I stayed here on my wedding weekend at Lakeview Farms & Events. The wedding party and I had a great stay. The staff members were very helfpful. There was a slight issue at check in which they resolved right away. The cleaning crew was very nice as well. Everytime I ran into them they asked how my day was, how my stay was going, etc.

This is not the property's fault, but directly outside of their parking lot was a massive pot hole. It was about 3 feet wide, 2 feet deep. I had to drive around it everytime I came and went from the hotel.

The location was pretty handy for a local bar and diner, as well as several other amenities within walking distance 

There was one particular member of staff, who was particularly rude, I believe she was a cleaner with blonde hair and a slight limp limp.. she can often be found, sat outside smoking…. I don’t expect anything other than politeness,  she would stare and also ignore general pleasant, strange like good morning for example. She just needs to find another job. In my opinion, she’s clearly not happy with working with members of the public/customers. 

Loved that the staff was friendly and approachable! The room was clean and had all the right amenities! My husband loved that lemonade was offered at the breakfast! Bed and pillows very comfy!

The only issue we had was we were woken up by hearing the housekeepers visiting near our door in the early mornings. We were near their supply closet and I’m sure it wasn’t purposeful but it was irritating.

Very clean property and comfortable for price. Not to far from shopping and college we went to visit. Staff was very friendly. Nice smell to be a pet friendly hotel which I was concerned about but not bad. The parking was convenient. The free breakfast was very suitable and nice.

The women's bathroom on main level was not in order. The pool and spa area was not ready. The ice machine was broken on main level.

I always enjoy my stay here everything and everyone is usually wonderful. One little hiccup this time.

Breakfast there was only sau to choose for meat and it wasnt very good. I think if you are going to allow animals in the hotel you draw the line at the eating areas there was the largest dog in the area where we were fixing our plates and i was so scared i left before finishing fixing my plate and i didnt bother about going the next day plus how sanitary is that

Choices at breakfast were good. Usual fare for "free" breakfast at hotel. Eggs probably from a carton looked fine but the first thing tasted was "salt". Only one elevator means sometimes there's a bit of a wait. Of course, being only 3-floors, as Zig Zigler said, there's no waiting for those willing to take the stairs, and it's good exercise.

The breakfast is one of the best. The friendly and helpful hotel staff made our stay very pleasant. Check-in/Check-out is a breeze. The hotel is very clean.

1. The drive into the hotel area was marred by 2 massive potholes. That road is probably not part of the hotel complex, but it is not very inviting as it is the first thing you see as you approach the hotel entrance. 2. There were no doggy bags in the area for dogs to do their business, thus there was a lot of dog poop on that part of the lawn (we always bring our own scoop bags). 3. It is disappointing that $50 was charged for our little dog for a two day stay. That is a lot of money and I ask La Quinta to rethink this amount. If you must charge, $10-$15/day would be more reasonable. The Red Roof Inn does not charge a pet fee. We chose not to stay there in York, because that hotel was right downtown and let's face it, your hotel is superior.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean and the beds were Very comfortable.

The rooms could be more soundproof - I’m 80 and had a long day so I went to sleep before 10pm - very loud talking in the room next door so I put in earplugs which helped but they put on the TV at 1:00 am for several hours and woke me - it must have been right up against my bed. That was the only problem.

Bathroom had mold in shower corners, room smelled like it had been smoked in previously, mini fridge never got items cold, air conditioner did not cool room had to be reset and still did not reach selected temp during stay.

The location was perfectly situated for ease access to multiple entertainment and food options, the room was very big and extremely comfortable, the staff were very friendly and professional, and the atmosphere was a really overall warm and welcoming one at that! Perfect for long stays even short ones too. If I'm ever in the York area again I will be staying here for sure! Plus price was very reasonable given everything and its location!

The only real complaint would be housekeeping could of been a bit more on top of things, and the pool was closed but I already knew that prior to booking due to renovations. So really? Nothing to complain about other than a bit of an improvement needed with housekeeping.
