely and a special shoutout to Nona who was kind enough to allow us to check in earlier so we could shower and rest after a long flight.

The area in which the hotel is located, although very convenient to visit NYC (5 min walk to the subway station and another 10 min ride into Manhattan) is a bit rough feels unsafe. I must say though that in our 4 day stay we never felt threatened in any way

Friendly service. We were allowed to check in earlier, after a night flight from Vegas. Tasty, varied breakfast. Full kitchen equipment in the room: plates, cutlery, glasses, stove, dishwasher, etc. Renovated bathroom.

The area did not look safe. The view from the window was of 4 huge chimneys. Far from the subway, about 0.7 miles.

Great staff - very friendly. Rooms were really good: large, well equipped and clean. Breakfast was really good too - a good selection of hot and cold foods, including sausages, bacon, 2 types of eggs, potatoes, waffles, and cereals, porridge and, yoghurt. The only concern was breakfast seating, which is severely limited, so get down as early as possible!

The area, on the other hand, was a bit dodgy, and the walk to and from the subway (Queensbridge) was a little anxiety-inducing. Nothing bad actually happened, but there were a few concerning characters hanging round the pavements, doing some concerning things......Definitely get a taxi from.the subway on the days you arrive and leave, so you're not walking the 10min between the station and the hotel with bags.... Otherwise, great stay and great value for New York ⁸

Staff were very friendly & helpful. Great location for getting in and out of Manhattan. Was a lot cheaper than staying in Manhattan and got a much bigger room that what you would get in Manhattan!! Took 20 mins from hotel to Lexington Ave which is brilliant. Room was like a mini apartment with great amenities! Bed was sooo comfy

Not much! It is in a bit of an 'unsafe' area for tourists but the hotel is locked at nighttime & security around the clock. I would not walk around the street alone at night.

The staff was very forthcoming and friendly, more so than what I would expect. The room has window blinds which basically make it pitch dark, perfect for light-sensitive sleepers. Luggage storage seems secure.

The breakfast area is extremely crowded basically anytime (and on one day there was hardly any warm dishes due to a late shipment). The sofa bed was not prepared, and the blanket for it was really strange.

It was a good choice, very good price-quality ratio. Smooth check-in, polite staff. Easy to find it, not far from the subway.

If you approach the hotel by public transportation, during late evening, the neighborhood may not look really safe. During breakfast the restaurant is a bit crowed, the space is to small considering the number of rooms. As result, some people take their breakfast into their rooms.

The front desk staff was fantastic! I arrived later than expected, exhausted, stressed & and bit frustrated and they brought me right out of all of that with how friendly & engaging they were. Huge shoutout to Farrel who became my “bestie” while staying.

Location, but that wasn’t the hotels fault. Financially it was the best I could afford & even though the location wasn’t in the actual city I will 100% stay here again next trip.

It is a hotel with good price/quality ratio. Due to this feature, it is a bit crowded. Not far from the subway. We been there 2 times for more days. The staff is handling quite well this number tourist.

The neighborhood was a bit strange for us, as East-European tourists , especially in the evenings. The breakfast should be a better organized.

The área was different, best to have transportation to get around. Had an amazing view of the bridge, at the correct angle, the City View, exquisite! The staff were amazing, with a few delays. I would definitely stay here again!

The room had no full-length mirrors to view, that would be an excellent addition to the room. No pool available.

The breakfast was the best part of my stay. There were fairly available options to choose from. My room had a kitchenette. It served my purpose and was helpful since i needed to make meals for my baby. Overall,my experience was food,except for the reception area that was always crowded,and the lines while waiting for the elevators.

Long queues at the reception, long wait for the elevators, and the rough neighbourhood.
