A variety of options for breakfast at the buffet (including eggs, meats, breads, yogurt, fruit); the staff is friendly and efficient; the location is convenient; I love that they included phone-related décor to match the historical building (it used to be the Southwestern Bell location). We also enjoyed the view and drinks at the bar on the top floor.

We had a pull out sofa for the girls; that could have better bedding offered - the fitted sheet was on and the flat sheet folded on top but the blanket provided in the closet was thin and only 1 pillow. But - I didn't ask about another blanket, so maybe they would have had something better.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff was friendly, the room (and restroom) was very clean and this location was perfect for the half marathon. I literally walked out of the hotel and straight to my corral! I 100% will be booking here again. I brought my own breakfast because I'm on a strict diet but the breakfast looked really good! It's also worth mentioning that for a downtown hotel, it was pretty quiet.

There is nothing I disliked about this hotel. My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer. I booked for an extra night but there was a freeze coming and I didn't want to get stuck downtown so I left early.

The breakfast went just a little bit above and beyond from most hotel breakfasts, with little things that made a big difference! The staff is always friendly and helpful, hotel and rooms are always clean, beds are comfortable and over all everything has been a great experience with this hotel. It was our second stay there.

No parking unless you pay the valet fee. But I know that's not the fault of the hotel that they don't have free parking downtown.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was simple (a good thing) and satisfying. The location was great in that we could walk to the aquarium and Minute Maid Park and ride the metro train to the zoo and natural science museum. The room was good enough to accommodate me, my wife, sister and her husband.

I know prices of everything including lodging has gone up but this was the most expensive place I ever stayed at but it was better than some of the others we could have chosen. Couch in the room was not that comfortable and hot water was a long time coming if first in the shower.

Very friendly staff, efficient check inn and out. Location, close to downtown restaurants and bars. Easy to park, public parking very close (Binz 20 $, 2 min walk) Spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast included + Choices at breakfast; hot/cold, fresh fruit salad and different whole fruit options!

Pricey at 212 $ / night, I wanted to pay that price for the location. But is relatively expensive for what it provides.

I really think the room cleaning service should be daily. That’s what makes it different from being at your house. Being outside all day and getting to your hotel room seeing a my least your bed made is everything. Coffe is pretty cheap so they could also have it available all day instead of having to pay for Starbucks coffee

Rooms are big and clean, furniture looks okay, the bed was comfortable, breakfast is good (they try to make some kind of English breakfast but it isn't really English breakfast). The hotel was fairly close to the George Brown Convention Centre (~15 min walking). They have a bar on the top floor with a great view.

The house keeping wasn't there every day to tidy up the room (had to ask the front desk), the air conditioning in the rooms is super loud. It is impossible to have it running at night

Location was great, view was amazing from 14th floor, spotless clean, organized, comfortable and safe environment. Conveniently close to my event.

encountered trouble with first staff at check in. I booked and paid for a city view room and he was checking me into the 2nd floor. He told me there were no more rooms available. Other employee overheard, stepped in, and immediately checked me in to my city view room. The female Bar tender was not very helpful, When I requested a drink menu, she pointed out to the tables and told me every table should have one and to go look. I told her no menu's were available at any table. She found on sitting at the bar and handed that to me.

How functional it was the ease of access to everything and it’s location was perfect for our mini staycation

The staff welcomed my daughter with custom chocolate bar wishing her a happy birthday. Then late that night we didn’t have plates for her cake and they made sure to give her some and silverware! Valet was so sweet and helpful
