The staff was very helpful and friendly and gave great recommendations for dinner. The room was a good size (two queens) and the beds were comfy, especially after a long drive. Everything seemed clean, and the fixtures were in good shape that I saw. Hot breakfast was good. The location was great as it's right off of I-85 and there are many places to eat there (I'd recommend Copper River Grill, for the record).

Very slight issues. One elevator was broken, and we heard from another guest that the other was getting stuck sometimes (we did not experience this ourselves). I had some trouble with the waffle iron, but that was most likely user error as i haven't used one before. The breakfast potatoes were a little heavy on salt but still tasty. All the lightbulbs are cold in temperature, which isn't to my taste necessarily, but something I could live with.

The team at the front desk was awesome, even volunteered to get my suitcase from my car under the portico so I wouldn't have to wheel it from a parking space in torrential rain.

The bare floors in my room were sticky and the bed side table had not been cleaned. Someone's greasy meal had stuck to it. I scrubbed it with soap and hot before putting my phone, etc, there. Also, the lighting was rather harsh. All that said, liked the bed and pillows and the desk was useful!

The Best Western Plus Spartanburg was chosen primarily for its ease of location to the various Interstate roads running north, south, east and west from the city - it was easy to find after turning of at Junction 75 on Interstate 85 - and, of course, its price (being good value for the money). Being a Best Western Plus property we knew that it would be to a high standard, and we were not disappointed. As we were touring the area with a hire car, having good parking was an essential item for our stay and that was what was provided. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and was to the usual American standard. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. A real bonus was the availability of laundry facilities - after a week of travelling we were able to get a suitcase of clean clothes shortly after we arrived. We can recommend the Best Western Spartanburg for a pleasant stay

One observation - there was no safety deposit box in the room - having a safety deposit box would usually be seen as the 'norm' in any 3* hotel these days!!!

The breakfast was exceptional. The hotel manager and I believe another staff member by the name of Vivien were absolutely GREAT . . very warm and accommodating. The manager went out of his way to make us feel very welcomed! Recommended hotel to my family who lives in Spartanburg for their guests in the future.

Updated rooms from my last stay about a decade ago: lots of tv channels, not overly crowded or loud, *no pet policy, though I love & have pets I don’t trust hotels that allow animals inside to accurately check or even detect remnants of pestilence: (fleas/ticks, etc.)* so: thank you fgreatly. ❤️🙏or this rule, I appreciate it greatly.

The showers were the only consistently bad spot where I had to go out & get cleaning supplies; protective gloves, masks, eyewear, as well as shower sandals (dollar general) they were a bit too dark “grimey” to feel comfortable or clean. Staff was amazing & kind, I understand it’s a heck of a job I couldn’t get mine near perfect: perhaps next reno. Should include shower pans & waterwalls, etc. I appreciated all else however.

Super Kind & supportive staff. The property has been structurally renovated (seemingly) since about my last stay around a decade ago: nice, spacious, super comfortable bed and excellent tv channels: everything, all the sports’ channels, movies, all I could think of, even HBO 1 & 2! Blackout shades, bathroom sink/desperate from shower area: really nice updated granite countertops (on end tables & sink!) love the new calming blue & darker wood aesthetic. Very relaxing & updated.

The showers were & are my only complaint: The doors were excellent/ but I do believe the shower pans/lining walls would’ve been better served to clients that prioritize cleanliness. Now; I’m not above getting some gloves & hardcore cleaners, masks, and some shower sandals: all of which I did, because the limescale/caked on grime/mold spots were just a bit too much for my comfort.

I like that hotel was clean, staff very pleasant and nice. Rooms are very good, honestly the best, most comfortable bed from all the beds that I have slept on. Thank you

I didn't like that they didn't have AC in the lobby and elevators. Elevators started to smell from heat and people body odor .

It’s a nice place but just slacking on house keeping

The first room they put me in was dirty look like the bed was dirty it had dirt all over it! And it was made up it just had dirt on the bed! It was trash from Mc Donald’s in trash can! The bathroom still had dirty towels on the floor and the shower and the shower had open soap bars in it!

I like the location, I like how clean and up to date the hotel was. Beds were very comfy, which is really rare for me to say that about hotel beds 🛌 also I came 3hrs before check in time and staff were really kind about it and found a room for me to check in early. That was helpful

I wish there was more then one uv charge for electric cars.

Excellent quality to price ratio. The room was clean and attractive, with nice shampoo/soap. I slept very well. Even though the hotel is near the highway, the soundproofing works well. I also appreciated the free breakfast.

You really need a car in order to stay here. I would have stayed for more nights but I had to rely on a friend who lived nearby to give me a ride.
