This hotel is perfect for visiting RISD and Brown University. As someone who came to visit my daughter attending college here, it was truly an excellent choice. The staff were all cheerful and friendly, and even on non-cleaning days, the housekeeping staff greeted me with a bright smile and kindly asked if I needed anything. The room size is spacious enough for two people to stay comfortably, and the hotel is exceptionally clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again whenever I visit Providence.

The room was very spacious and well furnished. The bed was large, and we liked the fact that the sink and mirror were separate from the bathroom with toilet and shower. The hotel is a 5-minute walk to the station and is walking distance to Brown and RISD.

The staff was uninterested and not very friendly. The breakfast was mediocre. A card in the room said that our room would be cleaned every other day, but we stayed for 5 nights and it was only cleaned once.

I recently booked this hotel for my parents who were visiting, and they had a wonderful stay. They stayed in the corner suite and loved the downtown views! The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities. The full kitchen and the complimentary shuttle service that operates within a 1-mile radius of the hotel were incredibly convenient. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. I highly recommend Homewood Suites by Hilton in Providence.

I had a large room, big enough for me to do my morning exercises--important for me. Having a kitchenette to store food and eat, was a great feature. There was plenty of room to lay out and put away my things, the bathroom was well laid out and large. The staff was lovely. The location was perfect. I will stay here again for my regular family visits.

Very good breakfast buffet. We walked to several restaurants for dinners. We also attended the Waterfire event across the street, which happened to be going on while we were there vacationing. We spent a day walking around the historic areas and thoroughly enjoyed it! We rented a car and drove to Newport several times.

We walked through the park across the street at dusk and felt mildly uncomfortable about our safety. There were a several people begging money on the streets down from the hotel as we walked to different restaurants for dinners. Also some passed out on the sidewalk and another one arguing with security on the street by the mall.

The location was great. The view of the river from our room was very enjoyable every morning. We were able to walk to the university we were visiting. Also most of the restaurants were within walking distance.

The staff in charge of the breakfast were nice and friendly, but they spent a lot of time with one of the residents a little too much. This resulted in the coffee not getting refilled and certain foods not being replenished in a timely manner.

The breakfast was nice and the room was very spacious. Was very surprised how big the bathroom was but the beds and pull out couch was comfortable.

The price I paid for the kitchen could of been a little lower as I thought I had an oven and a bigger stove top when I was booking the room, but it only had a two burner stovetop that was smaller and no oven so it wasn’t what I thought I was getting when I booked the room in the first place.

The room was very confortable and large.

The breakfast was messy. They were not filling up the food, the plates, the cutlery , everything was dirty. Only one lady was appearing from time to time to help . They have a lot to improve on this aspect.

I love the staff being so helpful during the check in and also how the hotel is centered and made easy for me and my mom during the stay. valet parking is also very convenient and helpful.

Location, location, location

I will never valet park my car. I valet parked the first car that I owned, less then 500 miles on it and they valet parked another car into the side of my car. We ended up parking the car at the train station garage for this trip.
