Reception was quick, friendly, and efficient. What made it especially superb was the little details: the invitation to go ahead and park in one of the reserved spaces because we were the last guests to arrive that evening, the offer of extra towels because I was travelling with my family. Car parking was free and convenient. The room was spacious. The plentiful, oft replenished breakfast buffet was a full meal including omelettes, sausages, bacon, bagels, and various juices. Coffee was available all day at reception. For other meals, good options are nearby: try Tavola, just next door, and further into the centre of Utica there are more places for great Italian food.

My husband and two of our children stayed at this hotel. We had a gymnastics competition in Utica, and needed to stay overnight. From the time we walked in the door, until the time we left, we felt very welcomed. We needed more towels and without hesitation the lady in the front made sure we had them within minutes! The breakfast was delicious! My kids LOVED the choices and how we could sit at tables together and eat. The beds were so comfortable and the blankets were nice and thick. You could tell this hotel takes pride in making sure their guests are happy. I loved the central air and being able to keep our room at the perfect temperature. Honestly this is the only hotel I ever want to book at!

There is nothing negative I can even say about our stay.

The breakfast was great, many more choices than I expected for a "continental" breakfast: eggs/premade mini-omelettes, a pancake machine, hash browns. Room was very comfortable with a nice sized bathroom, plus an additional sink out in the main part of the room, which is helpful. Indoor pool was nice to have, kiddo enjoyed that. Lots of restaurant options for dinner right nearby on the main road.

The pool was long and narrow, not that big: good for laps but not as much for playing which is what my child wanted to do; also the pool door didn't consistently unlock with my room keycard as it was supposed to. Also we had a first floor room not far from the lobby and things felt pretty noisy early in the morning. I could easily hear people in the hallway, a young child crying somewhere, etc.

It was clean everything was nice and fresh. The pool was nice the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The drapes do not close so in the part where you're actually near Sunshine coming on through those windows if you're sleeping it just doesn't make sense that the drapes don't close the ones that they have are very sheer and thin.

Location, cleanliness, staff, comfortable room. Travis at the front desk when checking in AND out ( I don't think he ever went home that weekend) was very personable and informative. Always ready with friendly conversation.

Honestly, there was nothing I could write about here. I have a pretty stifff checklist for choosing hotels to stay at before making a reservation. Perhaps the cost was a little on the high side, but it was a special event weekend in Utica, and it's the way of the world with supply and demand when it comes to cost.

Breakfast was delicious with lots of options, the room was clean and nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

While at the pool other guests, young adults and teens, were being very loud, kept jumping in the pool constantly and it made it hard to enjoy it with young kids. We wish the hotel staff could have stepped in as they were being very rowdy.

The bed was so comfortable. The sheets were really soft. The staff was super accommodating and nice. It was an overall great location right now restaurants and shopping.

The only thing I didn’t like is that the curtains didn’t close completely to keep the light out. it was a lack of light in the room. Maybe some brighter lightbulbs or something to brighten it up when you got the lights on

Staff member at desk was friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had eggs, sausage, hot cinnamon rolls and more. It was very good and so was the coffee. Location is great and close to a lot including the train station.

I booked 2 rooms. There was a bit of confusion with that checking in but it got figured out. Floor of lobby was being sealed so we couldn't use the elevator the first day. Luckily we were only on the second floor.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and as we had stayed there for a night a few days previously on the way to Niagra Falls we had liked it then so decided to stay again on the way back to Harrison, NY.

We were again charged twice for our room and the receptionist apologised that there was a fault in the system and assured us that the additional charge would be removed. We stayed on the ground floor this time and it was annoying to hear water constantly rushing through the pipes from the upper floor.

Spacious comfortable room. Guest laundry facilities which we did not use but convenient to have. Location close to Highway but very quiet. Lots of restaurants a few minutes walk away.

Only one person at reception. This person was away from the desk (helping someone elsewhere) when we arrived and we had to wait 15 min to check-in. There was a line up behind us of people waiting.
