The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was almost a bed and breakfast vibe. The room we chose, which we paid extra for, had a very nice view of the countryside. Unlike 90 % of the rooms I stay in, the heating/cooling system was just right --no waking in the night too hot or too cold. Two recliners were very comfortable. The shower was big and the style was unique.

The carpet needed to be stretched. We paid extra for the balcony but it was so small we never used it. The two sink counters seemed to be stone. Really appreciated what they were trying to do. However, they looked terrible! I was told by a desk person that the cleaning solution they used during COVID was the culprit. The positioning of the bed in front of the window allowed for a gr at view but only one night stand. Therefore, one person had access to the light switch and outlets for phone charging.

This was our second stay at the Wallhouse Hotel and I will definitely go back again. Our room was great…big king bed and a zero-edge walk-in shower. What I appreciated the most were the two recliner/rockers in our room. Most hotels have a desk chair and an arm chair for seating and that’s just not comfortable, nor is sitting on the bed. It was great to be able to sit comfortably with my feet up after being on the go all day.

We loved the cookies and breakfast offering. The bed is comfortable and I love the shower. Everything is always fresh and clean. The staff was phenomenal. They were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed talking to them, especially the woman setting up and stocking the breakfast. The woman working the front desk was helpful with great suggestions on places to visit.

One suggestion I would make is the ability to charge an electric car. We check every year to see if we are able to drive and charge our Tesla and it would be great if we could have that option.

I loved how clean and quiet it was. It was the beginning of the off season in Amish country, but everything was still open as if it were the middle of summer. The pool and hot tub were heated and indoors but they have a beautiful sundeck and patio with lots of chairs and a couple of fire pits too. The staff was helpful and super friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located across the highway from the Der Dutchman restaurant and is very central. 5 miles both ways from Sugarcreek and Berlin.

I liked everything

Modern appliances and the balcony. My 9 year old granddaughter loved the eggs for breakfast and she is hard to please. Loved the fact the pool and hot tub is open late so you can go to shops and still have plenty of time to swim. It's close to shops and the shows. The nice lady at the desk said there is 24 hour hot chocolate and coffee.

Nothing. Maybe have your paper towels out in open for immediate spills. Most kitchenette's have them around the sink not under the sink. I ended up grabbing a bath towel.

Everything there was first rate! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The woman who ran the breakfast area was great. She made everyone feel welcome and the breakfast was delicious! We had a do not disturb sign on our door and the staff hung fresh towels and coffee on our door handle every morning. The entire hotel was very clean! I would recommend this place to anyone!

Not one thing!

I like staying here. The facilities are good. Breakfast is good. It is quiet. It's very clean. I like the outside sitting area. If you know the area it is close to a lot of Amish country. It is always a 10 for me here. The only reason I might not stay is if the rate is high on a particular day (which means other places are also high) I will find something else or wait for a better day rate. I stayed at the Ritz on Grand Cayman and it's not as nice as the Wall house.

Sometimes the price gets too high but it's probably busy and I would want to wait for a less busy time because the other things I do will be crowded too.

Clean, spacious, modern room. Quiet. Attractive decor throughout the hotel. Room lighting was very good. Of course the mini kitchen was nice. Great selection of TV programming. The rocker/recliner was very comfy.

A card explaining hotel amenities and breakfast times would have been helpful. A slightly larger table between the beds would be nice.

Very clean and quiet. The staff are exceptional. Best breakfast in any hotel/inn that I have stayed at.

It's not really a complaint. But, I just wish that the outdoor fire pits were lit for longer. We went out at 10, and they were off.

Clean and comfortable. The pool area is nice but unable to enjoy it due to drunk adults and teenage boys ruining the experience for others. Most of the staff are very helpful and kind. One in particular never smiled-lacked self awareness of body language.

That there is an upgrade charge to request a room on the back of the hotel so that I don’t have to listen to traffic (semi trucks) throughout the night. That there is no one policing the pool - drunk adults at the pool/hot tub/fire pit ruining the experience for other guests.
