I really liked the quietness at this hotel. I appreciated the clean room, comfortable bed, and the helpful staff. I liked the layout of the room, the nice bathroom and full size kitchen. I also liked the area it is located, safe and secure, not noisy, unattractive or unsafe. I would have used the pool and exercise room but did not have time.

I did not like being charged for parking, did not see the purpose for that.

If you're traveling to Austin and want a clean, affordable stay, look no further. TownPlace Suites is conveniently located off I-35 by several restaurants, businesses, and a movie theater, but without the noise of a bustling city. Upon entering my room, I found a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, DISHWASHER, microwave, range, coffee maker, and toaster oven. In the drawers were utensils and cooking utensils, cooking pans, a bowl, and other necessities. The closet had an iron, ironing board, and plenty of room for clothing (plus drawers). There was a sofa as well. The restroom had full-size body wash, shampoo, and conditioner along with travel size soap and moisturizer. They also provided a hairdryer. There were USB charger ports (no c) on each side of the bed and plenty of outlets. We had a semi view. There is a gym, free parking, and continental breakfast was provided, all for a very affordable price. The staff is very friendly. They sell snacks and convenience food in the lobby. It was a hair pricey, but when you're in a pinch, what do you do. Check-in and check out times are those of olden days. You cannot find check-in and checkout times like theirs anywhere anymore. I don't know what else you could ask for. I have no complaints at all. I would highly recommend this place and our stay was great! 10/10!

I have nothing to complain about.

It was super clean, fresh and pretty stylish, furniture was very comfortable. You can move the table wherever you need. It is a modern hotel, the furniture is in excellent condition, the beds and pillows are comfy, the bathroom is beautiful.

The only thing we were kind of disappointed about was that we were staying for New Years Eve, and when we came downstairs to have breakfast we found out that the kitchen was closed and there was no breakfast that morning! I guess someone responsible for breakfasts there was enjoying the NY party too much and couldn't make it in the morning LOL. Though there was hot coffee and tea, we were left without breakfast that morning. The next day everything was fine.

Clean and comfortable

WTF, $7 for parking in a lot shared with a movie theater and restaurants???

I did not eat breakfast due to an early flight, however, the location was near an AMC movie theater, close enough to the interstate to gain access quickly, but not hear interstate noise. The staff was exceptional and there were many food varieties nearby. It was minutes from a grocery store and fuel.

There were no issues with this location. I like peace and quiet, clean rooms, and a location near the airport. This location met all those needs.

The breakfast was great, with a nice variety of options. Parking was easy and convenient, and the hotel was quiet and peaceful throughout our stay. It's also in a great location, just a short walk to several restaurants.

My only complaint was that the pillows were too soft, and unfortunately there were no extras available when I asked the front desk.

The staff service was excellent, and the rooms were large, well-equipped, and comfortable. There was plenty of room for storage, and the kitchen area was ideal for our needs. We've stayed at three different hotels for one week in this area for the same activity over the past three years, and this hotel was BY FAR the best of the ones we stayed at. We've finally found the hotel where we can stay for future trips.

The breakfast was okay, but it was the weakest of the offerings. The waffles were good, but they were out of things several times, including cereal, milk, and orange juice. They could also have a bit more variety, but the value was decent.

Overall had a great stay and would stay again! The lobby is very nice, staff were accommodating and helpful for ideas of what to do in Austin. We had our 2 year old daughter w us and used their pack and play which was nice and the room was spacious w a pretty full kitchen.

There are a few small tweaks that could be made to make this a 10. First, the pool area is super lacking.. the pool is tiny, which is fine w me really, but there were NO shade options and only 2 towels put out. My daughter and I splashed around a bit but with no umbrellas for shade options in the 106 degrees.. we had to get out of there before we burned! Also, the black out curtains need to be about 6 inches longer all around. The outside light at night made it where we could not get the room totally dark, and as soon as the sun came up sun was coming under the shades.. just very poor design. This is critical with a baby!! The second night we had to move her pack n play to the bathroom (good thing it was big enough)

The woman at the concierge desk (during the day shift) was amazing; super friendly, positive and effective. The breakfast was great; most hotels offer day old muffins and yogurt. This was a full, hot meal each day with lots of choices and a waffle bar with Texas shaped waffles. The room was spacious, well furnished and modern. The bed was comfortable and the bedding seemed fresh and clean. Kitchenette came stocked with a few pans, silverware and dishes. We didn't use the kitchen, but we were impressed with how well set up it was. If someone has a long stay, this place would be perfect.

It was nice to have a full kitchen (except for an oven, which no one wants in a Texas summer). The room was well laid out, clean, and the staff were helpful and friendly.

The only downside: the place can be tough to find. Several businesses, including another hotel and a huge movie theater, are in a large commercial area, and share the same address, all connected by windy, twisty access roads, and the Towne Suites are sort of tucked away in a corner. We had trouble finding it, and so did a friend, and a pizza delivery driver. Some better signposting would be an improvement.
