I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and had a really good experience. The staff were super nice, always helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. In our last day they let us store our luggage after check-out since our flight was in the evening, which we really appreciated. Before booking, I was a bit unsure because some reviews mentioned the neighborhood wasn't the best. It's true the area feels a bit shady, but honestly, everyone seemed to mind their own business and we never had any problems, even when returning at night. If you prefer, there’s a bus nearby that takes you straight to the subway station, but we usually just walked and it was fine. The hotel is very close to NYC — just about 10–15 minutes by metro — which was super convenient for sightseeing. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and for the price we paid, it was definitely great value. Just a heads-up: during our stay there was no breakfast offered on any day, so plan accordingly. Would definitely recommend for travelers looking for a budget-friendly stay near NYC with friendly service!

The staff demonstrated excellent customer service throughout my stay, consistently going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The hotel’s location was ideal and convenient for my stay. Additionally, every member of the team was incredibly helpful and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile.

I really enjoyed our stay, and our room with two full beds was great. The bathroom door has a sliding, translucent design, which allows some light to pass through. My only comment is regarding parking. There is valet parking available next door for a daily fee.

I wish the communication about this option had been clearer. Also there is no gym, just in case anyone wanted a gym. I saw a photo of a gym on one of the listing photo and thought that maybe there was one. Staff confirm no when I asked.

Close to the metro station and only ~15 min away from Manhattan. Staff is friendly and easy to reason with. The hotel is also very new, and the design is nice. The NY skyline view from the window was nice, and you should check out bakeries nearby (especially Levian bakery - their cookies are legendary).

This has NOTHING to do with the hotel, but rather with the City of New York - some sides of the street (typically one in the two-way traffic) are absolutely trashed. I am not sure where the city taxes are going.

The staff is what really made this hotel. They were friendly and welcoming. The property was clean and organized. It was a short walk to the train and near a few convenience stores which was nice.

If I had to say something, it would be the fact that the tv in our room didn’t work but we spent most of the time out of the hotel so it wasn’t a huge inconvenience.

Location (distance to Manhattan by metro), facilities, staff were all great and friendly overall.

Rooms are clean, but maybe something can be done about the odor of the room to get rid of the dog or dirty socks smell (washing the carpet maybe?). Third party valet parking is okay (especially if they find you more affordable street parking) but maybe a longer term solution can be found by hotel itself.

Walking distance from the F line, a green park nearby with a view on the water, and the beds are comfortable. Room cleaning was regular and quite alright!

Location was quite. The rooms are nice and spacious. The bed was super comfortable and there is no carpet. The front desk agent was super sweet. When checking in late provided us with a bag to get ice so we wouldn't have to come back down.

Room air conditioner didn't function properly. It was hard to get comfortable and get some sleep when you like the room really cold.

Great view of the manhatten skyline (with the exception of the power generating station in front but who cares), complimentary breakfast, cozy room, attentive staff, sense of safety INSIDE the building

It’s next right to the projects/ghetto so not ideal when walking back home alone at night. Not a deal breaker for me but for others it could be

The staff were understanding when I got an emergency and had to leave ahead of my booked dates. They even refunded some days. Check-in was in less than 5mins, totally good after a long 27hr travel.

Breakfast runs out if you are not an early bird. But the management said they would look into it going forward so I am not too stuffed about it.
