Situated in a great location next to the ocean , this quiet sleepy area has a calming relaxing energy to it , I especially loved the area and the rest I got from staying there , the golf course is a definite must play , straight down wind course not to difficult for most , but each to their own, I did venture out to the town of seaside nice little town nice shops around and places to eat , recommend checking it out , I would stay here again and do recommend this property.

Not much in the way facilities like swimming pool , theater , or what most of the other property have (although a tv was provided in the room )

We liked the location, the restaurant, the coffee service by the elevators in the morning. The bed was very comfortable. Charming ambiance, friendly staff.

No plugs near the head of the bed - I use a CPAP machine, and like to charge my phone next to my bed. I had to pull the bed away from the wall and unplug the lamp to plug my two devices in. We had a hard time heating the room, which was pretty cold when we arrived. Could hear our neighbors loud and clear through the walls. We suspect that was why earplugs are offered in the nightstands?

Front Desk staff - “Shelby” -was absolutely amazing, there was a hiccup with our reservation between booking .com and their computer system, but she more than made up for it and upgraded our room too at no cost to us, in fact made it cheaper, because the glitch got missed, Shelby went above and beyond to make our stay a great one, truly appreciative of how much she did to make our stay wonderful!!! She is the kind of staff member you would want to meet at every hotel, she does it right , takes care of her customers and does it with a smile 😊 on her face. Shelby !!! I have no complaints, was a wonderful stay.

This was my first stay at a McMenamin's property and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were very accommodating. They provided a guest package for our dogs which was much appreciated and helped us feel welcome. The wood paneling and decor of the annex where we stayed was unique and beautiful. The room was very quiet and we were able to get a lot of rest in the comfortable bed. We enjoyed watching a group of elk cross the golf course and head towards the beach around sunset.

Both the check-in and check-out process were quick and easy. All the food was good.

The service was OK, but it took a long time for us to get our food. Maybe they were shorthanded on cooks that day. Also, there were no tea bags at the coffee station, but the nice gal at the check-in desk went in the back and brought out a whole teapot just for me. Now that's going the extra mile to satisfy your customer. (I wish I knew her name so I could give her kudos.)

The room was just wonderful. Not modern, but very tasteful vintage-ish furnishings. Exceptionally agreeable restaurant staff (I brought a bottle of wine from my personal wine cellar in another state).

It was unsettling to read about the potential for loud golf course maintenance activities as early as 0500, but then I noticed the earplugs in the bedside drawer.

It was such a great location, close to the beach and far enough away from the busy, touristy area of Seaside. I've never seen such a spotlessly clean room especially considering it was a pet-friendly room and near the beach. Our room was large, comfortable and had a lovely view of the golf course. We didn't have time to dine there but we appreaciated all the options. Lots of dogs at the property and yet it was so peaceful and quiet.

The room was nice and cool and very clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful. And the food was delicious. The view of golf course while having breakfast was fabulous! It was also nice to come down in the morning to options of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.

There wasn’t anything that I did not like. And to get away from the heat in Portland for 30° cooler was perfect!

Location was great, McMenamins has a unique style which was great for our cozy room. Bathroom was roomy and the shower worked well. Staff was friendly and they have bikes! Good time had by both of us.

Maybe a magnifying mirror in the bathroom?

Love the cozy comfort of McMenamins. This room has lots of windows and a great view of the golf course. Food was great too!

Weather could have been better but that’s not controllable.
