Candlewood Suites was a great stay overall. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and professional, and the rooms were spacious with a variety of seating options. I appreciated the well-equipped gym and the convenient office center for getting work done. The on-site pantry was also a great touch—well-stocked and easy to access. Overall, the property felt comfortable, modern, and thoughtfully maintained.

The layout of the parking lot was a bit concerning. One entrance is located directly off the highway exit, which can feel abrupt and potentially unsafe. The other option requires navigating a blind exit near a busy Chick-fil-A drive-thru. Additionally, one night there was an incident involving an intoxicated woman who was banging on doors and windows. While this was unsettling, I commend the hotel staff and local authorities for handling it swiftly and professionally. It wasn’t the hotel's fault, but it did affect the overall experience.

Candlewood Suites was a delightful stay! I like that they provide you with so much with their great, low prices. We stayed in the Queen studio which was clean and comfortable and the kitchenette was loaded with ample utensils, coffee, etc. They also offered a lot of bathroom supplies and provided the basics so you wouldn’t even need to bring your toiletries (except for some toothpaste haha). Their staff was nice and very accommodating with our late arrival and check-out. And the property has a unique wall of shelves you can borrow supplies, from jumper cables to games! Not only that, but the property is conveniently located near gas stations, food (Chik-Fil-A is right next door are you kidding!!), and even a Walmart Supercenter (~15 min walk). I definitely see us staying here again if we are in the area.

I have no complaints.

My room was large and clean and comfy. I liked the full kitchen, work area and seating area. The bathroom was clean enough for me to feel comfortable taking a bath in it. They had a really nice sundry supply and the lending library was full of every kind of kitchen item you could think of from juicers to panini presses. There was plenty of room to walk my dog and the pet fee was really reasonable. A few restaurants in walking distance.

The only thing that bothered me was the gentlemen who worked in the evenings seemed to not be able to help with anything and always told me to call in the morning. I asked for a noon check out and he said call in the morning. I asked for a wake up call and he never put it in so I missed calling for my late check out. I wanted to get fresh sheets and he said call in the morning but that's when I said no, the sign in the room says to bring down your bedding and you'll get fresh bedding so he gave me 3 fitted sheets and no blanket. I would have given 5 stars and 10/10 if I was ever able to get assistance in the evenings.

It was close enough to the place we were going to be at all weekend, the ease of getting to and from the hotel was very manageable (15 minutes). It was very clean, maybe a remodel since our last stay 2 years ago. Each room has a great little kitchen and it was ideal for our trip. Staff were helpful and friendly.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. There are always things that need to be fixed or done in a hotel, like lights need to be replaced or something, but the only thing I’d say was remotely needed, was the elevator was loud/shaky. It was like it groaned, but didn’t feel unsafe.

Convenient, nice and quiet. Clean, comfortable. Liked having the fridge and microwave and little coffee maker.

The only thing that I saw wasn’t functioning properly was the ceiling light as you come into the hotel room. It kept flickering and then would go off and then come on before it would stay on for good. But I told the receptionist when we left and she wrote it down and said she would contact maintenance.

The location was ideal for our purposes. It was directly on I-820 North, with easy on/off access. The property was fairly well-maintained and there were dining choices nearby. The bed was very comfortable. A room change was necessary, when we first arrived, and the desk staff took care of it very quickly and pleasantly.

Apparently renovations are on-going, but that mostly consists of painting. Lighting and outlets needed updating, to include USB ports. There wasn’t one USB port in the entire room. The sofa, in the living room, was unbelievably uncomfortable-hard as a rock. When we arrived, the desk clerk had to go upstairs with us to remove an air purifier, which we were told was routine, but there was also a plug-in air freshener! As soon as the purifier was gone, we smelled the cigarette smoke. We called the desk and asked to be moved.

Great room, lots of space. This kitchen was perfectly amd come with many kitchen essentials to cook. The bathroom is nice size and loved being able to take a bath and relax

Towels and tissues were very thin. Not much pressure in shower or filling tub. Would be great to have coffee available early in day and possibly late. Didn’t want to make a pot of coffee for one cup.

Overall it was fine. The shower rod was messed up. I reported it to the front desk. The light on the smoke detector was bright and flashing. This made it hard to sleep

The hotel placed a 25 dollar hold on my credit card that took way to long to drop off. I don't like this type of treatment.

The rooms and common areas were clean. The first room had a mattress with a horrible smell, so I moved at midnight, which was a bummer. The second room was good. The staff were friendly. The location was convenient.
