Waypoint Hotel is one of my favorite hotels where I stayed in the US. The room was very spacious with a California King Size bed, a comfortable couch and a large desk to work on. There are a jacuzzi and swimming pool outside and the shower in the room is high enough for a 6”5 tall person. Last but definitely not least, I loved the hotel lobby with fireplace and comfy couches, perfect place to read a book and enjoy one of their craft beers. All with all, I loved staying here!

On a snowy cold winter, we stumbled across Waypoint on our drive through Bend, OR. This little hotel, seemingly not in the most popular side of the city but close to downtown, midtown yatch club (food trucks), grocery stores, has delivered everything we needed and more. It was very warm, clean, incredibly comfy bed, quiet, and friendly helpful staff at the front desk and in the bar. There was a microwave, a mini fridge, coffee maker in our room. I enjoyed my shower very much. There was a hot tub I didn't use but seemed quiet popular.

Great big family room with 2 king size beds in one room, and a queen bed in another room. The beds are and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Big TV, plenty of space for storage. There is a safe box available. Enough towels and shampoo/conditioners/lotions. Additional touches, such as makeup demaquiage wipes are a nice touch. It's a close 10-15 minute walk to the downtown (but if you decide walking, you need to pass under the railroad).

If you have mobility issues, you might have difficulty with bringing your suitcases up the stairs to the 2nd floor (in our case it was not a problem, so that is just a warning) The bathroom is shared for two rooms, and consists of a large sink outside of the bathroom (in the room, not in the bathroom). while the bathroom itself has only a bathtub with shower and toilet, very limited in space. For management: I would suggest adding some nice touches to the bathroom itself.

The staff was super convenient, sweet, nice, had extra towels in room, plus gave my husband and I dog sheets for our boy! The room was super clean, house keeping was amazing, text us with room updates and offering house keeping, simple online, easy check in and out!

Unfortunately the hot tub wasn't working, the heating element went out the day before we got there. They were super polite and had repair man there Monday morning!

Excellent place to stay. Rooms are really well set up, plenty of space and room for storing ski gear and luggage. Bed was so comfortable. Shower is a great pressure and a great relief after skiing. Hot tub is also great. The best part is the service and attentiveness to the traveller's needs. The hotel was in contact several times prior to the stay to find out the reasons for our travel and our needs. We also got a lovely Christmas basket from them which was really appreciated. Great reception area with a fire and couches, really enjoyed sitting down having a drink and talking to people.

It would have been great if there was daily room service rather than every third night, but it is not a big deal. They just need hooks in the bathroom to be able to hang your towel if you need to reuse it. But this issue is standard in every single hotel I have ever stayed in.

Great location, located near everything you want to check out in Bend. The vibes of the communal areas is impeccable, great team at reception and the bar team is also super friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks are cheap and delicious

Shame they don’t offer bike rentals (one of the pictures of the property features bicycles which mislead us to think we could rent some there).

Nice room with separate beds for 3 guys travelling by my motorcycle. We were able to check in a few hours early which was very much appreciated. Gave us time to see more of Bend. Staff recommended McKay Cottage for breakfast, which was an excellent choice.

Location, while convenient (a block off the highway), is at the intersection of a couple of busy roads, so more noise at night. But I understand it's a trade-off, the convenient location for a little more noise.

Dog friendly, comfortable and big rooms. The rooms were newly renovated and had a modern feel. They treated our 3 year old golden retriever with a lot of love giving him his own bed , towels and treats. Would definitely visit again if traveling with a dog

Rooms were renovated but bathrooms were not which made it still feel like a motel (which is pretty much is) The pool is in the middle of a parking lot making it less appealing

The room was very large compared to most king-size rooms and very clean. The walk-in shower was large, with good pressure and tons of hot water. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and quite awesome! The Black Bear Diner was a short walk through the parking lot.

There was nothing we didn't like. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Everything seemed clean but floors will turn your feet black. So obviously have not been cleaned in a while. Bring shoes or slippers to wear around the room. Front desk staff seemed okay. Not super friendly but also not off putting. Everything else was nice. Lots of room to hang your things. Conveniently close to blockbuster and the black bear diner.
