The location was good, just .10 of a mile walk to the beach. Walmart right across the road, and quick access to local restraunts. The breakfast was nice as well.

The bed was very uncomfortable for me and my husband. The mattress was super hard which some people may like but I couldn't sleep well because of it. Also, the mattress had a lean to it on my husband's side so he felt like he was going to fall out of the bed in his sleep. Thankfully that didn't happen!

We had such a great stay. I’ve stayed in many hotels in Galveston and this one has been by far the best. Very clean, safe, PERFECT location. It’s a very easy, safe and fast walk to the beach. Across the street from Walmart (busy street but not a highway. Can easily walk there for last minute items or snacks and groceries for the stay.) Everything is card-entry which I love. Makes me feel safe taking my kids. It’s a good part of town. Breakfast was great, always stocked and clean.

Dog treats. Clean. Lots of options for breakfast. Front desk extended our checkout by an hour and were helpful in suggesting car mechanics available on Labor Day.

Patio doors do not lock and swung open during the night during a rainstorm. Business office computers did not have Internet. Not usable. Parking is not complimentary ($15). And the parking garage and lot both flooded during heavy morning rainstorm. Parking SHOULD BE COMPLIMENTARY. This is not a luxury hotel like the San Luis Hotel down the street. that also charges for parking ($36 per nite). Or increase a small rate for parking lot maintenance onto the hotel rate. I don't like to be "nickel and dimed."

The hotel is in excellent condition. It offers parking for $15 per night. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are spacious and have a contemporary style. Rooms with a balcony have a partial view of the sea. Breakfast is served from 6 to 10 am and, while simple, is quite complete and of good quality. Pets are allowed for an additional fee. We were assigned a room on the 5th floor with a balcony. The view is quite good. It is not directly in front of the beach, but it is less than a block away.

Everything was great, except the gym was out of service, and the shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom were empty. Since we were only staying one night and had our own, we didn't report it.

Property was amazing friendly staff but

when I arrived the property was locked waited for about 10 minutes and had to call the front desk to open the doors and the night clerk tried to double charge me for a room and when I showed her that the money was taken out she didn’t believe me even when I showed her the transaction went through it took about 20 minutes for her to find it

The covered parking was very nice.

There is a no choice extra fee for parking. No choice to park free.

Convince, parking is easy, staff was friendly

The add describes a pond with a nice setting. The pond is across the street and not accessible to the public very disappointing. You should take that down it’s deceiving. I told my family about it and they took their fishing pole and were disappointed

The room was great, I enjoyed the stay, the room was clean, and it was my first time here. I would like to start staying here instead of where I normally stay (Galveston Beach Hotel). I think I overlook this one because its pricier.

I don't have any complaints. We enjoyed our stay. Maybe next time we will stay longer and have a better review to give. For the 1 night stay we have ZERO complaints. Thank you.

We always enjoy the breakfast and having coffee & tea available to us anytime we like. The friendly staff are always helpful and had excellent suggestions of nearby restaurants.

The toilet in our bathroom was loose and needed attention. Also toilet seat needed to be changed. It was a bit worn.

I loved my balcony. The shower was wonderful and spacious, even though it takes a little for hot water to come, but once it does, it is very nice. The bed was very comfortable for me.

The ac lagged a little. It never got to the requested temp, but it wasn't hot either. I'm not sure what that was about. Breakfast was a little letdown.
