The property was clean. Room was acceptable with exception of lights in room. Very dimly lit.

On day one the attendant was unavailable. We had to wait for them to return from the store. Day 2 the management team was very professional. And overall for the most part all of the employees were very professional. With the exception of checkout on sunday. Myself as well as other guests were told at 830 am there was no breakfast. Then as we went to check out we had to search for the attendant to the point that we had to call on the phone which he never came and answered. To me his professionalism was very unprofessional and unacceptable.

This is where we stay whenever we visit Elizabeth City!

The staff needs to dress more professionally because they look like they just came off of the street. They should at least have on some type of uniform with the hotel logo. No bonnets, dirty shirts, no leggings.. Just more professional. Outside of that they were very friendly.

The staff were very nice. The hotel was clean, especially since I came seeking refuge from the gross quality inn down the street.

Honestly, it was a place to sleep for the night, the staff were really accommodating. Nothing to write home about, but comfortable and clean enough to get a good night's rest.

The location was very good.

The hallways smelled of marijuana…weed! The staff was very unprofessionally dressed. Never have I stay at a hotel where the staff didn’t have the appropriate shirts that represented the brand and NEVER have I stayed at a hotel where the staff dressed in ripped up jeans, half tops showing their stomachs and letting friends just hang out. One staff member had on a wet t-shirts (showing inappropriate breast )and bikini bottoms. Not professional at all. They were friendly.

I found everyone friendly and the facility clean and seemed well maintained.

When my husband entered the lobby to check in the person on duty was talking to someone. After waiting several minutes he found out it was a casual non business conversation. The person on duty also told my brother the lobby bathroom was broken. My brother being a 67 y\o man needed to go after being in the car several hours and the check in was talking way to long considering we had reservations. Again the guy at the desk was highly unprofessional and almost made an old man soil himself. Not right!

Location, comfort and price

Toilet didn’t work. Shower wouldn’t drain. Fixed toilet after we checked in but never came back next day to fix after we walked across the street and told them at 8am Indoor Pool was supposed to be heated and one of the reasons we booked it. Was ice cold. Kids couldn’t swim.

Breakfast was great and staff was wonderful.

I was charged for a full day after checking out 3hrs late, due to a lengthy court case. General Manager was extremely rude and had awful customer service skills.

The bed

The hot water didn't work in the shower and the carpet needed a good shampoo. I stay here every time I visit the area abd overall it was pretty good. They just need more stores and a mall.

All the staff was always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the 24 hour coffee was very nice. Also the refrigerator and microwave in the room was a nice feature. My room, the reception area and the breakfast room were all kept very clean.

This is an older motel and has changed its name 2 or 3 times in 4 years. Ice machines haven't worked well for 2 years. I visit EC 2x a year. Beds are a bit soft and maybe little lumpy. Had to unplug the alarm clock as it had a nasty habit of buzzing every now and then (I did not notify anyone). None of my criticism is of the staff as not one of these problems are their responsibility.

The rates are always good in our opinion. The hotel always looks clean and the breakfast is great.

We really don't like having to wait to check in after long drive. There is different staff and they aren't all cordial, too preoccupied during check in. We also don't like the door for adjoining rooms. When we first started staying there things were much better, now I feel like we get thrown into any room because we aren't local guest.
