We stayed at the Drifthaven for two nights and it was absolutely amazing. We loved the location as we were able to walk to the adorable coffee shop across the street every morning and we also enjoyed the quiet neighborhood the Drifthaven was located in. Our room was clean, cozy, homey, and beautifully decorated. One of our favorite parts of our stay was enjoying the fresh pastries and fruit that the staff dropped off at our door step every morning. Overall stay was 10/10!

What a lovely place to spend two nights near Gearhart's beautiful beach. The location, also near Cannon Beach and Ecola State Park, was perfect and very welcoming. Great staff, cocktails upon arrival and a breakfast basket at our door every morning. The suite / cabin we had was well equipped, lots of extra goodies (wine, cookies etc. - not included) waiting for us, and we enjoyed the cozy layout. Definitely recommend this place for an Oregon coast getaway!

The parking lot is not very generous, and if all cottages are occupied, getting in and out may be an issue. Also, I would add an extra shower curtain to make sure water does not splash in the bathroom.

Such a cute little hotel! I loved all the retro mcm decor . The staff were super attentive And kind. We were greeted with free mocktails (we don’t drink) and doggie treats and blankets. The breakfast delivered to the door was the cherry on top! We only stayed one night but enjoyed the stay.

The room is small and the beds are on the floor but very comfortable. As a larger person I was a bit uneasy in the bathroom, tight angles and not much room to maneuver around.

Drifthaven is an excellent coastal destination with clean and well complemented rooms. The most amazingly comfortable king bed with goose down pillows. Abby is delightful and her communication and customer service exemplary. Abby makes a delicious rum cocktail and has so much to share about local attractions and restaurants in the immediate area. The staff at Drifthaven have thought of everything from bicycles and firewood bundles.

We did not experience anything that we did not like.

Location was great and the cottage was impeccably clean and very nicely decorated. The staff was polite and friendly. Perfect for a couples’ getaway.

The cottage was really small and I would not recommend for groups larger than 3 adults. Even the largest room that we booked was pretty tight. While the decor was lovely we found it not always functional. Lastly, we were a group of 5 adults and breakfast was only provided for 2. It is odd to advertise a room with breakfast included when it only covers some of the occupants.

It's one of the only places to stay in Gearhart with on-site management. Excellent location in the heart of the town and close to the Ridge Path for walking. The beds were comfortable and the room was a decent size. Breakfast was continental-style and delivered to the door in a basket! There are some nice places to sit outside.

There was a lot of noisy maintenance activity: mowing of small lawn late in the afternoon, which chased us inside; leaf blower kicking up dust in the morning.

Peaceful,most comfortable bed, friendly helpful staff, ambiance ( good vibes),parked car right in front of my room. Nice neighborhood. My slow walk to the beach only 13 minutes. Candles & flash light in the drawer & puzzle, card games,books to read. Like staying at a friend's cabin😁 . Landscaping was awesome. Excellent watercolor in my room ( #7).

The Drifthaven is a hidden gem - each room is unique, decorated with a fun midcentury vibe, and very pet-friendly. You are greeted with a complimentary hot toddy in the evening, nice grounds and ideally located. Right across the street from a fabulous restaurant for dinner and a yummy coffee shop -bakery for breakfast. Also, if you want to just relax there is a nice little breakfast basket delivered right to your front door. Highly recommend.

Cute little breakfast and brought to door every morning was nice. Great coffee set up and kitchenette type counter. Had just what I needed. Clean room, but not pretentious because it’s dog friendly. Me and my puppy felt comfortable.

I liked everything really but the beds are low which I’m fine with but my dog seemed to think it was low on his account. So, you can guess what happened next. Re-training once we got home and he’s been listening to down-down much better now.

This was a perfect place for a quiet getaway! Two block walk to the beach and no one was there but us! The room was clean and had everything we needed. There is a garage with chairs, bikes, and beach equipment. There are plenty of drinks and snacks available to pay for. Very comfortable bed!
