The staff was amazing. The front desk lady was so lovely. She tried so much to help us when booking.com messed up the reservation. The lobby was nice and seemed like a great setup! Would definitely stay here I'm the future!

Note that the negative review is ONLY for booking.com and NOT the hotel! While I received confirmation from booking.com , when we arrived, there was no reservation in the hotel's system. We were not able to stay, as there were no rooms, but the front desk woman was incredibly kind and tried to help in every way. I would absolutely stay at the hotel in the future, just because she was so lovely!!

The area works for us. We have stayed at this property at least 4 different times.

We tried to charge our phones and they didn't work with 2 different chargers. I went to the desk and asked if they had an adapter to plug in and the clerk looked and told me if she found one she would bring it to the room. About 5 minutes she came to the room with adapter!!! Very helpful!!! Something I did not like, I was a bit early to check in and the girl told us they had a room ready and if I wanted to check in early there would be a 25.00 fee! for an hour!

From check-in to check-out we had a great experience. The people were so nice and accomodating, the room was just right, the shower was nice and hot, there was actually soap that we could lather up with and use! Plenty of towels, the breakfast was good and always stocked up. it was just the best experience we've had at a hotel in a very long time. We come up every year to NC and have stayed at several different hotels in the same area, but we have found our "go-to" hotel now!

Even though we go to NC every year, we still like to check out restaurants, etc. On their bulletin board we noticed the list of eateries in the area was printed out in 2021, and some of them aren't there anylonger, so an updated list would be helpful.

Room was very, very clean and staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful. Bed was super comfortable and lots of pillows. I like that I could get tea or coffee at any time in the lobby- they had a good selection. Good sized fridge in the room, plus a microwave.

The only negative was the bath towels- they were an odd material and did not absorb well.

Breakfast was gone quick and not replenished other guests were like vultures ate it all up and we are early birds mountain bike enthusiasts came down to ride was looking forward to some fresh eggs had to go elsewhere for breakfast

we had a spot on the floor that was extremely slippery. my husband and I both almost fell. we reported it to the office. we were told it was probably something housekeeping used on the floor and they would address it. it was never taken care of. we tried cleaning it and gave up. we finally put a towel over it. hoping no one else got hurt.

Tucked away from all the excitement l; so you can enjoy what the property has to offer including a gym. There’s (2) restaurants plus a cocino

someone’s dog was barking off & on for most of the night. Apparently this wasn’t the 1st time. The guy is out all night; so maybe he works night shift. The bed was very comfortable; except even with the pillows over my head just wasn’t muffing the barking enough to get that nice deep sleep that I was hoping to have. I was driving 13) hours that day, and the same for the previous 2) days coming from Washington state. Lord was kind enough to help me to reach Southport NC late this afternoon and I can’t wait to get a Really Good Night sleep!😵😴😴😵

Location was great. Close to everything.

our air conditioning sounded like it was getting ready to stop. It was cooling ok but made so much noise that my husband just turned it off. We tried just using the fan, but it sounded the same way. Thank goodness the weather had cooled off and we slept ok.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. It was a relatively quiet place and it was conveniently close to pretty much anything you could need. (Less than 5 minutes from Walmart, fast food, Dunkin, etc)

The breakfast was fine for a free breakfast but it was kind of bare minimum and limited options.

Quiet. Great value. Will be even better in a few weeks.

They were clearly in the middle of upgrades - deliveries of new AC units, cabinets, etc. While it was off-putting at first, it did not affect my stay. Might be different for a family wanting to chill in the lobby area. This was obviously a short-term issue.
