I was hesitant about booking this hotel because I usually do not like hotels with exterior doors to the rooms. However, don’t let that detour you from booking this hotel. It was one of the cleanest, best kept, and most updated hotels we have stayed at. We booked a premium king on the upper floor (where pets are not allowed), and the room was very spacious with a great layout and comfortable furniture. Bathroom was huge, with a sink and large countertop both inside and right outside the bathroom door. Loved the nicely decorated lobby, bar area and outdoor fire pit and seating area. Close to charming downtown with lots of cute shops and good restaurants. Bartender did mention they were recently bought out, so not sure how that may change things going forward.

Did not use the pool, so cannot comment on it, it appeared to be well kept, but it was right off the parking lot.

The family suite was a great room for the value. It was well stocked with toiletries and supplies.

It was advertised as a downtown hotel and it is definitely not downtown and not knowing the area that was a little disappointing. I also didn’t love the location of the pool and hot tub being in the parking lot was a little bit awkward and the mesh fence was very aesthetically pleasing, however the pool and the hot tub were super clean the towels were always stocked everything was perfect!

We LOVED this hotel! The look and architecture was impressive. The location was great. Our room was very nice; bed was VERY comfortable, the grass area around the hotel was fantastic for aesthetics and for our dog; pool area was great; loved the fire pit area; and the staff was very nice and accommodating.

The wifi situation was messed up. I couldn't log on to my laptop because it was a public wifi set up (no password access) so I kept getting an "not secure" notification.

The location is great - close to the freeway, close to downtown, easy to access walking trails... the staff was helpful and the rooms were very well appointed and clean.

The property is a renovated motel so the rooms are not soundproof. We were in a corner room so there were no issues but loud neighbors could make for an noisy experience. The pool was in the center of the property, easy to access, but had no shade (umbrellas, trees) so it was hot and very bright near the water.

Waypoint Hotel is one of my favorite hotels where I stayed in the US. The room was very spacious with a California King Size bed, a comfortable couch and a large desk to work on. There are a jacuzzi and swimming pool outside and the shower in the room is high enough for a 6”5 tall person. Last but definitely not least, I loved the hotel lobby with fireplace and comfy couches, perfect place to read a book and enjoy one of their craft beers. All with all, I loved staying here!

On a snowy cold winter, we stumbled across Waypoint on our drive through Bend, OR. This little hotel, seemingly not in the most popular side of the city but close to downtown, midtown yatch club (food trucks), grocery stores, has delivered everything we needed and more. It was very warm, clean, incredibly comfy bed, quiet, and friendly helpful staff at the front desk and in the bar. There was a microwave, a mini fridge, coffee maker in our room. I enjoyed my shower very much. There was a hot tub I didn't use but seemed quiet popular.

Great older motel, which has been remodeled with a mid-century vibe. The lobby is cool and has a bar with great tap beers. Right next to the lobby is an outdoor area with fire pits where people were hanging out and playing games.

Everything was good. I was worried about the parking lot because we had a lot of gear in the car, which I didn’t want to have to haul up to the room, but it was all very safe and clean with our experience.

I love the online check in. It was super easy and the room was very clean! It was spacious, quiet and it was nice to be able to park your car next to the room. The area was fine and centrally located. I absolutely loved that the pool was deep!! 9ft!

I wish the pool area had a bit of updating. It's from the 70s and the pebbled asphalt was painful. The hot tub had a funky smell as well. If mothballs were wet and chlorine.

The staff was super convenient, sweet, nice, had extra towels in room, plus gave my husband and I dog sheets for our boy! The room was super clean, house keeping was amazing, text us with room updates and offering house keeping, simple online, easy check in and out!

Unfortunately the hot tub wasn't working, the heating element went out the day before we got there. They were super polite and had repair man there Monday morning!

Great big family room with 2 king size beds in one room, and a queen bed in another room. The beds are and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. Big TV, plenty of space for storage. There is a safe box available. Enough towels and shampoo/conditioners/lotions. Additional touches, such as makeup demaquiage wipes are a nice touch. It's a close 10-15 minute walk to the downtown (but if you decide walking, you need to pass under the railroad).

If you have mobility issues, you might have difficulty with bringing your suitcases up the stairs to the 2nd floor (in our case it was not a problem, so that is just a warning) The bathroom is shared for two rooms, and consists of a large sink outside of the bathroom (in the room, not in the bathroom). while the bathroom itself has only a bathtub with shower and toilet, very limited in space. For management: I would suggest adding some nice touches to the bathroom itself.
