Visually it was very clean, but the staff actually blew me away, I initially had a reservation at the courtyard Marriott in montage, but my booking was messed up and the staff there was horrible, I wouldn’t let my dog stay there, the front desk manager and staff were so condescending and arrogant and nasty and rude, they offered no assistance at all and basically ignored me and my wife, while refusing to even try to fix my booking issue, even after I explained that we drove over 3 hours and have no where to stay for the night and my wife was pregnant…. I’m still pissed 😡 but I found your hotel through my booking app and when I entered the doors , your staff made me feel so welcomed… It was very emotional for me and I’m 260 lbs Their kindness and warmth allowed me to relax knowing that my wife would have a clean place to stay, and the food was outstanding at the restaurant…. I am definitely a customer for life after this experience…. Thank you so much

location was great for area with plenty of shops and restaurants all within walking distance.

Only things I didn't like so much were the drive in area where you pull in when arriving to check in. And then having to use the garage next door that didn't have an area that was connected to the hotels interior. It's not a huge breaking point if I were to stay in Scranton again. I would very much choose the Hilton again.

A very nice hotel in the center of Scranton. The beds were comfy. There was a park a block away for the dogs to go potty. We are fans of "The Office", so we had fun walking around town to see a few film locations and tributes to the show.

We weren't allowed to bring the dogs into the breakfast room, but there were a lot of breakfast food options. The guy making omelets was a bit temperamental and outspoken, but all the staff members were very friendly and helpful.

The location is perfect, right in the center of town. We were there for the St. Patrick’s Day parade, which was right down the street from the hotel.

I really liked pretty much everything about the hotel, except the coffee makers in the room. It would be nice to have complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, rather than paying for Starbucks coffee.

The only criticism I have is I stayed on Saturday the 11th the room on the third floor was a lot nicer than when I came back on Wednesday the 15th and stayed two nights on the seventh floor. It just seems like that room is ready to be redone or spruced up a bit - room 726. The sink faucet kept leaking and there was a stain on one of the headboards. also, there wasn’t an extra roll of toilet paper, and I ran out of toilet paper during my stay, and had to use the tissues. I know I could have asked but usually there’s an extra roll of toilet paper so when I ran out it was my last day there, and I only had a few hours left but I think they might’ve forgot to leave an extra roll of toilet paper. That’s my only complaint.

I like that the facilities are nice and clean and the staff was very helpful and had great customer service skills. I also like the free breakfast and it was delicious.

The only issue I had is when I called the hotel for shuttle service from the airport. The lady that answered, took my information very slowly to verify my identity. She verified my name, phone number, email address. It just seemed-to take a long time and then she wasn’t even the person to get me the shuttle so that was very frustrating that she did all that and then had to transfer me anyway when, if you’re not the person I need to speak to just transfer the call, because I was irritated, I was cold. I had to verify my identity again with the front desk that I was transferred to. Other than that it was excellent customer service from then on out the shuttle driver was amazing. Facilities were amazing and the front desk was awesome.

The front desk employees are just as efficient and welcoming as the last time I stayed there four years ago. I can not say enough good things about the breakfast buffet. Carl's omelets are delicious and there are plenty of other choices. The location of the Hilton Scranton is ideal for exploring the city, shopping and dining. I'll be back!

The carpet in the rooms needs cleaning and the paper products in the bathroom need upgrading.

Location and price were good for accommodation provided.

Furniture was more worn than last time we stayed. Suggest some updates. Breakfast buffet was a bit greasier (omelets) and salty (sausage gravy) than we expected though appreciated the wide variety of foods offered.

The room is very clean comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Starbucks in hotel. Restaurant in hotel. Nice pool. Don't need a car to walk around in town.

Really have no complaints

Everything. The pool, the room service, the staff, the accessibility, how easy it was to have food delivered to the property. It was beautiful inside the hotel itself and my room. The room was spacious. I loved it all.

The parking situation would have to be my only complaint but I understand it comes with the territory of it being in a busy section of the city.
