The location was great with plenty of restaurants nearby. Decent price for what you get. Staff was very friendly and helpful, gave lots of suggestions on where to get the best foods around there. They gave us the room right next to the pool since they saw I had children with me. Lobby was cute and clean, pool was outside and really nice. Breakfast wasn't much but they had a waffle maker which my kids enjoyed. Room was perfect size and decently clean. Was nice to be able to park directly outside the room without having to walk down hallways. Bathroom was small but had amazing water pressure.

Housekeeping did not seem to notice the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door and continued to enter the room while we were gone and clean it up. I found it uncomfortable since I had left my purse there and they folded our pajamas. The room and the beds seemed to always be damp, but I think that could also be due to the hot humid Houston weather.

Newly renovated, looks very nice although it looks like their last step is the floors and shower. Very friendly staff, very clean and great breakfast. Accommodating to my pup!

Floors, Tub (was okay but could tell it was very old) but I know they are renovating! Also the humidity was pretty bad. When we woke up, almost everything clothing wise left out was damp.

I have returned to this same hotel over the years many times. The staff is always friendly and make it a great stay. Management takes great care of the rooms, and upgraded the furniture, including larger refrigerator and a kitchenette. I love it!

The renovations

My friend accidentally bagged up 2 hand towels with our clothes and I received a call from this establishment. I was told if I didn't return the 2 hand towels I would be charged $30 and he will be as patient as 8:00pm that day to charge me. Just thought that was rude as hell since I had to meet this woman(who I don't always get to see and is terrible at answering) in Santa Fe.

The staff was great. I went to see my niece who lives there and when she came to the hotel the clerk was very nice and offered that she could go swimming in the pool even though she wasn't a guest.

the front desk person (Jerry) made several inappropriate comments to me. asked why I was staying and told him my husband has been down here for a month and my daughter and I came to see him and then he proceeded to comment on saying something about us “getting it on like honeymoon night” the beds were damp and the floors were sticky.

Room was clean and quiet. Very nice lobby.

A little bit small.. sq ft. Hard to walk around the end of the bed. parking was not Ideal. Decorative fence prevented parking by room.

The breakfast was basic, it was really nothing fancy about it coffee package, cinnamon rolls, and waffles. We went down the street to the restaurant for breakfast, but breakfast was not the major, deciding factor of our staying or visit.

Can’t really say there was anything else we needed that wasn’t there very well appointed.

I stay here once a month. Very clean, staff nice and helpful. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. And I always get extra coffee, which I love!

My only negative was the bathtub was crap. Soft and slick. Could fall in easy. Everything else was wonderful.
