I love everything about the Lancaster! It is a wonderful boutique hotel with old world charm. I love the staff and our suite was lovely. The room service breakfast was fabulous and the restaurant did not disappoint. I love the coffee machine and snacks in the rooms. The staff are all dedicated and I love the doorman and turn down service. I love the art work in the rooms and throughout the hotel. It was our second stay and we hope to stay there again soon! Definitely recommend. It provides value for money, has been quiet for us and great views from the upper floors. Wonderful and convenient location.

The bathroom was lovely but the shower in our suite needs some updates.

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The free drink and snacks in the room, the quick response of the room service, the self guided art tour, the fitness room, and many small details made you feel like home. The breakfast was my favorite. The hotel is located in theatre district, we should have booked a show in advance but we ran out of time. Would love to revisit here in the future.

The room that we stayed, the shower door was not sealed well enough. Didn’t bother us but might cause some issue in the long run. Suggest to keep an eye on it.

We were unable to enjoy breakfast as my frail friend fell into the bathtub and broke her leg ! However the staff responded to this emergency with grace and efficiency. It was such a pleasure to stay at a place that exemplifies good service in keeping with standards that we come to expect from hotels with their history and reputation. I will definitely stay here again should the occasion warrant. I will say their parking is somewhat pricey, but as they provided all services complimentarily due to my friends accident, how can I complain? All the staff were extremely helpful and cheerful, even though they were working on New Year's Day.

It would have been nice to know the restaurant would not be open on New Year's Day. I often travel during the holidays and make it a point to stay at hotels with restaurants and bars, so I was somewhat surprised the dining room was closed.

EVERYTHING! The service the entire stay was impeccable with friendly and attentive staff throughout the whole hotel. The shower's water pressure made me feel like I was under a waterfall, the bed was very comfortable, rooms were clean with no air fresheners such a plus, and the complimentary snacks were very nice. All in all the best experience I've ever had, and I'll be back very soon.

Nicely appointed hotel. Room was large and good storage for clothes. Only a few niggles which were sorted out eventually: bathroom sink plug didn’t work & housekeeping didn’t provide a 2nd robe in the middle of our stay. Also I asked the hotel for something special to be provided for my wife’s birthday prior to arrival, but that didn’t turn up until I prompted them on the day.

The staff was exceptional. We felt so welcomed from the minute we got out of the car until final checkout. The room was comfortable and inviting. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. The bar and restaurant were wonderful. We ate dinner there 2 of the 3 nights we were there. The location is perfect for theater goers. It's in the heart of the arts district. I will likely never stay anywhere else when I'm in the Houston downtown area.

I really can't think of anything I didn't like. The valet situation got a little backed up when we first arrived, but that's just a function of being downtown with limited space. The valets were efficient and moved everyone through as quickly as possible.

The staff was incredibly friendly-- from the valet to the front desk to the maintenance crew. Everyone was so kind. We had a smooth check-in process. There was one inconsistency that the gentleman checking in the family next to me pointed out the complimentary beverages they could help themselves to (prosseco and water), but the woman checking me in never offered them to us. We were booked into a Deluxe King and it was huge! So clean and comfortable. There are complimentary snacks and beverages that are re-stocked each day. I have never experienced that before and was a huge bonus. There was a maintenance issue in our room-- bathtub drain missing a screw and was dangling. Maintenance was upstairs within minutes and got it fixed. Valet guys were awesome! Free breakfast is such a wonderful perk-- especially with how over priced hotel breakfast can be. There's not an expansive on-site gym, but they have a nearby partnership. Such a comfortable stay. Easy access to the freeway or can avoid traffic by cutting through downtown.

i really liked The Lancaster Hotel in Houston... staff amazing location also, nothing to complain about the room was very clean and with all the necessary for a good stay.

Honestly i was not expecting after i booked a room with breakfast included to be charged for a caffelatte.. i was not asking for 2 or 3 just one.. i dont think is correct and i finished almost my breakfast and i received at the end. an amazing place like this should not fall in this mistake.

The Lancaster Hotel radiates a chique atmosphere. It is loaded with beautiful local artworks. The decoration is very stylish. Staff goes the extra mile. Complimentary breakfast is basic but delicious. Bulgari room amenities give an extra touch. Minibar was filled with free (non-alcoholic) drinks. Redundant Nespresso coffee and free snacks complemented our wonderful stay.

Honestly I can hardly suggest any improvement.
