We had a really great experience all around. The hotel is spotless and well appointed. Small touches made all the difference. On Friday night we were greeted but a friendly receptionist and mulled wine. We enjoyed the lounge area hang out spot with the big screen tv and board games. Our room was nicely decorated, comfy beds, really comfortable arm chairs and a nice desk to work from, if we wanted. The bathroom had a back lit mirror that we could dim the light and the tv was also back lit which provided a nice night light. In the summer the balcony would be really nice to sit in. The entryway to the room had very well thought out storage for all of our ski gear so even though we had a small space, we were able to easily fit and organize all the coats and ski boots and gear for 2 adults and 3 kids. Mini fridge was great for storing some fruit and sandwich materials. The included breakfast was a hit. For adults we enjoy yogurt, oatmeal, bagels, and coffee and the kids loved the warm chocolate croissants and orange juice. We also had a good time swimming in the pool after sling and we enjoyed “the barrel” sauna. We’d definitely stay again on our next Windham ski trip.

The only bad thing is the taste and smell of the tap water. This was not unique to the hotel though as we experienced the same at a local restaurant on main street.

The room was very large and nicely decorated. It was nice to have a private balcony. The tub in the bathroom was huge and it was great to have the heat lamp. Bed was very comfortable. The indoor pool and the sauna were a bonus! The walking trail was just outside and was a pleasant trek. Breakfast was included and it was fine.

I only have one thing I thought might be improved. Because it was cold outside, everyone ate breakfast inside and so it was tight. If it had been nice outside, it would have been fine to sit on the deck but with the cooler weather, I wish that there had been a more comfortable indoor seating arrangement.

We enjoyed our stay at hotel Vienna! The staff was wonderful and the room was very spacious and clean. Some parts of the room were a bit outdated but the bathroom was updated nicely and the parts that were outdated were easy to overlook for such a great value / price. Great location near Hunter Mountain for skiing. They also have free breakfast with coffee and pastries and cereal - loved that they had almond milk for us! Overall it is a cute good value spot.

The room felt a bit outdated especially with the old phone etc.

I would have liked more protein items at breakfast--maybe nut butters, hard boiled eggs, and a bigger variety of fresh fruit. I loved the location and surroundings. The hotel is in a beautiful setting. I walked around the property a bit--saw deer right outside my balcony window, a fox, rabbits. We got upgraded to a premium room and loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. Really magical. We also loved the proprietors. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, carrying heavy bags, changing our room when we started out next to a room with a barky German shepherd (hence the comped upgrade--it's what else was available). We came for a wedding and stayed two additional nights at the Wylder Windham. I enjoyed the view and surroundings at Hotel Vienna much more. Also the Hotel has direct access to the Windham walking path. Highly recommended.

As I said, the breakfast could have had more protein varieties, but it was adequate. I found the mattress hard; not the best for this older bod.

Great location. Hotel was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the yoga class!

Rooms are a little bare. It would be nice to have a table and a couple of chairs. The room fragrance gave us headaches but we didn’t realize we could unplug it until the last day. The pool house was too hot and steamy to enjoy in the summer. Breakfasts were a bit skimpy, particularly for those of us who can’t eat flour or sugar.

Location One of the staff, sorry do not know her name, was very personable

No coffee in room …. I’m up before sunrise….coffee not served until 7am Place to hang clothes, but no hangers No desk for PC photo editing. I guess they think you want to sit on your bed and edit…yea… NO There was a desk with 2 stools with the TV on it….i guess a place to sit while you ate as long as you didn’t want to also watch tv …and I did put my laptop there for a while, but no plugs and again…don’t watch tv while editing or using your laptop.

It was quiet, comfortable, and in a nice location. The staff was pleasant. We loved the sauna and the pool. Everything was very clean, neat, and well-maintained. The coffee machine in the breakfast area was awesome. We had cappuccinos and espresso. We also thoroughly enjoyed walking the Wyndham path every morning.

It was a simple place. If you're looking for a modern place this isn't it, but we loved it.

The property was updated - very modern, clean lines with lovely rustic features (nice rustic wood beams). Style reminded me of a ski town inn where we stayed in Filzmoos, Austria! Surroundings were super clean!!! Staff was fabulous! They were very warm, friendly, courteous, and efficient!

Our room was very dated, especially the bathroom. Fixtures were quite old. Some fine tuning is needed with detail cleaning in the bathroom: shampoo, body wash, conditioner dispensers in tub need a wipe down each time a guest leaves (orange bacteria residue had formed), bathroom mirror has toothpaste splatters that needed to be wiped down. Otherwise, generally clean. Air-conditioner/heater was confusing to figure out and air-conditioner remote control needed new batteries. Assuming rooms are up next for renovation. Hopefully, very soon!

My sister and I were traveling with a Golden Retriever. Chose this place on the basis of recommendations and because it’s pet friendly. It worked out very well for us: spotlessly clean, comfortable, and indeed friendly to us and to my sister’s big dog. Other pluses: Kind, friendly staff, and the Continental breakfast. At breakfast we especially loved the delicious croissants, which the general manager bakes fresh every morning.

No “dislikes,” but for anyone with an older pet who has difficulty navigating stairs, please be advised that there’s no elevator, and be sure to book a first-floor room.

It was a beautiful quiet location. The beds were comfortable and the staff were really helpful. Breakfast was good and it was nice to have hot beverages available all day.

I got woken by barking dogs every morning. Appreciate it’s a dog friendly hotel (which I didn’t realise when I booked) but pre 7am barking was not ideal. The bathroom was a bit dated but the bedroom was very nice.
