We came for 2 nights for our 51st wedding anniversary. We spent our wedding night there 51 years ago. And we really enjoyed walking around the town this time. Very nice restaurants. the Moravian history, and the colleges and the Steel Mill. We also liked that the elevators were not slow. Our bedroom and the marble bathroom were beautiful. Our bed was comfy and the sheets so soft! And our window views were interesting and wonderful of the historical buildings, bridges and the mountains. And thanks for having a fridge and hot beverage choices in the room.

Everything was great. Oh, actually we thought your restaurant menu prices were pretty steep. So we ate some nice meals elsewhere. We did have a drink in the Tap Room.

Love the ambiance and the entire vibe of the city. Great food and shops. My wife and I had our engagement, bridal shower, and wedding all at the hotel 20 years ago. We keep coming back yearly and love it. The service is outstanding and the hotel is always kept pristine. I recommend the Hotel Sugar Cake with your coffee! Many options in town all walking distance for food shopping and entertainment. If you can get away for a visit during the Christmas Season there is nothing better! Ask about their haunted rooms!

There is a great ice cream shop owned by the Hotel that closes early so any thoughts of a late after dinner treat are a no go. I also always hate the fact that they charge parking for customers staying in the hotel. It should be complimentary imo for what the rate is per night; but you do get the perk of at least having a place to park in the heart of town where parking is limited so I see it both ways. Not much to hate here at the Hotel Bethlehem.

The ambiance goes without saying but our personal reasons for returning is the exceptional service. The entire staff is amazing. I attribute this to the Guest Services Director Kelly Ronald’s . Kelly was kind enough to extend a later check out request due to personal medical reasons making my mornings very difficult. Also, much to my surprise when we arrived we were upgraded to a Wonderful Suite. I truly believe Kelly is the reason for the amazing staff . I can’t thank her enough & the entire staff . We will be back .

This is a superior hotel with excellent staff. The view from Room 916 is astonishing. You will not be disappointed staying here.

The dinner was overpriced, with poorly cooked duck and a disappointing surf and turf—the beef was overly salty, and the lobster tail was the smallest we've ever seen. On the bright side, the service was excellent, and the drinks were fantastic.

The beautiful building which is well maintained. The classic vibe which you feel immediately upon entering the lobby. My one complaint would be the rooms need a little tlc, especially the bathrooms. Cracked porcelain, stained tiles very small. AC was temperamental.

this hotel was a hotspot back in the day, where who’s who would visit and lend more credibility to this historic site. pictures of previous presidents and notable guests are littered throughout the hotel giving it it’s historic charm! The experience of walking into my room was like a throwback to the yesteryears of my fathers era. everything from the sink fixtures, and to the wallpaper and vaulted ceiling was all well within their theme. it was cold that night, in the teens actually. The room was set to 85° a little too warm for my taste so I decided to drop the thermostat down to a comfortable 70°. unfortunately, air conditioning was not accessible so I had to open the window to equalize the temperature on my own but I love sleeping to cold fresh air again. Do I see this as an inconvenience or as part of its historic charm? I chose the latter. The bed was firm, but surprisingly comfortable. I slept like a baby the next morning I had an incredible shower. The trick to the shower knob is to continuously charted to the left until you get hot water and then adjust accordingly. The soaps and shampoos were a unique and great experience also. I enjoyed that. The only discomfort during mice day was standing catty corner to the sink in the bathroom while shaving and brushing my teeth as the wall in front of the sink is very close to it where one would have to squeeze through to be centered in front of the sink. again, do I take this as a discomfort, or the charm of the known architecture back in those days. Again, I chose the latter. Lol. made my way downstairs to have breakfast; complimentary breakfast, as the night auditor, Clara, noticed that I was a very weary traveler, coming in at 1 AM tired from a 65 hour duty. She had pity on me and granted me this wonderful complimentary breakfast certificate. I ordered a big breakfast, and it was incredibly delicious.

The property was in well, keeping of its historic charm as it is surrounded by the historic district. Every detail within the hotel expresses the theme.

The location of this hotel is stellar for exploring downtown Bethlehem, which is amazing! All of the spaces are gorgeous and the food at all the restaurants is top notch.

The beds are very firm and were pretty uncomfortable for us. On top of the mattress, the bed frames were extremely creaky so you couldn't even shift your weight without making a LOT of noise. The room was also very small, which is to be expected with historic hotels.

The hotel was beautiful and definitely historic. The staff was wonderful, 1741 Restaurant was outstanding. We went for our 39th wedding anniversary and they sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. They went above and beyond.

Loved everything.

The hotel Bethlehem is a staple of the community. So much beautiful history and quite the line up of notable people have stayed there. It feels like you’re taken back in time. The building is well maintained and the staff are super friendly.

Would’ve liked a bigger bed than full sized for my husband and I.
