Several family members booked rooms at the Holiday inn Express in Millersburg so we could attend our grandson's wedding. My husband and I normally stay in another hotel chain but this Holiday inn Express was recommended and reasonable so many of us booked here. Hubby and I are both over 70, so I was thrilled that we were booked so close to the main lobby, as I am also recovering from a knee surgery and walking right now is very difficult! Access back and forth to our room was so simple. The room itself was large and bright, clean, with a nice big open bathroom, also a microwave and mini fridge. There's a Walmart down the street, and also some restaurants close by. We took advantage of the East of Chicago Pizza shop. The one thing we all noticed was our concierge, Ray, at the front desk was so attentive to our every need. Super friendly guy with a great personality and good attitude, even though we noticed he was working long hours 3 days in a row! The day after the wedding, several family members met up in the dining area to spend time together, playing cards and eating pizza. Ray even checked on us to see if we needed paper plates or anything when our pizza was delivered. We seriously were so impressed with this guy! That evening another young man at the desk, (didn't get his name, I'm so sorry!) gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Bags, just a few blocks away. And then when we checked out on our last day, two super friendly ladies, Anne and Shannon, helped us, and they too were personality plus. We enjoyed the breakfast room a couple days and everything was delicious with a great assortment of breakfast foods, juices and coffee. I really can't tell you how impressed I was in every way with this Holiday inn Express, and think you have an absolutely terrific staff. Big thanks to housekeeping as well for a nice clean room. I think we are about to change hotel chains and make Holiday Inn our new go-to.

Can't complain about a thing!

Free breakfast every morning and coffee bar 24 hrs is great for those who drink coffee and or tea anytime. Decaf, regular, hot water, tea bags, etc. Awesome 👌

There are quite a few people who have to wear c pap machines, more than anyone even knows. I think distilled water should be available at the desk for those needing it. Regular water can't be used in the machines. Also the bed we slept in was very soft and my husband had trouble sleeping on it. I had booked a king room, when we arrived we were given a double room we had to come back down, show him our confirmation and he stated I'll see if I have one available. I told him if he didn't give us a Suite for the same price, since it was their screw up. He quickly found us one and even ask what floor we wanted. We stay there at least 2 times every year when we come to Amish country. It was just a little aggravating upon checking in but it was corrected.

This relatively new hotel was one of the better hotels I have stayed in lately. The staff was super friendly and helpful, guest laundry was free, and breakfast was good. The rooms were spacious, modern and clean. The hotel is located within walking distance to a major grocery store and a very nice diner.

The hotel is about a mile from the town center, making access to their restaurants a bit tougher when traveling by bicycle.

The staff and the facilities and the breakfast was all great. Tangie went out of the way to make this right for us do to a little mix up with the rooms.

The fact that our friends we took with us had a very bad experience with Jeffery charging their credit card after she had paid 100% a week prior to our stay. This issue is suppose to be checked into when General Mge gets back from his vacation.

The hotel was clean and extremely well organized. The breakfast was fantastic, people constantly replenishing and cleaning. This was the most extensive hotel breakfast we have had. Thought that alone was worth the price. The most pleasant surprise of all though was the free laundry. Traveling with kids we always have a need to do laundry, and being able to do that for free was a huge help. There were quite a few staff members that went above and beyond to go out of their way for us, including helping us with some dessert for a friends house. Our family enjoyed talking with Paul at breakfast. We appreciated the kindness and hospitality.

The check in/check out process for us could have been improved. We waited 15 minutes to check out while the woman at the desk took a phone call. The supervisor did mention something to her about that when she came out to resolve an issue with the bill. The only downside to the room was that there was no separation between living and bedroom area so for a family with little ones, there is no separate space to put a smaller child to bed earlier. We understand those types of rooms aren’t offered at that hotel, and we would still stay here again in the future.

Staff was amazing, very helpful! Overall property was clean and well maintained. Very nice outside patio area. There was no remote in the room and the clerk quickly got us a new one. When leaving, the clerk, same person as when we checked in but I do t know his name, gladly assisted me with ice for the road. And something I felt endearing, as breakfast was winding down, multiple staff members were sitting together eating, like a family. Oh, the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had!!

We had a pet, therefore requiring a pet room. The room smelled like a pet though. Like a dirty dog. I TOTALLY get it would be difficult to control odor but I’d think as a hotel they’d have something a little better. But the room was CLEAN!

Rooms were clean and staff was friendly. Shower was nice and coffee in the lobby at all times was a pleasant treat,. Pizza place a crossed the way is good.

Beds were a little softer then we are used to but still comfortable. Trucks were loud on the road as we had a room facing that side, it wasent non stop but just something to think of if you have noise issues may want to ask for a rear facing room.

Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Location was great for our purposes.

The mattress was too soft. Lots of traffic passing at night - audible if you get a roadside room. Breakfast choices were poor by European standards - plastic cutlery and plastic food! But the positives outweighed the negatives.

The room was great. It was right next to the door so walking the dog was easy. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The pool was heated and great for the kids. The staff was exceptional at handling the issues. Great stay. Will come again.

There were issues with me booking through booking.com and ended up the hotel charging me for fees I should not have paid since I did my booking through booking.com, so hopefully that will resolve soon.

From the point of arrival until departure it exceeded expectations! Front desk, the room and the facilities were perfect. I've traveled for business and have been in many hotels in multiple states and cities over the past few years. I only wish what I found here would have been more common!
