Clean, comfortable and easy interstate access

Breakfast is too expensive I had got breakfast vouchers in the past but this time when I checked in there was a lot going on and receptionist didn’t ask me and I forgot to mention it and so the next day i asked if I could buy them and I was told no it has to be done upon check in so I was not happy about that at all I feel like that is a nice option for your customers and I feel like we should be able to buy it afterwards at least one day ..I was there three nights . Also no ice bucket in room and when I asked for one she said they didn’t have any they are on back order that I could use a bag .. well I didn’t do that I just got a cup of ice but other than that stay was good

The hostess, Christine, was amazing. We arrived on a cold and rainy day and the room was cold, with air blowing out of the heater system. No Heat! I repeated this experience to Christine. Rather than call an engineer, she promptly went with me to the room to see if she could get the system to work. Alas, we all agreed it was broken. She then opened up an adjoining room and tested that heater. It Worked! She suggested that we move to that room. We chose to leave the joining door open. She was so kind and helpful to make our stay a rewarding experience. We are grateful that she was on duty that day. Helpful and kind hostesses are a remarkable addition to any organization. Holiday Inn is lucky to have folks like her as their representatives.

The heater was broken

Excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Excellent 4 hour happy hour on the Friday night. The room was a good size and very clean and spacious.

Our room didn't have an outside window, just a big window into the corridor, with some natural light. The corridor is open-plan and is above the reception area. Hence the reception telephone was noisy and intrusive, which awakened me in the middle of the night.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable. The room was good, and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. The breakfast was good, many choices. We enjoyed our stay.

The room had a musty smell upon our arrival. It was humid and hot outside, and I think it was weather related. Once we had the AC on for a while, the musty smell vanished. I'm really not complaining, just an observation.

Great hotel. For the price I am really happy about the experience. The place is easy to get to and close to Scranton downtown. Parking lot is spacious. Check-in and bar staffs are really helpful and friendly. Huge property with lots of amenities. The bar is not crowded and has very good vibes. Room is clean and cozy.

The bed feels damp. I had to leave the air conditioner on dry for a long time. Otherwise all good.

It was a great value, the room was nice. The beds were very comfy as well as the pillows. Would definitely stay again. The people were friendly and the lot was clean, as well.

The shower was wild. Not bad, just short curtain and sorta cramped. But not a deal breaker by any means

Breakfast was good. Location of hotel was perfect. Staff was accommodating and kind. Pool area was well kept and spacious. Main lobby and secondary lobby were huge and usable.

Coffee was meh. Couldn't drink it. Lights outside our "interior" room were SO bright, if you toss/turn at night you think it's 9AM. The door right by our room was an exterior door, so it would slam shut throughout the night.

Friendly and very helpful desk staff. The place was welcoming generally. I would stay again.

The room did not have a window to the outside. That was a first and kinda strange. The light fixtures were not easy to figure out. As far as I could tell you had to turn on/off the bedside lamps from a wall switch by the door.

room size was okay and I like that the bathroom is equipped with nice smelling toiletries

the bed height was too high. its difficult to get in and out of the bed. Also, there are no individual switches for the night lamps. we had to get up and turn on:off the main light switch. very inconvenient.

The staff is amazing here! Kurt at the bar Krystal at the front desk and all other staff were very accommodating! The hotel was spotless the indoor pool was great for my 3 year old grand daughter and the chicken tenders were awesome! It’s our new go to when visiting family in PA!
