The staff and property overall were excellent. Room was clean upon check in. The bathtub in the room I stayed in could use some attention. There are stains, water seemed dirty even though tub itself had been cleaned by staff. Lively courtyard, bar and pool area. If you are going to pout about noise, stay elsewhere.

Staff is very helpful, a plus. (See summary.) Good complimentary breakfast. Didn’t use the restaurant/bar at night, but others seemed to like it. They arranged a shuttle to the CFB title game. Location is another bonus. Right by I-45, just north of Houston’s museum district and with good access the the myriad of other freeways to get around Houston.

The immediate area is a bit run-down, and with very few restaurants. But had no security incident with my rental car. The hotel and rooms seem older, but were clean. My main concern was the narrow passage from the door then between the first of two queen beds and a small desk area. This was a combo pleasure-work trip, and I worked on my Pad. Had to move the desk chair out of the way to pass through, then back to the desk to work. Minor inconvenience, in the overall picture.

It was wonderful to have breakfast with dairy-free and gluten-free options, and to have protein and fruit was great! I love the theme, decor and vibes of the whole place. I really like the soundproofing that is part of the decor. We had people in rooms on both sides of us, but the sound proofing made it super quiet. I've told friends and family that we will go back to this hotel if we ever have the opportunity to do so.

There's a shortage of linens. We only had one washcloth the first night and had to go to the front desk for another one. The second night there were no washcloths. A lady at the desk gave us what we all thought was one and said she would bring another one to our room. When we got back to our room and I unfolded what the lady gave me it was a hand towel that had been cut in half and was partly threadbare. I think it was a cleaning rag. I guess there were no more washcloths to be had because no one brought one to our room.

Great environment, friendly staff, restaurant and bar had plenty of options, location was close to venue. Plenty of partying if that's your deal, but even the quiet areas in the back filtered out much of the noise when trying to sleep.

Bathtub was peeling paint, causing the drain to clog and drain very slow. Which was annoying in the mornings when taking turns showering. Everything else was in working order and in good condition.

I like that you can order food, and chill by the pool.

We booked a room with 2 king beds, and one bed was a king and the other was a full. Also cleaned up a spill, and the towl was black afterward. Need to mop better. They only have one microwave on property bybthe ice and vending mechanism. Would be nice to have a chair in there or something. When you got to use one microwave down the hall from your family and got to cook ramen for everyone with 3 and a half min and a runn down the hall with hot soup..... yeah anyways. Other then that. Great stafe. And great value

The location was great and super close to all of our ideal destinations, no more than a 15-20 minutes drive for almost everything whether it was downtown or in a surrounding neighborhood (the heights or midtown). The actual property was beautiful and truly fit a modern style that worked well with a quiet and chill atmosphere. The staff were phenomenal and so kind and so accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was great every morning!

There were only very small mishaps such as the bedding being a little dirty and the trash wasn’t empty when we entered the room, but other than that it was a great stay for the value price!

This hotel was in a great location and the venue is beautifully decorated. My brother and I really enjoyed the bar and outside area, which was all around great vibes and atmosphere, and simply beautiful. Outside of that, this made our first trip to Houston worth while and we will be back! Staff were friendly and courteous.

The room we had, may not have been cleaned thoroughly as there were some things we noticed. Also, checking out took about 30 min, as there was only one person checking us out on a Sunday morning, but they took care of us when they could.

The general vibe of the hotel was great! Nice pool area and the breakfast had a good variety of options. Ample free parking on site which was an added bonus.

Bathroom could do with a revamp. There were renovations going on during the early hours of the morning to other rooms which was bit of a nuisance. Would suggest having a car to get around a little easier as there isn't much to walk to close by.

This is a very colorful place to stay at. The design and paintings are cool, very nice for young people. The bar is nice, the pool and outdoor area is well furnished. The staff was nice. Music in the evening gave the place a fun vibe. In the summer this place probably has great parties. The kitchen in the evening was fantastic! Best burgers we had in all of our trip around the South and the staff was very nice when bringing it to us. And the margaritas were a bomb. A bit expensive, but tasted great. The rooms were clean, Ice machine on the 1st floor, there is a lift and parking next to the rooms. No smoking is allowed. Looked pet friendly. Maybe the room itself is not cheap but when you ad the atmosphere and all you can get on the spot - grate place to stay.

-It does need a little bit of touchup, but just a little (like our white bed cover had spots - just put a new one on and - perfect). -The neighborhood is a bit empty and as tourists we didn't want to walk around there. No eating sports around, but the hotels kitchen made up for that. Had to drive everywhere. -The breakfast was.....almost nonexistent. Bread, butter, jam, few yogurts, boiled eggs and coffee.

It was pretty low key, easily accessible by car with free parking and it was close to several cool little cafes in the neighborhood. The room service food was probably some of the best I’ve had at a hotel ever. The pool was clean and pretty chill in the day time. It was a good place for the price.

You can tell it was a motel conversion but they did a decent job. The elevator stopped working on one of the days and it’s definitely not the most accessible if you have any physical limitations. There were no plugs close to the beds. There was also no water available at the grab and go breakfast.
