The convenience of the location based on wanting to see Palo Duro Canyon. I asked for a 'quiet' room as much as was possible and it was. The breakfast was very nice with a little bit of everything. (when we arrived there were no big towels and no pillow cases on the eight pillows!! I called the front desk and Jamanda was willing to move us. We told her no since we had already settled in so she immediately brought the towels and pillow cases. She was apologetic about it and made sure we were okay with how she took care of us.) We stayed in for the evening and left after breakfast.

We usually avoid the ‘brand motels’ and try to find funky hotels in the thick of the action in the centre of town. We chose Best Western in Canyon because we had a big day of driving and wanted to be close enough to the Palo Duro Canyon to give ourselves the option of seeing it before sunset if we arrived in time (we did). On arrival we were met by a trainee staff member who was being wonderfully assisted by her manager which made everyone comfortable from the start. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean and the services (gym, pool and breakfast) were all above standard. We may not get back to Palo Duro again - but if all their hotels have this standard we will definitely use Best Western in again.

The hotel met our expectations on every level, the only thing extra I would have liked would have been a safe/valuables box in the room.

Breakfast itself was outstanding, however more tables/chairs are needed and the room needs to be larger. The hotel was nearly full and we had to wait 20 minutes for a table to clear before we could eat. Breakfast foods were just great - eggs, a meat, potatoes, and hot biscuits plus an assortment of fruit, cereals, breads, etc. Excellent presentation and the staff was very helpful. Probably one of the best breakfast's we've had while traveling in a long time.

Size of breakfast area - need more room and more tables/chairs. Having to wait on a table is the pits! And 20 minutes was almost too long. Either enlarge or extend breakfast time for another hour or so.

The young lady who checked us in was friendly and courteous. She made sure we had no questions and even gave us a "Welcome Bag" with peanuts and bottles of water. The breakfast was exceptional! The gentleman who was preparing and keeping everything fully stocked seemed to never stop moving. There were cheese omelets, sausage links, biscuits, waffles, boiled eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereal, oatmeal, bagels, fruit juice and coffee... and more! And the items we chose were fresh and delicious! I swear I think we would choose this location for the breakfast alone!

The coffee maker in our room made one cup of coffee and then refused to work again. However, there was plenty of coffee available in the lobby and at breakfast. Minor irritation.

The room was huge and had everything we needed. The hotel staff were different. When we checked in, the lady was extremely active and helpful and solve some of the initial problems we had with the room, while helping all the other guests checking in at the same time! In comparison, the lady on the morning shift the following days and at check out was not as helpful or polite. The fitness room and indoor pool were very nice. The breakfast was adequate, and it was best to come early to avoid the time when the room gets full and loud. The location is great for visiting the Palo Duro Canyon.

No place to hang the hand towel for drying hands in the bathroom.

Room was great. Clean . Front desk even called once we got in our room to see how we liked it or needed anything. That is rare! Price was reasonable. And the restaurant right beside it within walking distance was wonderful. Good food, good prices, friendly service, unlimited rolls, and free cinnamon roll at the end. Both places, would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Cheryl, the very nice lady at the desk, helped us all the way. We were also given a room they call "the garage" which is a small detached room but larger and more private. Also right next to parking.

With our location maid exchanged towels and emptied trash but did not make up the bed. Minor for us since we really enjoyed our privacy.

This hotel was very clean and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet, and the shower worked well. We had a great evening meal at the steak house next door. We were well rested and ready to visit Palo Duro Canyon State Park the next day.

We requested extra pillows when booking the room online, but I don't think we got them. No problem, though, as we brought some with us.

Loved the staff. Everyone was very friendly. Breakfast was good. The facilities were extremely clean. The location was great, very easy to get to the canyon and downtown has the most lovely ice cream shop/hair salon -yes you read that right!

The breakfast was delicious for all except for our child with allergies. Here are some ideas for the future: Gluten free bread for toast Gluten free frozen waffles on request Gluten free waffle mix (I've seen the waffle company does have a gluten free mix) Bacon for meat instead of just sausage (which often has Gluten) Hashbrowns that are Gluten free or potatoes made with oil instead of butter Gluten free cereal options Soymilk/Rice Milk Applesauce Again, the breakfast was great for our family... except for our child with lots of allergies....sometimes just the suggestions can be helpful for the future. You all probably did not realize how limiting foods can be for some guests. Thanks for reading!

The room was pretty and view was nice The coffee maker in room was great plus coffee in the lobby was convenient. The bed was comfortable, loved having extra pillows

The room was not what I expected: I reserved handicapped room. The door keys from previous person were left on tv cabinet It didn't appear to have been cleaned. A pair of shoes were left on the floor, seemed not to have been cleaned well. It had an ugly patch job in the bathtub.
