We loved our stay here! We usually book a VRBO or Air B&B but because we planned this trip spontaneously, there was not much available, so we opted for a hotel. Both my husband & I both agree that this was a better stay than most rentals we have stayed in. The room was comfortable with two recliners, and the bed was SOO comfy. The breakfast daily was also great. In addition, we happened to be there on a Sunday when almost all the restaurants are closed in the area. The management was kind enough to put together an evening meal for us as well as breakfast. I thought that was going above & beyond. We will be back to this hotel without a doubt!!

The room was spacious, quiet, clean and relaxing. Good view and in a great location. The lady (Margaret) that ran the front desk was very friendly and accommodating. It was like she was a step ahead of me on everything I needed. I will definitely come back here on my next trip. We arrived on a Sunday evening and in Amish Country everything is shut down on Sunday. They provided a meal for us to make our stay that much more relaxing and less stressful. After a long drive it was nice to not worry about finding a location to eat.

The bed was too soft for us, but I am used to a firm mattress, so it's a personal preference not a quality issue. The mattress was in good shape unlike some hotels I've stayed at that were sunken in where you lay.

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. There was almost a bed and breakfast vibe. The room we chose, which we paid extra for, had a very nice view of the countryside. Unlike 90 % of the rooms I stay in, the heating/cooling system was just right --no waking in the night too hot or too cold. Two recliners were very comfortable. The shower was big and the style was unique.

The carpet needed to be stretched. We paid extra for the balcony but it was so small we never used it. The two sink counters seemed to be stone. Really appreciated what they were trying to do. However, they looked terrible! I was told by a desk person that the cleaning solution they used during COVID was the culprit. The positioning of the bed in front of the window allowed for a gr at view but only one night stand. Therefore, one person had access to the light switch and outlets for phone charging.

The room was clean and I had problems with the blind it was very hard to open. It actually hurt my hand when I was pulling it up. There should’ve been two nightstands on each side of the bed. There was only one. The bathroom towel were nice … my favorite was the outside fire pit and hot tub was nice too bifold doors for help when it got real hot and humid in the pool area

This was our second stay at the Wallhouse Hotel and I will definitely go back again. Our room was great…big king bed and a zero-edge walk-in shower. What I appreciated the most were the two recliner/rockers in our room. Most hotels have a desk chair and an arm chair for seating and that’s just not comfortable, nor is sitting on the bed. It was great to be able to sit comfortably with my feet up after being on the go all day.

We loved the cookies and breakfast offering. The bed is comfortable and I love the shower. Everything is always fresh and clean. The staff was phenomenal. They were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed talking to them, especially the woman setting up and stocking the breakfast. The woman working the front desk was helpful with great suggestions on places to visit.

One suggestion I would make is the ability to charge an electric car. We check every year to see if we are able to drive and charge our Tesla and it would be great if we could have that option.

The room was lovely. Loved the balcony the view was gorgeous. Loved the shower. Loved the recliners. The small kitchen nook was unexpected!! Breakfast was better than any we've had. Great location! We will definitely stay again. Looking forward to using the pool and hot tub!

Maybe a little better lighting in the bathroom. Other than that not a thing.

I loved how clean and quiet it was. It was the beginning of the off season in Amish country, but everything was still open as if it were the middle of summer. The pool and hot tub were heated and indoors but they have a beautiful sundeck and patio with lots of chairs and a couple of fire pits too. The staff was helpful and super friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is located across the highway from the Der Dutchman restaurant and is very central. 5 miles both ways from Sugarcreek and Berlin.

I liked everything

Modern appliances and the balcony. My 9 year old granddaughter loved the eggs for breakfast and she is hard to please. Loved the fact the pool and hot tub is open late so you can go to shops and still have plenty of time to swim. It's close to shops and the shows. The nice lady at the desk said there is 24 hour hot chocolate and coffee.

Nothing. Maybe have your paper towels out in open for immediate spills. Most kitchenette's have them around the sink not under the sink. I ended up grabbing a bath towel.

Everything there was first rate! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The woman who ran the breakfast area was great. She made everyone feel welcome and the breakfast was delicious! We had a do not disturb sign on our door and the staff hung fresh towels and coffee on our door handle every morning. The entire hotel was very clean! I would recommend this place to anyone!
