Our room was on the lower level at the back of the hotel. Nice view from there! Parking was directly at the door, which we love. The room was clean and everything worked aok. Comfortable beds, nice pillows. The breakfast was good. Lots to choose from. Everything in Berlin is neat as a pin! Including this motel.

Not sure where the water sounds were coming from... next door? Upstairs? Seemed like we could hear a lot of flushing and water running. A bit annoying, but, I supposed plumbing noises are unavoidable sometimes. We did not realize most everything closes on Sundays... note to others to be aware of this. Otherwise, no complaints!

This is a great place to stay. I've been here several times, and I plan to return again in the future. Rooms are nicely appointed and clean, breakfast is really good, too. One thing to keep in mind....if you're traveling with a pet, and you're booking online, BE SURE to book one of the rooms that state 'pet friendly room' when you select your room. This place has specific rooms that are for pet owners, and if you book a room that doesn't designate that it's for pets, you will not be allowed to check in. I made this mistake once and it ruined my 1 nt stay in the area. Don't make the same mistake I did.

We liked that we could stay in nice room accompanied by our dog.Add the pretty view and park to walk! We were walking distance to places to eat and shop. By vehicle we were less than 30 minutes from various venues. The room was clean, decent continental breakfast. All the staff we met were courteous, cheerful and helpful. We will stay again if opportunity becomes available.

I felt bad for staff members that had to multitask simultaneously. During a very busy season and many guests were dealt with challenges as best as possible very promptly, courteously.

Location, clean rooms, common room for playing games

Staff. Not friendly. Cold and should have been more accommodating. We booked online and were traveling in same vehicle with friends. They were placed at the “annex”. Well guess what…the Annex Is a five minute drive away from the main location (where our room was). When asked to put us together it was $80 more PER NIGHT. Cold and lack of compassion for sure. Unpleasant surprise when visiting what we thought was a warm family owned facility (we have family owned businesses and try NOT to be this way)

We didn’t eat breakfast there . We ate at the der Dutchman it was so good .

The only thing I needed a room that my husband would walk right in from the parking lot . Her has a lot of trouble with his knees and back and we needed up with a room at the very end of the hall number 232. But there was an exit door right outside our room so it helped I would come in the front way and let him in and out the side door . Over all we really enjoyed our stay the staff was really nice and the rooms was really nice and clean .

This has been our go-to hotel for several years. We love the location and the price.

The beds are hard. This hasn’t always been a problem. It may just be that we are getting older and our bodies hurt more. Also, there was too much noise on the upper level in the morning. We have stayed on the lower level and the upper level. This trip we were on the upper level and were awakened by all the noise in the hallway outside our room. Vacuums were running, people talking, and housekeeping knocking loudly on doors before 8 am.

The room was very clean and we had plenty of room to move around. The white bedspread and sheets were not stained and looked as if they were brand new. The only thing was the bed was more firmer than I am used to. The lady at the check in desk was delightful. All the employees we met were very nice. There is also a beautiful deck on the back of the hotel overlooking the valley. The view was beautiful. The hotel is near shopping and eateries. I would stay there again.

checking in was good. Food for breakfast was fine and room was clean. i DID not like the Booking sending us to the additional facility and found out it had many, many steps. I call the night before and was given a room at the main building which was more convenient for us as I have back issues. I thanked the lady who did this for us and appreciated it much.

Floor in our room needed to be vacuumed more as attention could have been paid to that. The bed needs to be updated as I am particular about beds.

Beds were comfortable, we stayed on the bottom floor around back and could park right in front of the door , so convenient to carry things in , I was concerned about noise from the room above but we never heard anything. Maybe nobody was staying in that room but it was very quiet, beautiful view of Amish country , convenient to shops in Berlin , easy to walk around.

I did not like the $50 incidental fee , Of course we got it back a couple days later , but I think that’s a bit high , what is it even for ? Used to be long distance calls , or buying snacks in the room 😟 Don’t have that anymore

The breakfast was good, they had some of the usual continental breakfast items plus Jimmy Dean sandwiches you could heat up and some fruit. The room and property was all very clean. Staff was nice and helpful.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, my husband and I woke up with back pain each morning. It was a last minute reservation for us, but we couldn’t bring our kids here. There’s no pool or hot tub or any extra things to do after shops close at 5-6pm each day.
